This doesn't seem possible currently, but I would like to be able to create "breaks" in the business hours in Zoom. For example, I would like to be able to set my hours from 8am to 12pm, and 1pm to 5pm, each day so my phone doesn't ring while I'm on lunch. Granted, I can set to DND but I have a more unique example where that's not the best option. We are a university and faculty have different class times where they don't want to receive calls on their computers while in class. Sure they can set DND while in class, but if they don't remember to set it, they will get a call in the middle of class. It seems like it would be useful to be able to set multiple business hours for each day. Does anyone else have a suggestion?

I just bought a new Samsung phone. I cannot connect to my car's Bluetooth audio through the Zoom app at all. It is very frustrating. I cannot find an audio setting in either the app or website that helps. My Bluetooth audio is working perfectly for evey other app.

I have green lines/boxes showing up randomly during screen sharing.I have turned off “Show Green border around my shared content”, and I have disabled “Use hardware acceleration for video sharing.” This did not solve the problem.It is not consistent, and I cannot readily replicate it. The lines come and go randomly. I am sharing a Lightroom Library, and the lines show up as horizontal lines that extend across most of the screen with some vertical lines at the edge to form open boxes. I’d guess the lines are about 10 pixels thick. They are not in alignment with the picture grid or any underlying borders/boundariesin Lightroom.I have the latest OS and app software as of September 2026. I am running on a Mac Studio, sharing with one remote colleague. I’ll try to get a screenshot next time it happens

Hi everyone,Today I had a masterclass of almost three hours, and I'm trying to understand and get some help to recover a portion of my recording.I experienced this issue today 9/7/26 during a Zoom meeting.I was given permission by the host  to record and save to my computer as always, However, during the meeting, the recording stopped on its own and I restarted it about a second later. This happened once when we were about 2 ½ hours in the class.  As a result, the final recording was supposed to be split split into two separate files of different lengths, but I can only find the second part of the recording. .I'm absolutely certain I didn’t manually stop or pause the recording, and I didn’t change any settings during the session. Please help as I have to prepare for an exam this coming week.Has anyone else experienced this?  I blocked someone and then deleted their chat but now we settled the issue and we've been trying to talk but I cant unblock because I can't find their contact and when they try sending a friend request to me I can't see it, I hope zoom can come up with a solution for this issue.

Hi zoom support, I need help understanding/resolving an issue with my Zoom Workplace Pro subscription.Here is what happened:I had previously cancelled my Zoom Workplace Pro plan in July, and the plan was supposed to expire in August.Today, September 8, 2026, I decided to renew/reactivate my Pro plan.However, I mistakenly used an old renewal/expiration link from August instead of starting a new renewal from today.I completed the payment of ₹1,743.36 via UPI. My bank shows the payment as successfully debited to ZVC India Pvt Ltd, and I also received a Zoom email saying “Payment processed” for ₹1,743.36 via UPI.The checkout page showed the plan as an annually billed monthly plan, with the next charge date shown as October 8, 2026.The problem is that my Zoom Pro subscription has not been reactivated.My account is still showing the plan as ended/cancelled, and it shows an end date around September 3, which also seems incorrect because the previous subscription should have ended in August.Mo

Bulk deletion for saved notes and files in My Files is missing or unclear. Having to delete each meeting individually after transcribing. Hopefully the Developer can add a Select All → Delete/Move to Trash option for easier management.

I regularly host online teaching sessions on Zoom and frequently use breakout rooms so that students can work in smaller groups.My breakout room settings are configured so that participants automatically join their assigned breakout rooms when I open the rooms. Most of the time, this works as expected.Occasionally, however, a participant does not join the assigned breakout room. On my Breakout Rooms panel, the participant's status then shows as “Not Joined”. The participant remains in the Main Room and is able to speak to me and ask for assistance in joining the assigned breakout room.This creates a problem.When I click on the name of a participant whose status is “Not Joined”, Zoom displays the “Move to” option, but only allows me to move that participant to one of the other breakout rooms. I just logged into try and schedule some meetings and the whole interface has been changed.  I go to click on meetings and it gives me the option to "host" or "join" a meeting....  Sigh.....  Where the heck did they move the dashboard when you used to log into your account and it launched right then and there.  Now it's filled with all sorts of garbage promoting more services to buy that don't interest me and clutter up my screen. And, where do you request support to chat with a support agent?  I'm not interested in their stupid AI bots. I don't understand why they have to make things harder.

