One Panelist cannot be seen or heard by others

So, this is a weird one. We have a regularly scheduled monthly Webinar. We have several panelists, and many attendees. One of the panelists, lets call her Liz, suddenly cannot be heard or seen.  Everything was fine for a year, now the last 2 months we have a problem.

Now to be clear, she has a computer with no camera. But she used to show up on the VIEW as a place holder with her name, and when she spoke the view would kick over and we could hear her.  Now the image holder of her is gone, and we cant hear her.  Weirder still, she shows up in the list you can open over to the side, but not in the viewer.

Any thoughts?

Welcome to the Zoom Community, @big_al_prescott.

There is an option in the View menu (upper right corner on desktops) to “Hide cameras without video” (might not be the exact name). This prevents people's profile image and/or name from being displayed in lieu of no video. If you reset that setting, they should reappear in your gallery view.

She should be able to be heard, but you would have no visible indication of it, since there’s no rectangle to be highlighted with a full outline or partial line at the bottom, as with visible videos.

I'm sure the “list you can open over on the side” is the participant window, which always shows everyone.

I she can’t be heard – and is unable to unmute – it’s possible she has not joined using her Panelist link, and is therefore in the “audience” as an attendee, not as a panelist.

Ray -- check out the GoodClix website.

Thank you. That plus one other move fixed the problem
