Can i route auto receptionist to Zoom contact center without a phone number assigned ?Also can i assign an extension to an IVR without any phone number . Can someone guide me through this topic. Your help is highly appreciated. 

With the last couple of versions of the Linux Zoom desktop client, I find that some menus (including the main menu and the audio/video selection menu) don't work: they appear for a fraction of a second and then disappear again. The last version that worked is 5.17.5. Versions 5.17.10 and 5.17.11 show this problem, which makes the desktop client unusable in practice. One of the institutions that host meetings that I attend has a very strict policy on using up-to-date versions of the client, so using version 5.17.5 may not be a usable workaround for much longer. I am using Gnome/Wayland on openSUSE 15.5. This looks similar to a problem reported on the Fedora forums at https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/zoom-menus-dont-show/82677/1 but openSUSE 15.5 uses an older version of mutter (41.9) than that reported there. For completeness I have attached zoom logs for working and non-working versions, although I can't see any significant difference between them.&n

When installed, the Zoom desktop app (v. 5.17.0) will not launch. No desktop icon appears after installing (though the app items appear in the "Apps" list and in the "Apps" control panel). When attempting to launch, no item appears in the Windows Task Manager; the Windows "donut of eternal contemplation' appears for a few seconds; then it disappears. I have tried: * Checking internet connection - It is fine* Cleaning up all temporary and junk files* Performing scans with virus, malware and spyware scanners* Rebooting system* Checking to make sure camera and microphone permission are set properly* Emptying temporary file folders and performing disk cleanup* Making sure device drivers are updated* Launching installer as Administrator* Uninstalling ALL antivirus and security software* Closing all applications except the Zoom desktop installer* Uninstalling and reinstalling the Zoom app from "Apps" control panel* Using the Zoom Uninstaller to uninstall and then reinstalling the app* D

I've been asked to improve our ability to host hybrid Zoom (board) meetings. I understand I can buy a bluetooth projector to do this. I would have to work off an iPhone or iPad - not a laptop. Also, the available wifi is not terribly strong. Any suggestions - is this the best way to go?

Will the ZOOM dashboard display the participant's ip address and participant's mac address? 

I used to just tell my students: message me, and only me (not use group chat) during a lecture. then after the meeting is done, I see all of the chat messages in the (lokaly recorded) saved text file. Now with the new Chat Funktion: where can i see (after the meeting is over) all of the private messages my students wrote to me?

I am host of an ongoing meeting.  The recurring meetings expired, and I tried to reschedule it.  Some how it put another ID number to it.  i need help to fix it.  Also I think I have 2 profiles not sure. Members are joining the old number and it says I already have a session in process.  I am joining the meeting from the Home part Join and choosing the meeting on the dropdown box.I am so confused how to fix this.  Is there a way to get the zoom ID changed. back to the original

I recently purchased an Acer chromebook. The virtual background is not an option in the Zoom app.please help! 

In article 1.2 of the Terms of Service it says: "1.2 Prohibition on Sharing. You may not share an account, Host rights, or any other user rights with any other individual, unless otherwise expressly pre-approved by Zoom in writing. You may not share any login credentials or passwords regarding the foregoing with any other individual. You acknowledge that sharing of any such rights is strictly prohibited." Does this also apply when someone is bad with technology? A teacher of mine has asked me to create a zoom account for her lessons because she finds it difficult. I want to create her account today, so I would know her login info and would probably plan her meetings, so she only has to click on a link to join them.

Can someone please tell me how to transfer ownership of a recurring meeting?  We need someone else to take over the meeting going forward, but we don't want to change the ID and password, since it is widely distributed.  Thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide.

I have tried all ZOOM troubleshooting and I have called Apple, however, my AirPods won't connect to ZOOM meetings.  They connect on EVERYTHING else on my MAC and work great, but I need them in use for my ZOOM meetings and they WILL NOT CONNECT even though it shows chosen microphone AirPods, etc.  Any ideas?

For accessibility purposes we'd like to have every meeting automatically enable live transcription so that we don't have to have a host/co-host individually start the transcription/captions for every meeting we have on our account.  To be clear, we don't just want them to be available, we want them to be turned on by default for every meeting.   Is this possible?

The participants on my Zoom session were not able to hear the audio that was being played from a website I opened and was sharing during our call. They could see the web site content I was sharing but they could not hear the audio from the website. I (as the call host) could hear the audio very well. Are the audio settings I need to adjust on my laptop or in my Zoom settings?  Thank you

I am a super Admin for the account and we have a sites using Zoom Phone with two Poly Edge e350 desktop phones. The users at the site have reported that when these devices are on an active call, there is no external audible ring to indicate a second incoming call. Other than the beep that is heard in the handset only, which is not sufficient to alert nearby team members. Our goal is to configure the devices so that a second incoming call triggers an audible ring from the phone’s speaker, ideally at a volume loud enough for another team member to hear and respond by picking up a different phone in the area. Does anyone know if there’s a configuration or solution that would make this possible? If so, could you please share what steps would be needed to implement it?Thanks!

Is it possible to order multiple phone numbers from different countries?  I can see in the pricing pages obvious options for adding additional numbers in different area codes in the US for example, but the specific use-case we are looking for is:- Normally making calls from Australia, but occasionally, the US, South Africa, Canada and Europe- Need an Australian mobile (+61 4xx) number, but also US and New Zealand numbers ideally- The ability to add additional European numbers in future would be very useful

Hi there I'm having an issue with seeing the meeting video from PC onto Samsung TV. Here is the setup I'm using.Connected to zoom meeting on PC using the Zoom desktop appSign into  Easy Connection to Screen app on PCGo into the Workspace on my Samsung TV QN90BWhen in the Workspace app, select my PC and then TV connects to PCGreen edges appear on the perimeter of both PC monitors but the TV screen turns black. In the past the green edges only appeared on one of the PC monitors. The cursor from the PC is visible on the black TV display but it is very faint. The cursor remains in view on the black display even when I move the cursor across both displays on the PC. The black TV screen seems to be viewing the 2 PC displays as 1 display as the cursor is always visible.If I set the PC displays to 'Duplicate these displays' or 'Show Only on 1' or 'Show Only on 2' then the black screen disappears and TV displays the zoom meeting. I used to be able to supply my small team with a link and they could jump on a call at anytime if I was on zoom. Now I will be on zoom with a team member and another team member attempts to come on my meeting and they do no show in the waiting room.Is there a setting I can change so I can go back to normal.  

I am the only user on my Zoom account, and my role is owner. The account has no admin, and I unable to add myself as an admin. This is preventing me from using some features that require admin approval. Do I have to add another user in order to make myself admin? Is there no alternative solution?

In the "Room Controls for Zoom Rooms" page where JSON examples are provided (Room Controls for Zoom Rooms), ther's a note in the "Rules" section that says the following:Room controls users can specify "events only" in their JSON configuration to hide unnecessary room control interfaces. When this field is specifically defined in the JSON, the Native Room Controls UI will not appear on the Zoom Rooms controller. In deployments using both NRC events and Zoom Apps, the Room Controls button directly launches the Zoom App interface without showing empty room control page.I am using the JSON to trigger states based on meeting start/stop actions, but I don't want to see the "Native Room Controls" icon on the touch panel, since I am using a Zoom App as my primary control interface. According to the note, I should be able to add an "events only" in the JSON to hide NRC (Native Room Controls).
