I have a Macbook Pro and every time I schedule a Zoom call Outlook launches.  How can I stop this.  I never use Outlook and wonder how to disable it or in some other way get rid of it? Any advice in layman's terms is appreciated.

I have a zoom account, but use it for a variety of emails and calendars.  I have several emails and calendars due to different clients.   How can I change my settings so I can toggle between various client calendars and therefore emails (when I send invites)

Hello,I am an admin on my company account, and a fellow admin recently noticed that avatars were available for our account. I tried setting one up for myself, and I can see the option to add an avatar in the Zoom app if I'm not logged in. As soon as I log in (necessary to create the avatar), the option disappears. I have checked our account settings and the avatar option is enabled for all users. How can I fix this?Thanks,Lisa

My organization is new to Zoom. We have the Zoom webinars subscription, WITHOUT the webinar resources option. With the webinar software we had previously, we were able to upload a pdf document during meeting set up so that all attendees could access no matter when they joined the call. We no longer have that option. Does anyone have a solution for sharing a link to a pdf file DURING a webinar? We can share it in the chat, but I don't want to have to share it multiple times throughout the webinar for people that login late. Any advice you can provide is helpful!

Hi,I have a question regarding meeting notifications. Suppose the host is Person A, and I am Person B (a co-host). If another attendee (Person C) joins the meeting before both A and B, is it possible for Zoom to send a notification email to B (the co-host), rather than to A (the host)?We’d like someone other than the host to be notified if participants join early. Is this achievable?Thanks in advance!

My company is attempting to use the Zoom Team Chat feature on desktops and cellular phones. The features work well except that multiple users complain that Zoom Workplace silently logs user out and they unknowingly miss messages. Our corporate IT team has adjusted the Max Devices setting to 3 per user and hence I do not believe the logouts are related to more than allowed logins.  I also recognize that turning off the phone or updating the app will cause logouts, but neither of those events are taking place. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to prevent these silent logouts on Apple Iphones?

I've created 8 non-recurring meetings. Once the meetings have ended, some appear on the Previous Meeting list while the others do not. I don't believe any account settings were changed during the scheduling process (the account is shared with others in the office). Could it be the meeting IDs expired? But even if a meeting ID expired shouldn't the meeting still show in the Previous Meeting list? I am generating new Meeting IDs when scheduling all the meetings. The next meeting that will likely NOT show on the Previous Meeting list is on June 1, 2025. I'd like to know if there is something I can change NOW before the meeting to ensure it will show on the Previous Meeting list. Thanks!

Hi All, Recently started a new job and I do a lot of work assisting my boss with hiring people. She asked me today to schedule a zoom interview with a job candidate. There will be a panel of 5 people interviewing this candidate. My boss stated in her email to me requesting the scheduling of this zoom interview: “the interview should start about 20 mins before the candidate joins so that we as the panel can get organized.” Is there a way to schedule the meeting so that is starts at let’s say 11am for the interviewers, but 11:20am for the candidate? Thanks so much for any help you can provide! The Virtual background feature of Zoom stopped working on my Windows computer 4 weeks ago and I have absolutely no idea why. It was working very well until then. Anyone can help?

I have a Lenovo P14 laptop with Ubuntu 24.04 installed with all updates.  When I open Zoom, my audio is completely dead... going into system settings and trying to test returns silence.  Close Zoom, and sound returns.  I'm at 6.4.10 (2027) and had the same behavior with 6.4.6 (1327) earlier today.  My sound devices are identified as Meteor Lake-P  I'm happy to provide anything that'll help figure this out.

So, this is a weird one. We have a regularly scheduled monthly Webinar. We have several panelists, and many attendees. One of the panelists, lets call her Liz, suddenly cannot be heard or seen.  Everything was fine for a year, now the last 2 months we have a problem. Now to be clear, she has a computer with no camera. But she used to show up on the VIEW as a place holder with her name, and when she spoke the view would kick over and we could hear her.  Now the image holder of her is gone, and we cant hear her.  Weirder still, she shows up in the list you can open over to the side, but not in the viewer. Any thoughts?

When I click on the Zoom meeting link it takes roughly 2 minutes to connect to the meeting. As a result I am always late.  What can be done to reduce the delay?

Hello, we currently want to enable users to automatically register for our webinars under certain conditions and receive invitation emails.Our current process involves extracting these users' email addresses and names daily, compiling them into a CSV file, and then importing it.We would like to automate user registration using methods officially permitted by Zoom. I am setting up a webinar and have entered some required questions into the registration page which have an asterisks next to them. However, when I go to download the details of the people who have registered none of them have filled out this part and I can see none of this data. I was wondering if there is some error in my set up. I have even entered my own details into this form and answered the questions and it has not recorded them in the exportable csv. Thanks

I turned off avatar in settings but avatars are still enabled. Please help.

In my online Zoom account, under settings, I have "Waiting Room" turned off. However, when I set up a meeting (it doesn't matter if it is a scheduled meeting or a "start meeting" where I then send an invite link to people) people are put in a waiting room. We're just trying out zoom for a new business, so apparently, I don't have access to either phone or chat support, so I'm hoping this community can help. Thoughts on how to fix this? Success is simply that when people join a meeting, they get right in without having to wait in a room and be admitted, regardless of if it is a scheduled meeting or a start now-type meeting. Thanks for any help.

How do I block bots like fireflies.ai notetaker from my calls? How are these bots not wiretapping???

Hey there - seeking reassurance. I am leading a workshop in a while. In the past, when I've hosted, I've been able to open and close meetings, setting up whatever, via a "Join meeting" or "Launch meeting" button thing. Now, though, despiute seeing this in my schedule, along with confirmation that i'm the host, no "Join" or "Launch" option is available, and instead I need to to access the room by putting in the Meeting ID. Should I be worried? Or has the way we access rooms changed during some update?

I see this pretty consistently in the Web UI: - In a meeting, have people chat (enough for the chat pane to scroll)- Make sure there are replies to chat messages in threads- Scroll to the bottom of the chat pane (or be anywhere really, including scroll up and down while the next step happens)- Have someone else add a chat message anywhere- Observer that chat pane jumps up automatically every time there is a new message It looks like Zoom is _trying_ to keep the chat pane focused on the same place when it refreshes with new messages, but miscalculates the scroll position. Given that the jump is always upwards, it's almost as if it doesn't take the reply-in-threads into account when calculating scroll position.

I can't use AI on the Zoom whiteboard I created before becoming a premium user. It says upgrade your plan. I upgraded my plan today 🙂 I can use AI on documents but I still can't use it on whiteboards. It still says upgrade your plan for whiteboards. And it doesn't use AI on the new ones I create either. Locked!
