Up until about 2 weeks ago, the Alexa Show 8 units would connect to a scheduled Zoom meeting by just saying "Alexa, join my Zoom Meeting". Now, Alexa responds with "try asking me to open Zoom on a device that supports Zoom". Why has support for this ...

Did you use the Alexa app on your phone/tablet to add the Zoom skill to your Alexa unit? Hopefully these instructions are still good: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0063963

Yes, you need to paste the entire Zoom link into the description section of the calendar event, and I have found it works best when it includes the link with the encrypted passcode, as in this picture.
