I’ve hooked up my canon m50 as I should. Including the canon utility.
The camera is not showing up in the zoom video setting. It defaults to
the FaceTime built in camera only.
im running Mac OS Big Sur and iMac 2019 intel.
any help?

I notice there hasn't been a response to your question yet.
Try registering for "Office Hours" at https://zoom.us/j/844989302 and asking your question there. There an plenty of camera experts on the panel who may be able to help. Questions can be asked during the session - look out for the Chat in the session with instruction on how to submit questions.
