As an admin, how to require participants to enter name when joining a meeting via phone call?

How do I setup zoom with macbook pro and a 12 channel mixing board in a church setting? 

I have a new laptop, Dell 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1255U   1.70 GHz, using Windows 11.Sharing music is not working. I've tested microphones, speakers - they work well when using them generally, no issues with playing music when not on Zoom.But when I'm on Zoom, sharing sound, the music comes in and out and mostly disappears. I've tried mono and stereo and other settings, makes no difference.The issue also occurred when attending an event with music and voice. When the person was speaking the sound on Zoom was fine, when music was played it was terrible, in and out and disappearing. I know how to share music, have done it heaps of times on previous laptop. Used two different music programs, same issue (iTunes, Windows). Assistance greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I use a Livetrak L-8 sound mixer. It is connected to my desktop (HPZ440 workstation). For Zoom Meeting, I lead songs using a microphone and a guitar. They are connected to the L-8 sound mixer so that my audience can hear my singing and guitar clearly. I use ethernet to ensure stable connection. I have a 1Ghz fibre broadband subscription.  I was told that sound mixer is the best approach, but I have failed to get good sound to the participants of the meeting. The vocal is scratchy and the guitar sound is choppy and at times inaudible. I have already selected the original sound (see attached screenshots) In fact it is worse than when I was using the TASCAM recorder/mic as a single audio input, directly connected to my desktop. Can anyone advise if there is something that I have missed? Thanks.

My wife has been part of a weekday morning Zoom for some time now,  and has always had an issue where the meeting host often plays music at the start of the meeting.  The sound quality of the host's song audio is really poor, to where you can sometimes barely hear the songs.  However, there's absolutely no issue with his microphone when talking, even over the music. There are sometimes hundreds of others on this same meeting, none of whom seem to express any issue with the music from the host.  I've gone and switched laptops for her and get the same result.  I've turned off signal processing in Zoom Settings. (no change).  I've tinkered with other settings on the laptop, improved the wi-fi reception, etc.  I can't believe she's the only one having this issue if you were to say it may be from the Host's side.

Hello!Please see attached screenshot. It is a mock up I made and shows my issue clearer than I can explain.Goal: to not have two host videos seen by attendees when I choose the new screenshare layout option. How do I get rid of the small host video?I have only checked this with (1) attendee, I am not sure if the view changes with more than (1) attendees. Thank you for your brain power, in advance. Librarycat

Hi, I'm conducting a webinar and want to:a) present a few slides as host,b) turn it over to a co-host to present a few slidesc) then have a panel of 4 people take over, with all 4 always on screen/video,d) then take back over as host Is this possible? How do I control the camera that way?  And if a host turns off mic and camera, do they still show up as a 'box' on the screen? 

We created a webinar and we wanted to see if we could share video and audio at the same time (we figured it would be easy since we've been doing the same with our zoom meetings)  During the practice session we tried to share video but the option to share audio is not clickable. The only other option was to share computer sound (which was not what we wanted). When we would play the video, there's no audio being heard by the panelists or anyone else in the room.

We have a recording which is giving errors and we need support.  We currently have 23 Zoom Business users and 7 Rooms but chat and phone support says we don't qualify?

When I started using Zoom, using the Annotate Draw tool gave me a very thin line. But, sometime in the past 6 months, the thinnest line I can select is a fat line -- similar to the thicker option previously.  How do I get that very thin line back?  The pic attached shows the thinnest line I can get. 

When I try to arrange a meeting through the application on my computer, it shows me that the host of the meeting is not the visitor from which I am connected to the application.

2 weeks ago some problems with the conference began. My home Wi-Fi often doesn't allow me to see or hear participants. And participants can't see or hear me. I have to distribute the mobile Internet from my mobile phone. Sometimes everything is fine, sometimes it's bad. And it's not just me. I live in Russia, and many students have the same problem. The provider says that there are no problems on their side, no restrictions. Perhaps Zoom itself did something and the difficulties appeared. Please tell me what the problem could be. Speed of my router is good.

