Hello, I have a zoom business paid account. I am trying to create a meeting in my outlook calendar and assign an alternative host that is someone that has a free zoom account outside of my organization. Is this possible? It gives me an error that says that the person is outside of my organization and that I cannot proceed with making them an alternative host. Any help is appreciated! Thank you!

Hi, I recently purchased a Mac Mini and an Apple Studio Monitor. Today was the first Zoom session. I have no video at all. Audio is fine. I updated Zoom. Zoom tech messaging requested that permission be established in Apple System Settings > Privacy and Security > Camera setting for Zoom is on. Still no video. Microphone is also ON and performs. No phone support. Video Assistant is unable to understand this sitation, which is disappointing. So this appears to be the only possible support option at this time.
My meetings are being automatically recorded locally instead of in the cloud, despite the fact that my settings are set to record to the cloud. I have gone to https://us06web.zoom.us/, logged in, chose "settings" on the left sidebar, and clicked into the "recording" tab. Under Automatic Recording, it is toggled ON and "record in the cloud" is selected. I also have the "Host can pause/stop the auto recording in the cloud" box checked, if that makes a difference. When I start a Zoom meeting, it starts recording automatically.However, when I end the meeting, the recording processes and saves locally. I thought perhaps it was saving locally AND to the cloud, but there's nothing in my Cloud Recordings area.How can I solve this problem and get the recordings to actually save to the cloud? I am using a 2021 MacBook Pro, running Monterey 12.7.5, and Zoom Version: 6.1.0 (35886). I have tried turning the automatic recording off and back on, switching
TIME-SENSITIVE QUESTION -- The link to the registration page works from a laptop, but the link from a smartphone or ipad takes you right to the Zoom meeting. I need the link to go to the registration page from ALL devices. What do I need to fix?

If enabled, Zoom displays reminders (notifications) of upcoming Zoom meetings, which is nice. However, Zoom also displays reminders of non-Zoom calendar events from Outlook. (See screenshot of example.) Outlook provides its own reminders. I don't want double reminders of non-Zoom calendar events. How can I turn off the Zoom reminders of non-Zoom Outlook calendar events?
I'm having a strange audio issue. I'm in a meeting where one user has a conference microphone in a room, and occasionally, the sound from the room starts repeating. As in, someone from the room will say "oh wow okay", and immediately after other users will hear "oh wow okay" again, identically, coming from the same room. Weirdly, it's not just the audio that's repeating - we're also seeing the repetition in the transcript: "0 wow, okay, oh wow, okay". It happens with incidental noises in the room as well. As far as we can tell, no other users in the meeting are having this problem when they are speaking. We fixed it once for the room by ending and restarting the Zoom meeting, but now after several restarts, we're still getting this repetition. I'm trying not to call it an "echo" because it's not like the feedback loop you'd get from a speaker getting picked up on a mic in the same room - it's sporadic repeats of words and sounds. Hi all! For probably a year or so I have had the following problem: After some time of listening to other participants and thus having been silent, when I start speaking there is a delay until my microphone kicks in which means the others do not hear the first few words I say which, needless to say, quickly becomes annoying. It happens across at least three laptops and reinstalling the app does not seem to help, nor does changing the headset I use. Has anyone experienced this problem, and if so, is there a fix? Alex
I'm testing out Zoom phone service, and in the setup process, I'd like to add custom .wav files to the options that users can select from for their ringtone. I uploaded a .wav file via the vvx450's web interface, but once I add the url to the recommended Zoom provisioning server, it gets wiped from the phone. Is there a simple way to create a template that lets me include ringtones for users?
The new user interface hides the most important part. Logging in and setting up meetings! One day I found it under Preferences. Today I found it under Settings. I should have to click more than once to open up this feature. Please make it obvious! Thanks!
I had a client call today I created via Zoom. I use Fathom to record the meeting. What I learned is that during the meeting I couldn't find how to stop Fathom. What I discovered is that after the meeting there was no Fathom recording. BUT, the client is using the Read tool. It tookover the meeting recording. And, it recorded after the client left the meeting so the client got to here our private conversation. This is incredible.

These aren’t just small-time operations; they are large-scale financial recruitment schemes with public warnings issued by authorities like New Zealand’s FMA, Australia’s ASIC, the State of California’s DFPI, and others. If you go to YouTube and search for RainBNB, RideBNB, We Are All Satoshi, or Infinity Pi DAO, you’ll see they are still actively recruiting members via Zoom-hosted meetings. I have personally submitted over 120 Zoom links related to these activities, many of them supported by official documents showing that these schemes have already been flagged. Wanting some help with configuring the W80DM in a Mesh set up with the W80bs connecting back to the W80DM. From what I have found on the FAQs it asks you to register the W80bs back to the W80DM. So I have completed this. But when looking to add the handsets I quickly realised that I need sip accounts for these devices? So my question is how am I meant to set this up as there is nothing documented on how to do this and yet all FAQs list the devices as supported? The W57R handsets have IPUI addresses but not mac addresses so the Alternative was to use the other device option within Zoom but that asks for a Mac address which this device does not have. I assume I need to put the User email and password into the SIP account for this to work but I want an answer before I go back to the customer to try something that wont work
I have an urgent problem. I have already raised this, but I absolutely need this solved. Windows forced us to switch to Windows 11. The very day I did that, sound started cutting out in Zoom (can't hear anything at all). I know it is Windows 11 because the problem corresponds exactly with the moment I switched. This is a professional risk for me that I cannot afford. I am an interpreter and use Zoom (client's preference) almost on a daily basis. This sound cutting out happens every single time. And again I know it was Windows 11 because I used Zoom just as frequently before making the switch, so it was immediately noticeable. When setting up my webinar, I selected "Automatically record to the cloud." However, once the webinar concluded, the recording was not there and the "automatically record" was not selected. I would assume that Zoom has the recording somewhere - How can I recover my webinar?
I am both a leader and a participant in zoom meetings. I am using a laptop computer for zooming. In either roll my screen shows only a gray background with a little locked symbol. I've tried to follow all of the suggested solutions with no luck. I am able to participate with audio, but no video. Please! Can someone tell me what to do to unlock my video? Thank you so much!! 🙂
In some meetings that I host I cannot copy the contents of the chat. For example to copy someone's email address that they share in the chat. Is there a setting I'm missing? This used to just work and now it has stopped. Now the only option on my right-click menu is "Select All". (Using Windows 10) Thank you.
