During a meeting I can only use a virtual background or the light blue plain screen that is on my background. Cannot use my camera’s background.
I am trying to remove an old version of Zoom to update to a newer verison, but in doing so, I receive the following error: The file "C:\WINDOWS\TEMP\WinGet\defaultState\Zoom.Zoom.6.3.52884\ZoomInstallerFull.msi" is not a valid installation package for the product Zoom Workplace (64-bit). Try to find the installation package 'Zoominstallerfull.msi' in a folder from which you can install Zoom Workplace (64-bit)." I have downloaded the most recent available version of the MSI and placed it into this folder, but this also does not work. I am in need of the msi installer for this particular version to proceed with removal and updating.
Hi! I'm a student and I recently bought a pretty budget-friendly tablet, Redmi Pad 2, and it has Helio G100 processor, and it doesn't have an option to change background. Does my device's processor or system cannot/ does not support changing my virtual background during meetings? TYIA!
I am requesting immediate help with two recurring issues that are impacting our meetings. I have already contacted support multiple times, but I have not received a resolution.Issue 1: Unknown third party participant joining our meetingsEvery time my boss and I join a Zoom meeting, a random third party participant joins automatically. It appears as a blank or black tile and shows the name “company”. We have disabled AI Companion and auto-recording across our settings, but this participant still joins even after turning those features off. This is a serious security and privacy concern, and we need to understand exactly what this participant is and how to permanently prevent it from joining any meeting.Issue 2: Auto-framing will not stay disabledAuto-framing keeps turning on or staying active even after I disable it. I was able to have the Waiting Room feature disabled. I was playing with some setting, now there is a Waiting Room for the participants. I can't seem to get the Waiting Room disabled again. I use PMI with Instant Meetings, so I am not scheduling the meetings. I clicked the Disable Waiting Room button, but that doesn’t seem to work. Any ideas?

This is hands down the worst software I’ve used since the 80’s. I have 6 computers in my home. Only one of them connects to a meeting without audio or video issues. And one of them Zoom Workplace pretty reliably causes a near instant Windows crash. I’m baffled what to do because that one computer is on its last legs. The troubleshooting advice only advises I check obvious things that I’ve already checked. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
I am a basic user, Version: 6.4.3 (52139), Mac Pro. I am trying to turn off the blue screen background, which I presume is a virtual background. I'm not even sure how I got one. Changing virtual background to None does nothing. Trying to follow instructions to change the background have gotten me nowhere. I tried following the instruction "As an admin (logged in), navigate to zoom.us/account/setting, then Meeting -> In Meeting (Advanced)You'll find the following options for your entire org's account, including 'Require user s to always use virtual background'. Disable this and unlock the virtual background setting if this is locked." I am not "authorized" although I am the sole owner of the account. The sound was being shared properly, I could hear it. Everyone else could hear it. One user reported that he can hear all peoples microphones but was unable to hear the shared content. The dashboard does not show any indication of an audio problem. It was music for what that is worth. What could cause this?
I have been escalating the issue to get things urgently going for text from Canada to Canada. Its at the stage that we would need an official update to understand. Not just “Rest assured”.
There used to be a feature where the meeting Host could lower all participants hands and it disappeared recently. We use it a lot for Voting after the Host has counted all the Votes (Hands) he can lower them for the next round. But it has gone and we can not find it anywhere, where has it gone please
I'm using the Zoom client app on macOS and I have two valid Zoom accounts; one I use for an organization and the other is my personal free one. The latter used to be linked to a different Email address which I've since deleted, but when in the Zoom app and when I click on my account icon in the upper right hand corner and select the "Switch account" option, I see three accounts ... the two valid ones and a 3rd for the now nonexistent Email address. There's not a Zoom account for the invalid address because I changed the Email address for my person account to the now good one, so I have no way to log into Zoom with the old address to delete the account. I'm just looking for a way to remove that from showing up in the client app.
I am running a webinar with over 5000 participants and would like to track how many groups/organizations join. This is above the number of allowed registrations. However, I was wondering if it is possible for each organization to register, then share that unique join link with their group of 20 participants. How many devices can join on each link? I see that there is a limit of number of devices per Zoom account, but what about for a registration in which you only need your email address to join? Thanks!

Hi, just joined the community. I wanted to find out if there is a way to request for the following feature: 1) Host to be able to click a button an automatically capture a picture of all the attendees (perhaps in a grid). Right now, someone has to manually screen capture each page, and this is tedious. 2) Can the host have feature to mute only participants, leaving the co-hosts' mute settings unaffected? Thanks.
Screen recording of a powerpoint presentation on Samsung S11 Ultra Tab. Create meeting (audio on, camera off...recorded no problem with camera off previously) Open presentation Share screen (presentation only...or whole screen...doesn’t matter, recorded both before) Start recording Go to presentation and lecture for an hour End recordingThis worked the other day but most recent recorded video flashed the shared presentation for half a second and then went completely black. Almost an hour of video lecture notes gone with audio only. WTH!?!?!
So, I was going to post a problem with my zoom, where every time I used anything other than meetings, it threw up an error code along the lines of ABC12345-0x26-0000-0000-00-08-00(ABC12345 is the changing part), and I realized that I deleted the MSEdgeWebView2.exe file. So, I had to reset my computer(factory reset). This is a PSA to EVERY ZOOM USER: Don’t delete MSEdgeWebView2 under any circumstance.
It would be really great to be able to search for projects. I have al lot of projects and is really a pain that I have every time to go through them all to find the one I am looking for.I would also love to have pressure sensitivity while drawing something.The Ipad UI for whiteboards is now messed up. The drawing space on IPads is now smaller, it has become way to small because of the new layout.Please change that.
After searching diligently thru prior conversations for annotation controls, I've run across things like this: In the navigation panel, click Account Management then Account Settings.Click the Meeting tab.Under In Meeting (Basic), verify that Annotation is enabled.I have no idea what the navigation panel is (there's nothing labelled as such), and I'm unable to find anything called "account management", "account settings", a "meeting" tab, or an "in meeting (basic)" item. I can locate "Settings" under the "Zoom Workplace" menu, but nothing in the resultant window refers to any of the above, let alone annotation controls. I don't want my users scribbling all over my screen during my presentation, but I can't find any way to turn off that ability. I'd expect it to be one of the items in the sidebar of the "Settings" window, but it's not. Where is it?

We have a few people in our organization who do not like using the Waiting Room, so our Admin team who have Scheduling Privileges have taken to disabling the Waiting Room when they make everyone appointments.I prefer to use the Waiting Room and have it Enabled in my settings. But the Scheduled Meeting seems to override this. Is there a setting where I can maintain control of my own Waiting Room to be ALWAYS enabled?I had an incident this morning logging in 15 mins early to test my settings and get my slides ready, only to discover 2 people already in the meeting waiting for me! I had to make small talk 🤣
Hi, I have been using zoom workplace on linux for a couple of years for my professional use (trainings) and use extensively screen sharing of apps, browser tabs, pdf etc during zoom meeting.With new version of zoom workplace 6.7.2 (6498) on linux mint 22.3 , it is not working anymore. When I want to scren share I get the option between system desktop capture or system window capture but non of them share anything. Doesn’t work.In order to share I have to start meetings, or join meetings from the browser, and then it works. When will this be bug fixed for Linux workplace version, and is there a workaround ?
