Participants getting a expired link message when trying to join using google zoom add on

I recently added the zoom add on on google workspace. However the participants trying to join meeting using the add on button are more often than not getting a message saying meeting is scheduled for a date in 1979? I have no idea how to fix this has anyone had this same issue if so how can it be fixed.
