On April 16, between 2:25 P.M. ET and 4:12 P.M. ET, the domain zoom.us was not available due to a server block by GoDaddy Registry. This block was the result of a communication error between Zoom’s domain registrar, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy Registry, which resulted in GoDaddy Registry mistakenly shutting down zoom.us domain. Zoom, Markmonitor, and GoDaddy worked quickly to identify and remove the block, which restored service to the domain zoom.us. There was no product, security or network failure at Zoom during the outage. GoDaddy and Markmonitor are working together to prevent this from happening again.

Zoom share links

My recorded videos are now creating a new link every time I share it with a co-worker and the old link is no longer valid.  This doesn't make any sense to me and I would like to revert to the old system.

How do I change this back to the old way when there was one link for one recording?

While the link changes every time you click on “Share", it will still redirect anyone who clicks on the link to the recording you have stored in the cloud.

I’m thinking that maybe the old links become invalid because when they were shared it has an expiration date? You can check that by going to Recording > Select the topic of the recording you want to share > Share > Share Settings (In blue at the bottom of the pop up) > Uncheck the box w/ “Set expiration date"
