Hi Zoom Folks, So this was working but has broken again in the past month or so. It was working fine at some point before 6.2.3.2056. Sorry for not being exact but this also coincided with a hardware error on my old laptop (since replaced). The issue that I'm seeing is reported here but for the record it seem like zoom is now trying to use (/usr/libexec/xdg-desktop-portal:297866): xdg-desktop-portal-WARNING **: 22:51:56.438: A backend call failed: No such interface “org.freedesktop.impl.portal.RemoteDesktop” on object at path /org/freedesktop/portal/desktopXDP: remote desktop session owned by ':1.549' closed** (/usr/libexec/xdg-desktop-portal:297866): WARNING **: 22:51:56.438: Failed to close session implementation: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Object does not exist at path “/org/freedesktop/portal/desktop/session/1_549/zoomcast I've tried also using GNOME under wayland but still get the same behaviour. Cheers Steve
Hi,Is anyone having audio issues on the zoom app after Windows 11 upgrade?I have tried different headsets and checked all the audio settings but my headset wont work on the zoom app.It works fine when attending zoom meeting on the web.
No option to change Audio output source on latest Android version; Upper left hand corner audio output option missing and no setting in menu/settings menu to change it on latest Android version. Can confirm zoom finally fixed issue with toolbar obit containing mute button; only took a month, ridiculous.
ever since we started using the dual-screen feature on Zoom, we've always had a clean second screen. However, since an update to Zoom Workplace sometime in 2024, an 'Exit Full Screen' button now persistently appears in the upper-right corner. This is frustrating because it prevents a clean video feed. How can I get rid of that 'Exit Full Screen' button?
I want to be able to share screen more than one application at a time when I'm in a Zoom meeting. But my Zoom only lets me share screen with one application at a time. If I want to switch between applications I'm screen sharing, I have to first close out of the first screen share, then start a new screen share. This is really annoying and time consuming and distracting when I'm trying to lead a meeting. Please advise!Thank you
I'm using "All Screens" mode in Zoom to proctor an exam for about 30 students. Is there a way to record the session--that is, is there a way to record all of the shared screens? I know that in All Screens mode, only 3 shared screens will show up in a window at a time, and you have to toggle left and right to see other screens. Can Zoom record the entire session--the toggling back and forth of shared screens? I'd like to be able to review the shared screens after the exam, since it's impossible to do so for that many people during the exam time. Thanks!
Hi,in meetings, when a user shares the screen to show a video, I have audio problems. I can listen to the words of the video, the dialogues, but not the musical tones. I can't listen to tones other than words and this happens to me even during normal meetings without anyone sharing the video.I hear the dialogues between people but not the different tones. How can I solve it?Is this a Zoom settings issue or is it a my PC settings issue?Thank you very muchWalter
When I try to share my computer audio during a meeting, I can click on the "share computer audio" option while sharing my screen, however no check box appears to indicate that my computer audio has been shared. This was never an issue until a few months ago when Zoom installed a software update. I have not changed my process at all, and yet I can't seem to get it working. I'm running a PC and sharing audit for Youtube videos. Any help?
Hello everyone, I have Zoom One Profissional.I started a meeting today and unfortunately the other person was running awfully late. I had to wait for a while and after 40 minutes this notification came up and the meeting was closed. The other person had to cancel so I wasn't able to test my account again. Is anyone able to tell me why this happened if I'm paying for the Zoom One Profissional plan?Thank you all for your time.
I really need to know this. I appreciate your answer
Why does the sound quality of other apps get impacted when participating in a Zoom meeting (even when muted)? Is there a way to fix this or work around it? BackgroundI regularly host drop-in Zoom meetings (e.g., office hours for an instructor). Often, the Zoom meeting will be empty unless someone drops in to get help. While waiting for someone to join, I am often doing other things including listening to music, watching a video, or similar (which I pause/stop when someone joins). I am always muted when doing this. The audio is great when Zoom is not in a meeting. However, as soon as I join a Zoom meeting, the audio quality of the non-Zoom apps drop significantly. As soon as I close the Zoom meeting, the audio quality returns to normal. I have tried changing audio settings in various ways (including selecting all of the various options in the "Audio Profile" section of the Audion settings) and have not seen any specific improvements.&nb
I bought a new computer and updated it to Windows 11. It works fine for listening to music and making calls online. However, with Zoom, I can hear the other person's voice, but I can't hear what they're saying. I have the noise canceling turned down, and the speaker settings are not up to snuff. What should I do? I can hear with Bluetooth earphones, but wired earphones and the built-in speaker make for a perfect meeting experience.

