Dear Zoom Team, As a loyal customer for several years, we’ve greatly benefited from your webinar add-on. It has been instrumental in helping us host professional webinars with high-quality equipment and excellent speakers. I’m writing to suggest a feature that I believe could further enhance the experience for both hosts and participants, taking webinars to an even more professional level. When we invite external speakers, it would be incredibly useful to have the option to place them – or the existing participants – in a separate waiting room. This would allow us to test audio, video, and other technical setups without disrupting the participants in the main webinar. This way, attendees won’t be exposed to conversations between sessions or any technical checks. Once everything is ready, the speaker could then be seamlessly brought into the main webinar, where participants can see and hear them without interruptions. I hope you’ll consider this feature, as it c

Just hosted a webinar. There were at least 2 different people whose names were listed 3 times in the attendee panel. The attendee report shows these same people listed multiple times in the report with different times in the session. What can cause the same person to be listed 3 times as an attendee? 

I recently ported my T-mobile number over to Zoom and thought that the advertised "SMS" capability would at least enable me to continue to get 2FA codes via SMS, but I'm unable to get anything from anybody (human or robot) at this time. After a bunch of digging I found conflicting threads about needing a "direct" number that is not the "main company" number and having to go through the horribly slow and convoluted process of 10DLC.  My number is assigned to just me and is not assigned to any other pool, main line, or group. The only thing I haven't done to troubleshoot is the 10DLC campaign setup process.  I would like Zoom to confirm that you can't receive SMS messages unless the 10DLC process has been completed and if true, explain why users must go through this process to receive SMSs. 10DLC makes sense for outbound messages but I'm really shocked and disappointed if this is true for inbound messages as well. P.S. I am trying to join meetings via ZOOM app but it rejected my trial, showing a massage that my version should be updated to higher and I have to contact my IT admin. My Q: what do you mean by IT admin and how to update my current version?

Is it possible that during the Webinar registration process that a recipient is given an option to conset to receiving marketing emails from our company? We are collecting email addresses during registration and we would like our attendees to opt in to Marketing, this will help us being caught up in any spam laws in Australia. I would be grateful for any possible solutions that don't require a separate external process. Thank youJoe

Hi all, We have a meeting room that uses a TesiraForte X 800 DSP for audio, and Logitech RoomMate including Tap IP for utilizing Zoom Rooms. All of these devices run on the latest firmware.  Fault: One day from nowhere, we're not able to adjust the volume, you still have the fader on the TapIP working and you can move volume up/down, but the actual volume stays the same. it's either 100% or 0%.We've raised this issue with Biamp and Logitech which can't figure out why's this happening. I saw that the TesiraForte x 800 is not on the Zoom Room list. Anyone else experiencing something similar?

When I clicked the meeting link, it would always launch the zoom app and take me to the meeting. Was very stable and working for many years. Suddenly, Zoom app won't launch. Even when I click the "Launch Meeting" button, nothing happens. I'm on Windows 10 and Chrome (latest updates for both). I've tried everything: Restarted PC, Cleared cookies, cleared cache, uninstalled and re-installed the Zoom app, including "Cleanzoom", verified camera and mic permissions, verified updated drivers on camera, even tried editing the "Preferences" file in the default directory as someone has suggested. Nothing has worked and I keep having the same issue. I have another (slightly older) laptop running same Windows/Chrome and everything works perfectly there. Can someone please suggest a solution? I've added the contacts I am trying to send SMS to to my Zoom account. However, when I start a conversation with them the title of the group message displays their phone numbers, and not the contact name.

Latest Zoom version 6.2.6(2503) for OpenSUSE Leap 15.6  has massive memory leak. This seems to increase with the number of participants in a meeting. For example, a meeting with one speaker and over 100 participants steadily increased memory use to 32GB within an hour. Until Zoom correct the code, is there any workaround?

