I am hosting a hybrid fitness class (both virtual and physical participants) via Zoom.
I will have
a) 1 desktop to share music and connect to studio speaker to play music.
b) 1 iPhone11 that functions as a camera (spotlight to everyone).
My question is:
I will like to attach a Airpod Pro to the b) as a MIC to instruct the class. But since the Airpod Pro is also a earphone with sound out, I will be hearing my own feedback music and voice from the Zoom session which will be confusing to me. Will I be able to switch the sound output off and maintain the sound input via the Airpod Pro MIC independently using Zoom's controls?

Hi @manwai
You will be able to turn the volume down very low on your phone (to your airpods) but not quite all the way to silent. These is no way to switch off the audio output while still using the microphone input from the airpods.
Have you considered using a single wireless microphone connected to your desktop instead?
