Re-sending Registration After Updating Questions

rmiyazaki

Hello!

What would be the best practice for re-sending out a Zoom Meeting registration to folks who have already registered? In this case, the registration form questions were updated and the Meeting host wants to make sure that the people who had already registered have the opportunity to answer the new questions.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @rmiyazaki, thank you for posting for the first time, and welcome to the Zoom Community!

Just in case you are not currently aware, If you change a registration field to be required, any users that completed the registration before the changes will no longer have a complete and valid registration. This means they will not be able to join with the registration links provided, and instead will be redirected to register again. This applies to both customizing meeting registration and webinar registration

If you would like to notify your registrants of this change, I would suggest that you export the registration list from the Zoom web portal and send your registrants an email about the new registration questions 🙂

  1. Go to the "Webinars" or "Meetings" tab, depending on the type of session you are hosting. Find the specific webinar or meeting for which you want to resend the registration form and select the name of the webinar/meeting. Scroll down the page and click on the registration section under 'Invitations' and export the registration list, which typically comes in a CSV file format.

  2. Send a targeted email: In the email, mention the changes to the registration form and explain that you would like them to complete the new questions. Provide the link to the registration found under 'Invitations > Registration link.

I hope this helps!

Hi Carla,

Does this apply to "optional" questions?
