Hello. I have a 2017 MacBook with Ventura 13.7.8 OS. Per the system, my OS is updated. Please confirm with me if this is compatible in using virtual backgrounds? I have tried everything but the system will not let me change my background nor I have the option to blur my background.
This morning, I recorded a very important conference, and while I was converting the file, AVAST blocked the process for suspected fraudulent activity from ZOOM on my computer. So all I have now is the beginning of the file that was converted (about 115 Mo out of a total of 482) The strorage vas made on my computer Mac Book Air and I looked everywhere for the orignal recording before the aborted file conversion, including in the trash but I cannot find it anywhere. Any hints as to where it could be? Does ZOOM keep a record of recordings somewhere for a limited time ? This happened yesterday Tuesday at 2pm Atlantic time. Hi everyone! Well... The title pretty much explains everything! Thing is, I'm aBasisc / Non-Paying Customer, and can't ask this to the bot thingy... 🤨🫤😶 So... I'm looking for any HUMAN here to help... If you guys have been through the same problem. In the cell/ tablet app: There's this collapsible tab on the lower left side where you can turn on the volume to share the sound when you're on the "Share Screen" option. That works just fine when I want to share stuff on YouTube. But if I want to share the audio while on any given page while on a browser, like Chrome, then that feature doesn't work. If anyone has any ideas on that, I'd be eternally grateful! I've tried to explain this to the bot but it just kind of 'short circuit' (in a non-literal) way... And Basic Customers don't get to talk to humans if we need help... 🫤🥺😶 so... that's why I'm here... Can anyone help, please?

The 11th Judicial Circuit of Florida is the nation's 3rd largest Judicial Circuit and it is currently using Zoom as its' platform of choice for Court hearings since the pandemic broke out. You all have been a great asset not just to the state of Florida but to its' citizens. I'm hoping this discussion sheds light and hopefully fixes a limitation we are experiencing with the interpretation system in zoom.As you can imagine, here in South Florida we have heavy demand of language interpretation services from the courts. Currently, our staff have to instruct all attendees needing interpretation through a 4 button selection process in order to get them to the proper channel so they can hear the SpanishCreole language channel. This is highly disruptive to the court case and even if taken aside (breakout room) it is still requiring extra time and effort from court staff. It would be highly beneficial to the citizens of Florida if the court staff (Host, Co-Host and/or the Assigned Interpreter)

im trying to configure zoom but none of the microphones work on my win11 hp, it keeps opening microphone settings, but zoom is not listed in microphone settings. i cant join or host any zoom meetings where my microphone will work. how do i fix this, or get my microphone to work on zoom, it works on other apps just fine.

I use Zoom to teach senior fitness classes. I use my MacBook for the camera and mic and I hook it up with an HDMI cord to my big screen tv so I can see a larger screen. Then, when I play music with Spotify on. my laptop, the sound comes through my tv and my participants can hear me talk and the music as well. All of a sudden, they can hear me, but NO music at all! So I decided to play music with my phone sitting next to the laptop, and they couldn't hear that either. But they can still hear ME loud and clear! Finally, I took my phone, playing the music as loud as possible with me and put it next to my mouth. When I talked, they could hear me, but no music. What the heck?? Can Zoom possibly be able to filter out any music and just allow voices on audio to be heard by participants?????

Hi everybody,I am using the Zoom Whiteboard on a daily basis and I like it so far.I used to use Goognotes or Onenote for my purposes, but the Zoom Whiteboard has some features, I really like.A better writing and drawing experience on Ipads would be great and also a true dark mode ( toolbar is always white even in dark mode). There seems to be a new hold-for shape-feature, which is really great, besides that is still too slow.I am not talking about the smart draw feature, which I have toggled off, it is really a hold-to-shape function, but both have the same problem. When I use one of those functions and draw a line next to another object it always converts my line into an arrow or something else. Is there any way to disable that, so that I will always just get a line and not an arrow?Thank you.
Hi, this post is more for curiosity. I'm wondering if I am in a tiny minority of people who have a large number of "No Fixed Time" meetings. This is because we have many clients with whom we "hop on a call" on short notice, at varying times. This use case seems to be a real second-class citizen, in that, a. You can't create such meetings from the desktop appb. The whole page is wasted space for me - see screenshot. I have to scroll down, click the tiny "Recurring meetings" link, and then scroll down through my many meetings to find one (alpha-sorted of that list was restored in - thanks!). Most of the screen is used with the beach umbrella and "no meetings scheduled, enjoy your day". (I don't have any meetings SCHEDULED, but unfortunately in my situation, that isn't automatically a beach day... sigh.) If this is indeed a low priority use case, that's fine, but I have one small suggestion: at the top of this page can there be a simple one-line quick search box? That way I can

