On launch today, app updated to 5.17.11 on MacOS Video works on FaceTime camera and on connected Insta360 Link camera.Freezes when select Snap Camera (rely on filters)Worked fine until this morning.Even tried reverting to 5.17.10 and did not work

I’m hosting Zoom sessions on my 8th generation iPad (software version 15.2.1, if that applies).   I can’t find a way to set up breakout rooms.  Can I do this?  If so, how?

Would love to see an option to schedule opting in or out of a call queue. I already use business hours, which is great! But I normally work in my office in the mornings and I'm out in the field in the afternoon. I don't want to receive calls from the queue while I'm out in the field, but still need to receive calls to my extension. Currently I'm switching it manually, but I often forget to opt in or out, potentially missing calls.

Currently, the zoom timer app superimposes a clock onto the camera of the host when activated.Yet when the host turns camera off - For a break - the visual clock disappears. As many hosts will be using this for breaks/lunches/exercises where they will want to decativate their camera - It would be useful to keep displaying on the blank screen of the host.  I am aware it still displays in the top right corner - But that is insufficent as a visual nudge or cue to the audience.   

The AI Companion icon appears in Meetings, but not in Webinars. Our license is for Zoom Professional.

I promise I have tried to search for the answer to this. I can't find a clear answer. There are a few different kinds of chat in Zoom, and a few different settings that control retention. So to be as specific as I can: On my computer in Zoom I have been chatting with people for years. Private encrypted chat. Not a group chat. Not a channel. Not chat in a meeting. Not private chat in a meeting. Advanced chat encryption is enabled at the account level for all users. In several of these chats I can scroll back approximately 10 months ago. Where is this 10 month retention period defined? Can I change this at the account level? (for all my users) Is this chat history stored only on the device? If so how come I can see it on another device? For example on my smartphone I can see the history of these chats that happened on my computer. thanks

Hello, I have a user who has marked all notifications in the Activity Center as read (both individually as well as using the triple dots and marking all as read), but each day her notifications come back as unread. I believe that they are reappearing after each time the application is reloaded. This is in the Zoom Phone System section because this only seems to be happening with Zoom phone notifications specifically, Voicemail, missed calls, etc.  I don't see any real settings we can change regarding the Activity Center Notifications besides allowing specific notifications into that area. We want these notifications to appear so the user will know that they have calls to return or voicemails to listen to, but how do we prevent the activity from returning after it has been marked as read? I have talked with this user and they have just updated to the latest version of the Zoom Workplace Client (6.2.3). I have zoom pro with caption translation add-on. It works when I create a meeting and host it. However, it does not show up if someone else creates meeting and then assign host permissions to me in the meeting. Now I am the host of the meeting but the translation doesn’t show up. Do you have a solution for this?

Hello everyone, Myself Julio Herrera from Via Dei Velutini, Italia, I’m currently using Zoom on my Linux machine and having some trouble with the screen sharing feature. I was wondering if anyone here has experience with sharing their screen on Zoom while using Linux and could offer some guidance.

We created a worksplace pro account with licenses. If we invite Other users who also have a basic or work place pro,  will they lose their zoom schedules and their own recordings they have on their account? Will their zoom schedules and recording tranfer over after their license gets merged / upgraded with our account?  

I cannot get the reports for all meetings that have taken place ... I really need them to check the attendance on those meetings The option keeps thinking and it is not working.

Good morning! I'm new to the app. I use the Linux operating system. I adjusted the webcam and microphone settings accordingly. I'm not getting feedback from my voice on the arcane usb condenser microphone. I have a meeting, how can I resolve this problem with you. What kind of microphones work? Thanks! 

I need to have a zoom call while I'm in Italy with people in the USA.  I'm not sure if this is possible, but does anyone have any  suggestions for success.  I'll problally be around the Tuscany area when this happens.

Good afternoon. Are video calls automatically recorded if you only have a basic account? I didn't intentionally try to record a meeting earlier today, but I'm hoping that there is a way to retrieve a video from earlier today. Any insight to how I might locate a video is appreciated. Thank you! 

In Zoom Events, if you set up a Single Session (full) Event  - am I correct in thinking there is no lobby chat facility or countdown timer? And that this is only available on multi-session events? I'm wondering if it's a problem on my account or if its not featured.   Thanks in advance

Hello,  I'm having a strange problem with an external microphone from Røde and Zoom (Meetings and Webinars).  My voice gets a somewhat robotic effect, it sounds a bit like i'm running it through a flange effect. This only happens when I use the Røde Mic, and it only happens on my M1 MacBook Pro. I've tried »everything«:- the microphone works well with other software, no distortion there- the microphone works well with other computer, even with an iPad- when i use the computer's built-in microphone, it sounds ok. - it only started this year; i've been using this microphone since 2022, and old recordings sound fine. - i've reset zoom, uninstalled and reinstalled zoom, tried different adapters (the microphone is USB-A, my computer has only USB-C)- i've played around with the audio settings in Zoom, eg. using original sound, turned off automatic volume, fiddled with echo cancellation, etc. - i've used different audio outputs (usually headphones, but also

Despite recording in 1080p, the video quality often appears blurry and pixelated across various devices.Here are the main issues we are facing:Blurry and pixelated replay sessions, even though they are recorded in 1080p.No option for learners to adjust video quality in the video player settings on LearnWorlds.Considering using a DSLR camera for recording sessions to improve clarity.Can anyone provide advice on how to enhance the video quality? I don't know why I am not getting transcripts.  I have recordings, I get the email with the link for that, but I never get the email to access to VTT file, nor do I see any VTT files with my recordings.  What am I missing?

Recent versions (currently running 6.1.1) of the Zoom application (both .deb and .rpm packages) took over window decorations. Specifically, they took over the window title bar and its pop-up menus. It is a problem with the main window, as without special shortcuts, one has no place to grab and move the window using a mouse or trackpad. It is a problem both in the main and meeting windows, as I no longer have access to the window manager's functions, like "Always on top," which are especially handy for the meeting windows. Interfering with standard environment features that users are accustomed to is not a winning strategy and is a questionable interface decision. May it be that I missed how to re-enable the old interface? Currently on Fedora 40, Wayland, Gnome 46.

We have most of our employees on a soft phone using the desktop app, with maybe 10 users on Deskphones. When I create a Paging group and only have softphone employees, I get "Sorry we are unable to complete your call....". When I put someone with a deskphone (VVX250) it rings to them and the message is played after pick up. So I have a few questions: How do I get paging to work for those on a desktop app?How do I get it to page out to the deskphone and not have to wait for them to answer? 

During a video conference the light of my camera stays ON but there is no video. I checked the app camera and it is working, but not in a zoom conference. Can anybody help me?

Hi,I have a Whiteboard which contains multiple locked objects. I want to be able to select several of them in one go and unlock them in one go. How do I do that? As far as I can tell:You can only select one locked object at a time and unlock it. Painful.You cannot select multiple locked objects even by selecting them individually. Frustrating.You cannot select multiple locked objects even by dragging around them. Frustrating.
