This started about 2 weeks ago. I have to run through speaker and microphone settings every meeting. I end up back where it was set after testing. It doesn't matter if I don't change machines or have been on another video conference program before joining Zoom. Same machine, last meeting is Zoom and I still have to test. Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks!
We are looking to host 4-8 confidential Zoom meetings at any given time (e.g., 4-8 different participants in separate Zoom rooms all at the same time) to be accessed by the same Zoom link. We investigated break-out rooms as an option, with pre-assigning and automatically assigning, with the plan being to admit one participant at a time and assign them before admitting another. A potential issue with this is human error - accidentally clicking admit twice and admitting two participants into the same main room could happen in this scenario and that will disrupt participant confidentiality. Are there other options to allow multiple different rooms in a Zoom meeting from the same Zoom link with absolute confidentiality? Or would staff NEED personalized Zoom links?
Warning about Logitech Webcam driver software. I had Zoom working OK off-line, lost video when joining a call. I installed the latest app for my Logitech C130 webcam. Then I tested - all working offline. The moment I joined a call (test call even) I lost all audio, left call it was OK again.Solved with a work-around. Open the Logitech app and uninstall everything except the basic driver. Open Zoom, unplug the webcam. Join call, re-plug the webcam. Works, but not ideal.The problem lies with the tiny microphone in the webcam. The moment your call accesses the video, the Logitech audio driver kills all other audio. Note that the Zoom test call locks up if you have the Logitech app connected, you get a pop-up saying no audio device detected, thern a test menu. That is frozen, can't close, can't cancel, have to close Zoom or wait for time-out on the test call. Someone should test the Logitech latest download and check if incompatible with latest Zoom. I am a Zoom Premium user. On my other Zoom account, I was able to see and use Breakout Rooms, but on this paid account, the Breakout Rooms option is not visible. I have a logi web cam. Everything was working well. I could show my background, however, you can't see me. While that does have some benefits, it's not very professional. Any ideas how to fix it?
There is no "More" options at controls at the bottom of the screen for me to live stream my meeting on Facebook and Youtube. My subscription is Standard Pro Monthly. Please advise. Yahya Hamid.
Zoom Phone includes a Call Screening feature. (Phone/Settings/Other) I like the feature, but I would prefer to customize the message. (the default is "Hello. This user's calls are being screened. Please press 1 to reach the user.") Zoom phone provides ways to customize all the other possible messages you might want, but I can't find any setting to edit this message. How can this message be changed?
I've been asked to improve our ability to host hybrid Zoom (board) meetings. I understand I can buy a bluetooth projector to do this. I would have to work off an iPhone or iPad - not a laptop. Also, the available wifi is not terribly strong. Any suggestions - is this the best way to go?
Will the ZOOM dashboard display the participant's ip address and participant's mac address?
It seems that from the proncuciation of this person's name and because their username combines their first and last name together, AI Companion has added a -le at the end of his name and uses she, her pronouns for him in the summary. Is there anyway to correct this in the meeting settings or to do a quick "find and replace" edit in Zoom docs?
I used to just tell my students: message me, and only me (not use group chat) during a lecture. then after the meeting is done, I see all of the chat messages in the (lokaly recorded) saved text file. Now with the new Chat Funktion: where can i see (after the meeting is over) all of the private messages my students wrote to me?
I am host of an ongoing meeting. The recurring meetings expired, and I tried to reschedule it. Some how it put another ID number to it. i need help to fix it. Also I think I have 2 profiles not sure. Members are joining the old number and it says I already have a session in process. I am joining the meeting from the Home part Join and choosing the meeting on the dropdown box.I am so confused how to fix this. Is there a way to get the zoom ID changed. back to the original
zoom screenshare function become unavailable in mobile phone. In previous day, when I joined a meeting, I can use the function, however when I join another meeting in second day, I couldn't find this function any more. Meanwhile I tried two other iPhones and two Android phones, screenshare function is not available again in all these devices. Anyone can help solve please?

Hello,Thank you for your help in advance.When I make calls via my Zoom desktop client, I cannot get the microphone or audio to work - this is on calls only, in meetings it works fine. I've been using my same mic, headphones, computer, etc. to make calls for months, but now suddenly they stopped working. My audio and microphone still work fine when doing the Zoom "Test" and they even work in Zoom meetings once I turn on the "Join with computer" button in the meeting (even though I do have it checked and enabled already in my settings to do this automatically, which is strange). My audio/mic devices all work completely normally on non-Zoom sites as well. I have turned on sound for musicians in two places, but still when I ring a chime on my phone, people in my Zoom meeting can't hear it. Furthermore I'm finding that when a timer someone in the group has set goes off, that sound is not as clear as before. Lastly, someone messed with the chat feature. It used to be that you would select who to send a message to and it would go direct. Now there are a bunch of tiles and everyone's confused about how to send direct messages. PLEASE HELP!

Hi everyone, I help an advisor during meetings, and he uses Zoom AI Companion for every zoom meeting. Normally the summary is delivered to him, but the last couple of times Zoom AI has just not summarized anything at all from the meeting. Does anyone know what the problem might be here? Thanks,

I host a meeting that has been successful in dual monitor mode twice a day for 4 years. Recently, due to a suggestion, I turned off "screen sharing" in the Zoom online controls both for my Meeting Account and also my Admin Account - to stop members from sharing their screens during a meetings. This somehow turned off my dual monitor mode. It grayed out the option for Dual Screen mode. So now I've turn on Screen Sharing on both he Admin account and the meeting account, and this enabled dual screen mode so I can now select it in the Windows 11 Zoom client. Now - I can go on the Zoom Client, then Settings, then General, I select Dual Monitor Mode and it checks. I can move to Audio Settings and back - and it stays checked. If I close Settings, and reopen settings, it is not checked. And, of course, my friendly head mode does not appear on the 2nd monitor as it had done for so many years. My PC is an i5 and fast and 16gb ram
Our company runs virtual trainings. All of our trainers are users in our Zoom account. When a training is scheduled, we add the Zoom meeting to their user account and they use it to run the training. They are setup as meetings, not webinars. However, none of these trainings show up in the Chat History report. Additionally, no chat history from when any of us use our personal rooms show up on this report either. There are some meetings that show up, but I can't pinpoint what makes them unique. Maybe it's ones that are scheduled through our calendar? All I know for sure is that NONE of the trainings and NONE of our personal room uses show up. We have the auto-save chat setting enabled globally and SOME meetings do show up, even when there was no chat usage on that particular meeting. Can someone please tell me how to transfer ownership of a recurring meeting? We need someone else to take over the meeting going forward, but we don't want to change the ID and password, since it is widely distributed. Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.
All my meetings have the same topic in Zoom. I am unable to edit the meeting topics. Therefore unable to find a specific meeting without searching forever. The suggested solution of editing the topic on the Meeting Summary page does not work. HELP!!