Hi, when creating a new meeting, I'm not able to save it as I get an error "Execute SQL error, method PRIMARY MeetingOccuranceInfoMapper.getItems, rawSQL: SELECT meeting_number, occurance, account_id, meeting_id, create_time, modify_time FROM ZMWEB_MEETING_OCCURANCE_INFO WHERE meeting_number = # {meetingNumber}" I'm filling all fields as usually, in the web browser. Can anyone help or advise? It's quite urgent.

@608130 "What's New with Zoom Events | January 2024" Today I went to schedule a few new meetings. I went to confirm them in my Meetings list. However, only the first one would appear. There was a "new feature" that will only show you your scheduled meetings within a "Selected Time Frame". You are required to amend the "Selected Time Frame" in order to view your scheduled meetings. So, I clicked on the screen to change the "Selected Time Frame". However, Zoom changes whatever date you choose for *both* dates, not one, then it will only show you the scheduled meetings for that *one* individual date. The AI Bot in the chat box had no answers. I'm guessing someone else has experienced this and/or has a workable solution. Primarily, how does one change the dates within the Selected Time Frame so you only have one date change at a time (instead of both changing to the selected date)? Here are my secondary quest
We have a conference room set up with big screen, camera, and mic/speaker on the table. When someone wants to use this for a Zoom meeting, they connect the cables - but they also have to change Zoom's settings for camera, mic, and speaker. When they go back to their desk or on the road and want to use Zoom, they have to change Zoom's settings again. This is a) cumbersome, and b) hard for some of our technically-challenged users to cope with. Is there any way to switch between groups of settings? Spelunking through AppData, it appears that settings are buried in a number of database files. (I was hoping for an ini or json file)
After a terrible ordeal with porting my number, it is finally completed. But all calls go straight to voicemail. I cannot figure out from the chat or instructions how to receive calls. Ideally, I'd like all call to forward to my cell phone to answer it directly. I set up 3rd party number (my cell) in several locations and the most recent I tried said it can't go to 3rd party numbers. It is just me. I have a Pro account.
Hi everyone,I’m using Zoom on a Mac and had previously uploaded a custom background image. I’ve deleted the image, tried resetting my settings, uninstalled Zoom (even using Terminal and deleting library files), and reinstalled everything fresh. But the background still appears in every meeting — even though it shows as “None.” It’s like the image is permanently stuck and now labeled as “None.” Has anyone experienced this? Any tips to fully wipe the background from my account or force Zoom to refresh the virtual backgrounds? Thanks in advance!Sandra B1.
I am trying to set up a Zoom meeting on the App. Under zoom meeting invitation. From Email does not exist . It is not the same email I sign on Zoom .How do I change the “From email” permentlly?
I've just downloaded the zoom app on my smartphone which is running stock android 10, without personalization of the manufacturer. I joined 2 meetings and in both of them I encountered this issue. The audio output of the meeting is from the internal speaker (I mean the smaller speaker on top of the phone that is being used in calls with the phone at your ear). Also, when I turn on the volume while I am in a meeting on zoom, the phone automatically picks the "call" volume, not the "media" volume. It is impossible to use the app this way because even at the highest volume the sound is too low. I feel like the sound should output from the hands-free speaker (the main speaker on the bottom of the phone) which has a lot higher volume than the internal speaker, but I haven't found any setting in the app to change the audio output. How can I solve this issue?
Hello, I am looking for ways to better customize the email templates that are sent out via Zoom upon registration, reminder, and post webinar emails. Similar t what Webinar Jam does. Is there a way to do this?
Hello,I am using Zoom on my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G).On sharing screen, I oppend in my Cellphone an App called Youcut. When I share the screen during a meeting using Share → Screen and enable Share device audio, the participants can see the App but cannot hear any sound. Here are the details:Android version: Android 15Zoom app version: 6.65.34303I have already given microphone permissions and enabled Share sound. The media volume is turned up and no Bluetooth audio device is connected. The issue occurs whether I am connected via Wi-Fi or mobile data.Could you please advise if there is any known issue with device audio sharing on Android, or a specific setting required for Samsung Galaxy devices?Thank you,Boaz Oren
