Breakout room on Zoom Event

I'm hosting a virtual event for 500 pax and I need breakout rooms and simultaneous interpretation.

I used to use Zoom business licencee to do this. And now I just saw Zoom Event. Does Zoom Event support breakout rooms?

I have already scheduled the Zoom meeting under a pro license and sent out invitations . If I buy Zoom Event license now, does it work with my meeting already scheduled?

Zoom Events is separate from meetings and you would have to recreate the event. Depending on the type of event you choose to create, there are different options as far as breakout sessions. Most likely you would want to use the conferences feature which will allow up to 12 (if I remember correctly) simultaneous meetings or webinars to take place. These are actually separate meetings, not break-out sessions. Here is a link to some more information on Zoom Events.
