Zoom 5.15.3.4839 on Ubuntu Linux high CPU load

Not sure if this is the right board to report this issue - I recently upgraded my zoom from 5.12.9.367 to 5.15.3.4839 on my Ubuntu 22.04 Linux, and found that the new version of zoom keeps on using 100% CPU even during idle. After I reverted the version back to 5.12, this behavior disappeared.

My Linux kernel is 5.15.0-76-generic, with NVIDIA rtx 2060 GPU, driver version 525.125.06.

Had this exact issue upgrading to 5.15.10.6882 from 5.12.6.173. Downgraded back to 5.12 and it stopped.

I've been having similar issues for a while (I'm on 6.5 but this has been going on for over a year, possibly since 5.12/5.13). I'm pretty sure it's to do with the `mojom.Unzipper` module (from here: https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/HEAD/mojo/public/tools/bindings/README.md?) because this is the process which has 100% CPU for me, and killing it always solves the problem (with no noticeable effect on Zoom).

See if you have the same process in something like htop.

Can confirm this issue on 5.16.5. Will create a bug report.
Temporary fix mentioned by gtf21 works. Thanks!

Temporary fix mentioned by @gtf21 still works. Thanks a lot! It's so quiet here now! 🙂

@zoom1337can you link your bug report?