The official Zoom 7.1.5.4332 RPM has dependency issues on openSUSE Tumbleweed. It requires mesa-dri-drivers and freetype >= 2.6, but these dependencies cannot be resolved as declared. Tumbleweed provides libfreetype6 2.14.3, which provides freetype2, not freetype >= 2.6. We solved the installation by rebuilding the RPM with rpmrebuild and removing these two requirements. Best regards,Alejandro

While I have the Original Sound for Musicians ON, my instructor cannot hear me play.  This is a new computer to me and the general sound is improved, he says, but my strumming is muted.

The auto-correction in Zoom Chat is frustrating. There is currently no way to turn it off on Linux/Fedora.For example, when I type:ich habe am 01.01. eine Nachricht erhaltenZoom automatically changes it to:Ich habe am 01.01. Eine Nachricht erhaltenIt capitalizes both the first character of the message and the word after 01.01., apparently treating the date as the end of a sentence.I have disabled IBus/Typing Booster auto-capitalization, and the behavior still occurs only in the Zoom desktop client. This appears to be Zoom’s own chat editor.Please add a setting to disable all automatic capitalization and text corrections. Users should be able to send exactly the text they type.

The Zoom desktop app keeps crashing or freezing. I'm using Fedora Linux. Please just provide a working app. The app is now so overloaded with unnecessary bloat that nothing surprises me anymore. On top of that, there are questionable features that intercept keystrokes in the chat window - what's that all about?

once I try to install zoom from rpm on my current fedora (44) workstation, I get an error:Failed to read package header from file "zoom_x86_64.rpm"It is possible to workaround using commands such as sudo rpm -Uvh --nosignature --nodigest /(...path...)/zoom_7.1.0.3715_x86_64.rpmbut it looks like there is some problem with the packages. it first appeared on zoom 7.0.5 rpm (previous linux version).Claude claims the problem may be related to rpm 6.0 installed on fedora, meaning zoom packages the zoom app using an obselete rpm protocol (rpm v3), I doubt it since it looks like rpm 6 has been around for a while - but problems appeard only last month.thank you

Hi, I use a Thinkpad X1 Gen 11 with a Raptor Lake chipset/cpu and an IPU6 camera with openSUSE Tumbleweed.IPU6 cameras have been a long standing issue and are still not fully supported everywhere but with the latest software in openSUSE:- kernel 6.13.4- libcamera 0.4.0I can finally at least get a video picture from the qcam application which is part of libcamera.Camera is also referred to as "ov2740" in case that is important. Still the latest Zoom client 6.3.11 does not show any video. It selects the Camera "ipu6" but it stays black. Anyone knows the state of support of this camera within Zoom? Should I rather raise a support issue? Thanks, Wolfgang

I’m using :Zoom Workplace for LinuxVersion 7.1.5 (4332)There is no ability to use a dark mode while, to my knowledge, there is the option for this on many other platforms.  Is there any updates on adding this feature?

Setup: Zoom Virtual Agent (AI Studio) connected to a Contact Center channel. We built a custom transfer flow that, before routing a visitor to a live agent, collects the visitor's name and email and sets the correct queue — so the specialist receives the visitor's details and lands in the right queue.Goal: For any live-agent / support handoff, collect name + email (and set the queue) BEFORE the transfer to Contact Center happens.The problem: Whenever a visitor expresses intent to reach support or a live agent (e.g. "agent", "connect with support"), a built-in curated flow named "transfer to support channel" fires automatically and immediately completes the transfer — bypassing our custom skill and flow entirely. Hi Everyone, I wonder if someone can help me. I want to use zoom to record a number of videos for my online course and  would like to have a different background for my video. I  am on a free plan and have looked through the various articles in the community support section but cannot work out how to change the background on my video.
