Hello!Our organization recently migrated from GotoMeeting to Zoom; still trying to figure out all the settings.I prefer joining Zoom meetings using my phone for audio instead of my computer mic/speakers (I like to pace) while I connect to the video with my computer as normal. I've found that depending on which colleague's meeting I'm joining, when I dial in (or have Zoom dial me) sometimes Zoom will prompt me to record my name, then hit #, other times it won't and simply says "You are in the meeting now". Where is this toggle setting located? My preference is it NOT prompt me for my name. I don't like saying my name, and usually skip it pressing #. The other meeting goers already see my name, picture or video, having an audio intro is redundant. It's also obnoxious when you're already in a meeting and you hear "_ has joined the meeting" instead of the usual doorbell. Hi, I just tried to pass on host to another at the start of the meeting.  When I hover over participants name and click on MORE it only gives me the option of PIN and CHAT.  The Co-Host tab is switched on in settings and had no problems in a previous meeting. What am I missing ?

Hello dear community. I just renewed my Pro Plan with annual payment on Zoom, as it is set to expire in a month (on 27.03.2024). I received an invoice with a price of 0.80 €, even though it should be 149.90 €. What's going on? Greetings and thanks in advance from Anja.

Hi, I'm having trouble signing into my business Zoom account, which I pay for. I forgot to update my email address on Zoom because I was usually signed in or had my computer save the passwords. Now that I've canceled my professional email address, and it no longer exists, I can't sign into my Zoom account. The system is sending verification codes to an email that no longer exists. I have another Zoom account, but it's not on a paid plan. I tried filing a ticket, but it says the account doesn't exist, making it impossible for customer support to respond. I also called Zoom's phone number, but they asked for a Zoom ID and Host ID. I entered the ones from my free Zoom account, and even on the phone, the chat bot said they can't help because the account doesn't exist. I'm feeling frustrated as I need to host webinars, but I can't access my Zoom business account, and I can't contact Zoom through my private free Zoom account. Can anyone offer assistance? What should I do?

I am in an infinite loop! I have a Pro Subscription for 1 user, me (which I am then also the IT administrator) and am not able to log on.  I receive this error message: You cannot log into your Zoom account using this method. Contact your IT administrator for instructions. (2,025). I can't reset my password because it directs me to use Google to sign in Zoom.  I need "someone", thinking Zoom Technical Support, to reset my account but I can't submit a Support Ticket because I can't log on to my Zoom Account. This is the definition of insanity and I have exhausted the "bot" (doesn't understand the situation) and the web trouble shooting instructions.  They all just keep telling me to reset my password! Someone please help me get out of this Zoom "hell"!   

There are no invoices listed on my account and I need this for tax purposes - please can someone support me to locate this please? Thank you

Hi, We use Zoom in our church and record our services. On a Sunday, we almost never have any problems, and the resulting video is 1920 x 1080; however, whenever I record a wedding or funeral, the resulting file always seems to be awful (640 x 360?). The differences seem to be:Sunday services: more people on Zoom, an additional laptop being used in church to handle the PowerPoint which is also connected to Zoom (though no idea why this would have an effect).Other services: few people on Zoom, no additional laptop. Other potential issues: we are using mobile broadband in church, but it seems too much of a coincidence that we have poor broadband on those 'Other services' days. Any ideas what could be causing the problem? Thanks in advance, Patrick

After the latest upgrade has been installed on my computer zoom is not launching anymore!There is no error message, there is nothing. (Why cannot get any error message if an error happened?) I cannot launch the main application, and i cannot join to any meetings.When I click the zoom application, it is simply does not doing anything.I tried to start from console. Same. Nothing. Not even an error message. OS: Ubuntu 18.04.6Zoom version: 5.17.5 (2543) I checked out that all necessary libs are currently installed on my computers.This error affects ALL of my computers. What can I do to make zoom work again? Desired work:When I click on zoom icon the main window should be displayed.When I want to join to a meeting, I must able to do that.When any error happening I must able to see error message (in terminal or in a separate log file)

The "Meeting Summary with AI Companion" button is grayed out in Settings > AI Companion and cannot be changed.It says 'Locked by Admin', but I am the (only) owner and user of the account.  I have the same problem with a different account that I have for a non profit organization.Both accounts are paid accounts.Please advise.

When I try to join a meeting, it tells me that there was an unexpected error and I cannot enter. I have the latest version of the application, and I don't have any antivirus that blocks it. 

My company uses Zoom Team Chat as a means of instant messaging. Can my boss see messages to another colleague that I sent to that colleague privately over Zoom Team Chat?

Good morning Hosting a virtual career fair and would like registrants to be able to register for specific breakout rooms in advance. Does Zoom have that capability and if so, how do I set it up. Thanks

Below is what we need to do for upcoming seminar. Is this possible? Need to run two separate presentations at same time, then open multiple breakout rooms for attendees to each presentation. We will have a hosts & co-host. We will pre-assign guests to Session A or Session B. All guests start in main room.    Session A people stay in main room for their presentation (45 mins.). Co-host will run presentation and manage rooms. Will go into breakout rooms (30 mins.) with other people who attended Session A. After 30 mins. co-host will close session A breakout rooms and return people to main meeting.   Session B people will move out of main meeting room to one breakout room for presentation (45 mins.). Host will run presentation and manage rooms. Session B people will need to move into breakout rooms with ONLY other people who attended Session B. After 30 mins. co-host will close Session B breakout rooms and return people to main meeting. Is this possible to do?

My ProblemI'm coming from Teams, where I was notified when a meeting started. I've found with Zoom; I can only get reminded 5 minutes before a meeting which is still plenty of time to keep working and lose track of time. Proposed SolutionI'd love it if "At Start Time" could be added to the list of options in the drop-down for "Remind me X minutes before my upcoming meets" (screenshot attached).

Hi, I have my Settings to Automatically Record Meetings to the Cloud, but when someone books a meeting via Zoom Scheduler, it does NOT automatically record. See my experience: https://screenrec.com/share/KwTBeiRW3C Can you please advise how to fix this?

My current version of zoom is 5.16.10 - been trying to update it to 5.17.2. I tried to uninstall Zoom (using CleanZoom.exe) in order to reinstall it - that is after uninstalled Norton but still present the following error code: "The file 'C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\Updater\' is not valid installation package for the product Zoom ...." Obviously, I can't update it via Norton Software Updater in the first place, thus uninstalling Norton.But since I can't even uninstall Zoom after uninstalling Norton, I really do not know what else I can do to update Zoom.  I am operating at Admin level on my notebook running on Windows. Thank you for reading and your help will be much appreciated.