If I have a monthly subscription for meetings with 1000 participants and I want to change to a subscription for 300 participants, will the change be effective the following month or only at the end of the year? no idea what location to choose. it says i have to contact my administrator or IT manager.but it's just me - I work for myself - i have no IT manager - that's a joke.how do i update zoom? there's no "update" feature under my profile setting.i paid for zoom for a while and now i can't afford it. how do i update this system.why do i feel like i am trapped inside some bad loop?thanks for any help you can give.Mary  

Hello - We operate webinars from my zoom account but often have different people hosting based on the topic. They are added to the zoom webinars as 'alternative hosts' but those hosts are not receiving a meeting invite with link to join. Is there a way to fix this issue?  Thank you.

Does anyone know how to schedule a meeting where a call in number is provided. I have some people on my team that just want to call into the meeting and now go through. I have seen this with other meetings I have attended in the past but I can't figure out how to do it. Thoughts? Thanks!!

Hi,we are just exploring all options for AI Companion as we are looking into different options for transcribing and summarizing support through AI for meetings.My questions are:- is there a time limit until when AI Companion creates transcripts? (Others and free versions often stop transcribing after one hour.)- is there other time limitations for the recording if the AI Companion is added / activated?- as Admin / Manager of the Accounts (5 persons), are all AI Companion settings automatically set for all? Thanks to all who can help us with the answers. When I am holding a meeting as the host a get this message when I try the screen sharing function. Could please anybody tell me why this happens and how to sort it out? Thank you in advance 

If I had a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 interface with 4 mic (XLR) inputs, will all 4 mics work in a Zoom meeting? If not, is there a way to use an app or something to combine all 4 inputs into a single channel so Zoom would recognize it? Thanks! Ken

I updated my Zoom on my Mac and started having my camera flash, glitch, go black and white, funky colors, reflect my screen during my Zoom calls when not screen sharing. I DO NOT have an external camera connected. I have never had these problems with Zoom before. When I open photo booth or other apps that use my camera  I do not have this problem. I have restarted my computer and redownloaded Zoom. Both have not worked. 

Zoom is such an excellent tool for organizational governance meetings; the specific needs of such meetings should be supported. 1. The host and co-hosts of the meeting are likely to be officers in the organizational governance system and eligible to vote in bylaw amendments. Hosts should not be barred from voting in polls. 2. For the sake of preparing minutes afterward, it would be so helpful if the meeting recording or metadata included the attendance number (proving the quorom). Attendance can be seen live during the meeting, but if the secretary forgets to jot it down, the information is lost. Bonus suggestion: The live transcript is so helpful for preparing meeting notes. Instead of treating it exclusively as an accessibility aide, the live transcript should be as automatic as a meeting recording. Dismissing the transcript should take an extra step instead of having to hunt around to invoke it.

Hello, I recently set up SSO in Entra and the Zoom Admin portal. I followed the instructions provided by both Zoom and Microsoft (https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0064121 and https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity/saas-apps/zoom-tutorial). I got every piece of required information set up, such as the vanity URL, the certificate, the sign-in and sign-out URLs, IDP Entity ID, changed the binding to HTTP-Redirect, and so on. However, when any user tries logging in via SSO, they get an generic error saying something went wrong. When I look at the SAML response logs, I get the following information: Error Code: 1020Error Message: The user is not an SSO user and has been blocked for SSO login by the "Prior to Sign-in" option, please manually import the SSO user. I should note that I also set up the "Provision User" setting to "Prior to Sign-In". We've already set up all of our users in Zoom using their emails. I used one

Hi all,I recently started, for certain meetings of which I am not the owner, getting Zoom notifications every few seconds during the entire block of time the meeting is scheduled - like 60-100 times during a 1/2 hour meeting. This occurs even while I am in the meeting itself, and after it has ended, if it ends early. It's incredibly disruptive. I know how to turn off all Zoom notifications in settings, but I use them and don't want to turn them off. This seems like a bug, and only started happening about 3 weeks ago. I have had the Outlook plugin for a long time and this isn't related to that. Likewise I've been attending this same recurring meeting for over a year and this only became an issue recently. Please help me fix.Thanks!
