Hi everyone! I am having a problem and I'm at a loss as to how to solve it. I tutor students online, and Zoom is an important tool I use. I also use Google Drive, and I'm trying to let a young student use Google Drive during the Zoom call. Here's what's happening: This particular student is very young, and has limited technical skills. He has trouble switching between tabs or going to the next slide in Google Slides, or finding his cursor in Docs. I've tried sharing documents and work with him directly, but he can't remember how to get back to the Zoom call's main screen, and he has to get a parent to help every time. He doesn't have a particularly long attention span, even for his age, so we're changing activities frequently. I am trying to find the exact length of time from actual start to finish for a recent zoom meeting. The "Previous Meetings" tab only shows the scheduled times and not the actual time elapsed. Is this information somewhere I might be overlooking or is it just not available? Thanks!

The organization I work for purchased the Zoom Sessions (Pay Per Attendee) plan for up to 50 attendees. I misunderstood the plan and thought it would allow for 50 attendees per session, not per year. We have already used 45 attendees, so we will need to purchase more. When I go to 'Manage Plan' and 'Add More Attendees', you can select a plan for 50, 100, 600, etc. If we purchase one of these plans, is that 50/100/600 attendees in addition to the original 50 we had purchased? There is contradictory information about this online.  On Zoom's advice page for audio transcriptions, it says: Requirements for using audio transcriptionA Pro, Business, Education, or Enterprise accountBut if you look at the Plan Comparison chart, it says transcripts are not available with PRO or PRO PLUS, only with BUSINESS and above. What's the truth?!?!

Trying to record a zoom presentation with just a meeting with myself, but there is no record button. I went into my account and I am the admin but there is still no option in the settings to record .

I am a horse trainer and have the following requirement for Zoom: I would like to record an online training session with the following settings:Only the customer’s screen should be recordedBut the audio recording should include both me and the customerHow can I set this up in Zoom? So far, the recording always shows the screen of the person who is currently speaking. When watching the recording, the view constantly switches back and forth. Hi I have an issue with local recording of a Zoom meeting using immersive view.  Whenever I record a meeting, all my guests are in excellent HD quality, but me, as host, am very blurred and in low quality, as is the immersive background image (which is perfect quality on screen and for everyone else)!  This happens no matter what camera I use, or what computer.  I have tried using an iMac, MacBook Pro and a brand new Mac Studio, but the result is always the same—the recording of the host and background is low quality, whilst the recording of all other guests is perfect.  I have checked that my Zoom setting is set to HD and the account is set to 'Group HD' recording. I would be very grateful if somwone could suggest a fix (or workaround) for this as a matter of urgency. I just created a full year of PowerPoint monthly presentations for our support group, it was my first go at is, and the first meeting in mid-April worked fine.  No when I start a meeting in the desktop app (My Workspace on Zoom) the Share Screen button doesn't even show up.  All the others like invite do.  When I try from online, I get "share is not available for this meeting?

Since I put zoom (PRO account) on my new Lenovo Yoga PC it constantly crashes, mostly when I wake it up, but sometimes also in the middle of the day, while ZOOM is NOT officially working. It's not in the auto-start, it's not open, but something must happen in the background for it to send me a crash report. I rebooted my computer and send crash reports, but it keeps happening quite regularly. Anyone has an idea how I could fix this?

I've noticed that the conversion of a local recorded session uses only CPU and uses no GPU even when there is additional dedicated GPUs in the system.A good enhancement would be to be able to "detect" (or configurable) and "use" at least a CUDA/NVIDIA engines to accelerate the conversion using CPU and GPU (as usually done on any video editor and rendering system)

I teach  via Zoom and I use the Zoom Whiteboard every day.I really like it, but there a some features I would like so see.- a better shape recognition, like other apps eg. goodnotes, noeful... have. - a lasso tool, not only a rectangle- better pdf import- dark toolbar when in darkmode- better writing experience on ipads and with graphics tablets ( pen often gets stuck)Oh, I almost missed one of the most important points!- Ability to set e default font and font sizeIt is really annoying to have to change the font every time I use a new Textbox 

I have a Macbook Pro and every time I schedule a Zoom call Outlook launches.  How can I stop this.  I never use Outlook and wonder how to disable it or in some other way get rid of it? Any advice in layman's terms is appreciated.

I have a zoom account, but use it for a variety of emails and calendars.  I have several emails and calendars due to different clients.   How can I change my settings so I can toggle between various client calendars and therefore emails (when I send invites)

Hello,I am an admin on my company account, and a fellow admin recently noticed that avatars were available for our account. I tried setting one up for myself, and I can see the option to add an avatar in the Zoom app if I'm not logged in. As soon as I log in (necessary to create the avatar), the option disappears. I have checked our account settings and the avatar option is enabled for all users. How can I fix this?Thanks,Lisa

My organization is new to Zoom. We have the Zoom webinars subscription, WITHOUT the webinar resources option. With the webinar software we had previously, we were able to upload a pdf document during meeting set up so that all attendees could access no matter when they joined the call. We no longer have that option. Does anyone have a solution for sharing a link to a pdf file DURING a webinar? We can share it in the chat, but I don't want to have to share it multiple times throughout the webinar for people that login late. Any advice you can provide is helpful!

Hi,I have a question regarding meeting notifications. Suppose the host is Person A, and I am Person B (a co-host). If another attendee (Person C) joins the meeting before both A and B, is it possible for Zoom to send a notification email to B (the co-host), rather than to A (the host)?We’d like someone other than the host to be notified if participants join early. My company is attempting to use the Zoom Team Chat feature on desktops and cellular phones. The features work well except that multiple users complain that Zoom Workplace silently logs user out and they unknowingly miss messages. Our corporate IT team has adjusted the Max Devices setting to 3 per user and hence I do not believe the logouts are related to more than allowed logins.  I also recognize that turning off the phone or updating the app will cause logouts, but neither of those events are taking place. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to prevent these silent logouts on Apple Iphones?

I've created 8 non-recurring meetings. Once the meetings have ended, some appear on the Previous Meeting list while the others do not. I don't believe any account settings were changed during the scheduling process (the account is shared with others in the office). Could it be the meeting IDs expired? But even if a meeting ID expired shouldn't the meeting still show in the Previous Meeting list? I am generating new Meeting IDs when scheduling all the meetings. The next meeting that will likely NOT show on the Previous Meeting list is on June 1, 2025. I'd like to know if there is something I can change NOW before the meeting to ensure it will show on the Previous Meeting list. Thanks!

Hi All, Recently started a new job and I do a lot of work assisting my boss with hiring people. She asked me today to schedule a zoom interview with a job candidate. There will be a panel of 5 people interviewing this candidate. My boss stated in her email to me requesting the scheduling of this zoom interview: “the interview should start about 20 mins before the candidate joins so that we as the panel can get organized.” Is there a way to schedule the meeting so that is starts at let’s say 11am for the interviewers, but 11:20am for the candidate? Thanks so much for any help you can provide! The Virtual background feature of Zoom stopped working on my Windows computer 4 weeks ago and I have absolutely no idea why. It was working very well until then. Anyone can help?
