Error Resolution Request - Added a User Instead of Inviting the Colleague

I inadvertently added a colleague as a user (basic) to my Zoom account. I was trying to add him as an invitee. 

He has his own business zoom account and got an email indicating he was leaving Zoom.

 

In the user tab, should I hit delete?   I don't want to delete his current Zoom account.

Please disregard as I had gotten Zoom support who advised I delete my colleague as a user and this had no effect on his Zoom subscription. Thanks!
