We are having trouble adding Zoom Rooms as panellists for Zoom events, especially when there are 5-10 Zoom Rooms joining from different countries. As a Zoom admin, we need to have someone join from their laptop first and then pair with the specific Zoom Room before joining the event from the lobby. This process can be time-consuming and troublesome. Often, those working in remote offices lack technical skills, resulting in mistakes during the long process. Is there any easy way to Join from ZR with one click as a panellist or is there anything on the roadmap for simplifying the process?  

I have a group who are in the middle of property valuation appeals and they are taking up all of our cloud storage. I offered to help, but in order to do that I have to share with myself, open the recording then download. How and where can I change a setting to allow me to download directly from the Recording Management page instead of adding multiple steps (and time consumption) to the process? Thanks,Brian Craven

I haven't been able to find a voicemail retention policy configuration page.  Also, I haven't found any support pages describing the defaults of a policy.  Does Zoom Phone have a default retention policy for voicemail messages?  Is this a roadmap item already?  Thanks to anyone who might have something to share.

We are using Zoom to record a podcast. In this arena, competitors like Zencastr and Streamyard tout "local recording," which they use to mean: "Each user records a separate audio and video file on their device and uploads them to StreamYard in the background. Even if someone has a weak connection, the recordings won't be blurry or choppy." and "if you or your guests experience issues with your internet connections (drops, disconnections) the quality of the recorded audio and video will not be impacted by those issues." As in, all the recording is taking place on the participant's computer, then being uploaded over the internet, resulting in higher quality. I know that you can collect separate audio tracks and I know that Zoom has "local recording", but Zoom's page on this describes Local Recording as the ability to download the file to your desktop at the end. Hello, I need help with a problem of local Zoom recordings. It turns out that I accidentally deleted some recordings that I made with Zoom and that were saved on my computer, and not in the cloud. I have tried to recover them with several data recovery programs, but I have not succeeded. The curious thing is that when I enter the Zoom recordings section, the recordings appear there, but when I try to open them it tells me that it cannot find the file path. Is there any way to recover local recordings from the Zoom platform itself? Or does anyone know of a program that works for this case? I appreciate your help very much.

After some time in the conference, the program hangs and crashes. Hi Ray,I purchased the Large Meeting/500 capacity in March for work trainings. I noticed on one of the trainings that the room capacity capped out at 300. This made me check my Zoom plan to make sure it was actually 500 (not 300). I start and end meetings so I'm always the host.  Would you know why the room capacity capped out at 300 during that training?  We are hosting another training this month that will have 300+ attendees and I want to make sure it doesn't cap out again. Thanks so much! Kathy

I can't record my meetings, when I am the host.  I have the settings set I think for recording a meeting but it won't show the record button

This started not too long ago.  If we paste any amount of text into the Chat window, it pastes in fine, but after sending it is delivered to the recipient as a picture.  Any ideas on how to fix ?

At the planning stage of the meeting, can we set a rule for the participants that the video should be on or off?Many Thanks.

We conduct training webinar sessions with our customers and are required by our corporate privacy policy to hide participant names from other participants in our training webinars. However, when we answer a question in Q&A, the question and answer with the participant's name display to all of the other participants on the "All questions" tab. We don't want to force all questions to be submitted to us anonymously, because WE (the hosts) need to see participant names (for internal reporting and tracking only), but participant names should always be "anonymous" to other participants and guest panelists (outside of our organization). Am I missing a setting somewhere? Hi all, There used to be a toggle button against the library of historic poll questions, that allowed you to 'switch on' chosen questions for inclusion in a webinar. This function now appears to have been removed. After a lengthy online chat with a Zoom agent, it seems that the entire list of historic poll questions will now appear in the poll function during a webinar, necessitating either scrolling through the whole list to find the question you want to launch, or deleting all the irrelevant questions once in the practice session or webinar. Can somebody clarify for me if I have understood this correctly, as this seems like a really useful function (the toggle button) has been removed, making the poll question library a much more unwieldy and un-user-friendly function. Any input gratefully received!

What kind of information can we obtain from the participant? Can we require the ability to obtain information? For example, can we require the participant to enter city information or email address? It is a rule that they are required to enter such specific information. Is it possible, can we get data about the people entering the meeting, what data can we get? Also, can it be obligatory to enable video sharing when attending an online meeting?

I have a new JBL Quantum 400 USB wired headset that I'd like to use in a Zoom meeting. The problem comes when I attempt to share anything that has audio content. It seems Zoom sees the headphones on the headset as "Chat" earphones, while Windows sees them as "Game" headphones. I cannot select my Zoom speaker to be the "Game" headphones, nor can I set Windows to use the "Chat" earphones output while I have Zoom open. The net result is that no one in the meeting is able to hear anything I share in the meeting. Any thoughts?

Hi, I am big user of the interpretation feature which is really awesome, and I have only good things to say about it.Interpreters I am working with have requested, if it is possible, to listen to each other. I'll describe one of the scenario:- Discussion panel with 4 people, and 2 interpreters per language.in this case, it would make the synchronization between the two interpreters easier if they had the option to hear each other. This should be optional only as not all translators want this, but for some, who have been used to this option in other settings, have been insisting. Can this be a feature? Or alternatively is there a way to develop this feature through the API?

I was trying to switch my account from US -> AUS I clicked cancel and it did not give me the options to add a plan. So I clicked "Reactivate". And now I can't edit the plan. It says I need to contact support but it's been 3 business days and there's no response. I'm heading overseas soon and won't be able to resolve this while I'm overseas. Seems crazy that Zoom's system just removes the ability to stop paying them money. Any idea how I can resolve this?

Here's what happened. 1. I started a meeting. Hit Record. Guest confirmed/approved recording.2. Realized I was still set to Gallery Mode so I ended the recording. Re-set to Speaker and started again.3. The other User confirmed the recording again.4. Post-meeting (39 minutes later) only the first bit of the meeting (the incorrect Gallery View portion) is available. I have no idea what I did wrong. I've searched for the file. Nothing. It's not in the folder. It's nowhere. I've researched a long while and can't find any info that's simply explained. If I started a meeting, hit Record, then stopped Recording and started again, does that make the second recording not save? The same thing has happened twice on two different dates. Is there any way at all to find a meeting you recorded that isn't showing up anywhere? Even after a restart? Thanks so much for any info you can share.