When start a meeting in Google Calendar, it shows "Conferencing solutions can't be loaded" in zoom setting sections.

Hi all, I have several recurring meetings with no fixed date enabled.  Today I logged into my meetings and saw that they were all renamed: "Zoom Meeting" instead of their individual meeting titles.  The ID's are still unique, but I don't know which meeting is which. I tried to change the title of the mysterious "Zoom Meetings" and my ability to do so is greyed out with a message to ask my admin if I'd like to make changes.  As the owner and only user of the account I AM the admin.  Any thoughts as to what is going on and how to fix it?

For the last week, the Audio-Technica mic I've used for years started sounding bad on Zoom. It is fine on all my other audio programs. I reinstalled Zoom. Played with ALL the settings. I spoke to a client of mine who has a production company that knows audio, and he had no solutions that I hadn't tried. As the audio guy said, it sounds like there are two mics, not one. When I use other mics, it works fine. So, it's only this mic with Zoom. With the mic working with other apps, then I know it's Zoom. I have spent several hours trying to fix it and trying to speak to someone other than a bot or fill out several tickets.

I set up a PMI today, but I had to use my husband's cell number because my phone number was being used by another customer. I wonder if that customer is me, and if I can retrieve it.

How do I get rid of the ZoomDiagnostics.app is damaged and can't be opened message - you should move it to the Bin. It won't Move to Bin or Cancel despite multiple tries. Have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom but it won't go away. Working on a brand new MacBook Air running Sonoma 14.3   Help please !!  

I'm having a major issue where my audio is getting cut off when other people in my meeting speak. Before multiple people could speak at the same time, but it seems not anymore. But the weird thing is it seems to only be happening with me. I have a professional setup, so there should be nothing on my end causing this. I did find that adjusting my microphone volume in the zoom settings helps a little, but I haven't been able to find a sweet spot that fixes this altogether. My system is a new high end Asus Zephyrus laptop, a Shure SM7dB mic, Sony MDR7506 headphones, and a Rode RodeCaster Duo. I am also connected to the Internet via hard wired cable with a 1GB connection.

Thank you so much for creating this. It is proving to be very useful. One issue I see the companion having is the summary dictation uses very emotional language.Words like 'frustration' should be changed to 'the issue with'. I find it odd that your AI trainers decided that human equals emotional.

Hello, I really hope you can help. Could someone please tell me or direct me to an article that explains why, when they are both connected to the same meeting, a host cannot launch the AI Companion, but only the alternative host can? I thought the host was the primary individual responsible for managing the meeting. Thank you!

Hello. We have some issues from our clients about technical difficulties with connecting to zoom. Clients don't have problem with connection, we've checked. They see Connecting. VPN don't help. 

I have a Macbook Air with Sequoia 15.0.1 operating system and for about two months, the zoom screen image replicates on all 9 desktops of the Mac! Does anyone know how to see it only on one of the desktops and leave the others free?  I want to let you know that I have the same problem with QuickTime Player whose image I see replicated on all 9 desktops of my Mac!Thanks for your attention.

It says I need to contact my admin to remove a password from my meeting room, but I don't have an admin. Anyone know how to fix this? I tried to follow steps from a previous question, but going to User Management Roles to enter myself as admin doesn't work, there's no place to add myself as admin. It just asks for billing information, but I'm on the free version. 

Is there a way to set up downloads of cloud meeting recordings so that the meeting topic (ie the name I've given to each meeting) is part of the file name instead of just the GMT date and the series of numbers assigned to each meeting?  I have about 100 meetings to download, and without a bulk download option I already have to do them one at a time, but I could do that quickly if they came down with the meeting topic as part of it; without it, I have to wait until each one downloads and change the name on all the files associated with that download so I don't lose track of what's what. SUCH a time waster! Thanks very much!
