Accessing Zoomtopia recordings

Anyone else having issues accessing Zoomtopia recordings? It keeps bouncing me back to the registration page, but I had already registered.

 

The chat bot is useless for help, as expected, despite Zoomtopia largely being about effective AI in the workplace. 🙄

As noted already, it bounces me back to the registration page when I select "recording available", despite having already received confirmation of registration long prior to the conference. 

 

It's fine. I caved, and decided to keep re-registering until it let me in. I finally got a different page, today, and can now watch. Some kind of glitch, I suppose. 🤷🏼‍ This is the closest I got to a solution.

Sadly, Zoom was not willing to offer direct support for said glitch; only community discussions.

 

This is the closest I got to a solution. Being that I got it working by repeatedly re-registering, I'm marking that as the solution. Hopefully the next Zoomtopia does not have these glitches.

Hi @ZoomGuest, and welcome to the community 👋. When you click a session that says "Recording available", what happens? The sessions list is underneath where it says "Register".

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We did double check on the backend, and you are registered (which in turn means you should be able to access the recordings). Can you share which "recording available" button you are referring to on the page? This will help us to better troubleshoot.

To access Zoomtopia recordings, follow these steps:

  1. Zoom Account: Make sure you're logged into the Zoom account that was used to attend the Zoomtopia event.

  2. Event Email: After Zoomtopia, participants usually receive an email with a link to the recorded sessions. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for this email, which might contain direct access to the recordings.

  3. Zoomtopia Website: Visit the official Zoomtopia website or the page dedicated to the event. Often, event organizers will provide links to recorded sessions there.

  4. Zoom Web Portal: If the event was hosted by an organization, recordings might also be available in the Zoom web portal under "My Recordings" (if the sessions were recorded by the event host). You may need permission or the correct link to access them.

It sounds frustrating! If you’re being redirected to the registration page despite already registering, try clearing your browser cache or using an incognito window. Also, double-check the email address you used to register—it should match the one required for access. If the issue persists, reaching out directly to Zoom support might be the quickest solution. Hopefully, they’ll resolve it soon!
