PowerPoint slides appear as black screen to participants?

I am using my iPad to share content, I select Microsoft One Drive to select my PowerPoint slides. They look great on my screen but the participant only  sees  the PowerPoint logo pop up just as I do but then a black screen where the slide should be. As I click through the  slides, they see the page counter change but with no image.  How can I fix this?

Apologies for the late reply on this:   There is a Zoom Support article that sounds like it could address the issue you've had with powerpoint and black screen: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/202082128-Black-screen-during-screen-sharing.

 

If you do not feel this fits for your scenario, would you be able to provide more details on your make/model of laptop?  Do other presentation formats (Keynote or Google Slides) seem to work as required (Is the problem limited to PPT)?