I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the “Allow all users to remotely check in/out through their Zoom account” setting.Currently, this option is only available at the Workspaces level, but we believe it would be much more flexible if it could also be configured at the Floor level. This would allow administrators to tailor the check-in experience based on the needs of each floor — for example, enabling QR code-only check-in on one floor, and allowing both app and QR code check-in on another.Right now, the setup feels a bit rigid, and adding this option to the Floor settings would greatly improve usability and adaptability across different office layouts and workflows.We hope the development team can consider this enhancement in future updates.
hello, I have recorded 72 clips and after editing, the sound and video doesn't match up.I am using a fairly new Mac air laptop, normally I have no issues with editing Loom clips, or editing other video content generally.I have tried playing the clips on my iPhone 16, with and without wifi, but if I try to watch the clip and select a certain point in the video eg 2mins into the playing, the sound and video don't match for the rest of the clip. I tried downloading the clip - the video and sound are not synced in the downloaded file.My clients would need to access these clips for learning purposes.I am faced with having to re-record EVERYTHING again, or change to use the app called Loom.Please help me with any suggestions.
(My subject line is a quote from the Zoom instructions.) I'm on a research team using Zoom audio transcripts for hour-long research interviews. We're finding the quality of the audio transcription to be very good. However, the frequency of what Zoom calls "sections" is extreme -- sometimes every two seconds, even though the speaker hasn't changed. I can understand having a section each time a speaker changes, but what we're experiencing is much more frequent. It makes the transcripts much less readable. However, deleting hundreds of timestamps for every transcript seems quite a waste of time. Has anyone else found a way to avoid the extreme frequency of these timestamps? As a related curiosity, under Advanced Cloud Recording Settings there's a setting for "add a timestamp to the recording," which I've always had as unselected. Since the frequent timestamps appear anyway, maybe I should experiment and check that setting just to see what happens. If it's an "opposites" sett
I have a transcript from an important Meetings conversation that is broken into so many time stamps that the transcript is near useless because I'll need to spend a long time deleting and combining phrases to create complete sentences. It has broken everything into short phrases, many just two or three words, before adding another one. I was poking around to see if I could regenerate the transcript, and so far do not see how to do that. In the process, I discovered that I actually have the option to allow a time stamp for cloud recordings unchecked. So I would think I should not even be getting them. So two questions: why am I getting time stamps with this turned off, and is there a way to fix this current transcript?
When scheduling a meeting in the Zoom Workplace desktop app (v6.6.2), the attendee search field gets stuck loading and then turns into a blank white box. The app does not technically go into “Not Responding,” but it becomes unusable and requires ending the task through Task Manager. This seems to happens when the app tries to pull contact suggestions from the user’s Google integration. Typing certain letters (like C) eventually returns results after about 10 seconds of loading, while others (like J) trigger the freeze. The Zoom web portal does not experience the freeze but also doesn’t provide any attendee auto-suggestions — it requires typing full email addresses manually. Hi, I've recorded a zoom clip that has a transcript which is visible from the URL. I'm able to download the clip but the download doesn't have the transcript. On my web portal, I can see the clip under "clips" but can't see it under "recordings" and i'm not able to download the transcript this way.How can I resolve downloading my transript ?

I was recording a meeting. After the meeting ended and it was time to convert it to mp4, I got a message that said something around "there's another conversion happening, after it ends go to your account and convert it from there." The message was true; a previous meeting recording was being converted. I pressed okay but the thing is I didn't sign in to enter that meeting so I can't find it on my account. Please help, I need to send that recording to someone as fast as possible.
