Solved

Description:Currently, in inboxes tied to shared numbers or call queues, a message’s read or unread status is tracked individually per user — meaning when one person reads or responds to a message, it still appears as unread for everyone else. This causes confusion and duplication of work, as multiple users may open or reply to the same message unnecessarily. Requested Enhancement:Implement a global read or unread state for shared inboxes so that when one user opens or replies to a message, it is marked as read for all users with access to that number or queue. Benefit:This feature would make team communication more efficient, prevent duplicate responses, and provide clear visibility into which messages have already been handled — improving collaboration and response time across shared lines.

Hello, on My Zoom Meetings I plug the Headphone & Microphone Assembly in and Test but only get Sound through the Ears no Microphone. What to do? Thanks, please reply.

Hello,  I cannot join any Zoom meetings. The app always shows “Unable to join this meeting – This meeting ID is not valid.”  I have tried:  – Restarting my computer  – Reinstalling Zoom  – Changing Wi-Fi networks and using mobile hotspot  – Using different devices   However, the issue persists. Could my account or device be restricted or blocked?  Please help me restore normal access.   Thank you very much,  Péter Kovács

Is there any way possible to disable the flashing green rectangle that indicates the active speaker? I have a visual impairment that makes it hard to focus my eyes on flashing lights. I have tried gallery and speaker view, pinning the speaker, etc., but I can't find anyway around minimizing flashing light on the screen. I've been opening four browser windows to arrange over the edges of a pinned person's video to cover the flashing rectangle, but it is very hard to stay engaged on calls when I can't see everyone, and I have to continuously cover the zoom window with the four browser windows each time I need to mute/unmute or click something else on the zoom window.  I know accessibility for all disabilities is not always possible, but this should be a simple setting to turn off. Thank you!

During a meeting , is there a way for the assistant to recognize and distinguish between the voices of participants who are in the same place and using the same computer? In other words, can it distinguish between the voices of participants?

I am using an M4 macbook pro running Tahoe (also happens on previous versions). I am in a meeting that primarily has a speaker at a podium (where the mic is), but we also have instruments. Everything sound fine at the podium, but when music is happening, even though the microphone picks it up perfectly (microphone is directly recorded, and recorded on the mac itself to verify), zoom intermittently (more often than not) suppresses the music as well.  This goes against what the settings suggest, which is that audio suppression should be 100% disabled. I have tried every option.  Windows zoom has more options and can completely disable the noise suppression, but the mac version doesn't seem to have this option. This is a huge problem, please make the app do what it says it does and is supposed to do when using this mode. That's why we choose it, to have unprocessed audio. Before people start offering useless suggestions, I am an audio engineer and a software engineer. I kno

Hi   Does anybody know where I send an email to complain about poor service from a human on the chatbot?   I went round 4 people in 90 minutes and the last salesperson sent me back to billing without exploring my needs.   Any help would be appreciated.   Cheers

I've been using Zoom consistently a few days per week for classes for the past 3 years. I used an iPhone 15 pro Max that's up to date but then switched to an android Z Fold 7 a month ago. The screen is completely rearranged with only a mic button in the center of the screen. No chat. No other buttons at all. I've done every check I can think if but I can not use any functions for classes bc there is nothing on the screen as far as controls. I switched back to the 15 pro Max to see if it was the phone, and yes, the iPhones Zoom screen is normal looking but every time I press the chat button on it, it completely cuts off the zoom and recycles logging back in. Everytime I press chat. So I'm hindered from using it also. This is super weird. I truly want someone to explain how to fix this issue. With both phones but particularly with the Z Fold 7 bc that's my main phone used for classes. Everything for zoom works fine on my MacBook. This is perplexing. Ple

Had a recent update to Zoom app on Samsung Tab A7 Lite tablet; the meeting room no longer shows media controls... | symptoms | - 'Always Show Media Controls' is 'ON' in settings- Before joining a meeting the preview screen shows the media controls; once meeting is joined, no media controls are visible- - Tapping anywhere / everywhere on the meeting screen results in 'notta', no media controls- - Only way to show media controls is when entering picture-in-a-picture feature by selecting the Samsung Android Recents Button and selecting Zoom | actions taken |- 1) Rebooted tablet = notta- 2) Cleared Zoom cache = notta- 3) Uninstall / reinstall Zoom app = notta Thanks in advance for any support provided... have a great day

It's 2025 and people have been posting about this for multiple years now, yet when caller is sitting in queue they have no option to use IVR to Breakout to leave a voicemessage or similar. Most systems even have option to request a callback and sit in callback queue, but we are not asking for that, just simple expected ability to leave a voicemail. Callers dont know they want to leave voicemail if they think they are going to be answered promptly, but reasons arise that they need to jump off phone and want to leave a voice message instead. Why is it so hard for Zoom to add this basic capability?

Hello,My Zoom desktop client repeatedly freezes/hangs during meetings. It happens even when my camera is off — typically while others share screen or have video on. I started having this problem yesterday, Nov 6, 2023.  I can't get past the Zoom launch page when I click on the hot links to meeting in my email.  I tried the Zoom chat bot and they referred me here.   I cleared my cache and temp files and still didn't work.   I uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom and still it is not working.  I can get in on the Web app but that is super laggy and not a viable solution.  I can get in on my iPhone, but again not a sustainable solution.    I appreciate any help figuring this mystery out.

I've been recording zoom clips all morning to send to my clients. I finished one recording and It came up with that error and now all of my recording have disappeared. I've tried everything and even recording from the past month are all gone. How do I get them back ASAP

Hi there!I've recently started using Zoom for my online classes. I would like to "screen share" a shared Google doc during our call, so we can both type in it. I know I can screenshare a tab in my browser, but then I won't see my student's face while working on it. Does anyone know a solution for this?  Many thanks!

Hi, if anyone knows how to get Zoom to respond to client service tickets, please let me know.  I've sent a few tickets over the last month that have been ignored.  My understanding is that Zoom phone supports importing of existing numbers, yet despite following instructions I have been unable to.

My Zoom video shows me upside down.  The background image is correct but not the "front" of the background.  Which displays an upside down image.  See screenshot below. And Yes, I have checked the camera.  It works fine.  It is definitely is Zoom. Done a search on this community site and found nothing. There is nothing wrong with the camera.  As it works in all other applications, but not in Zoom.   I can temporarily remedy this by turning off the video - and just show a still of me.  But I host tons of Zoom meetings and it would be great to solve this!   THANKS!

I have an Auto Receptionist setup as a basic Call Tree: Opt 1 sales, opt 2 support etc. During after business hours we want the support calls to go to an external 800 number, i.e. +18005551234. When dialing the extension afterhours to have the caller be forwarded to the External Contact, instead Zoom says "The caller you're trying to reach is unavailable, good bye" and hangs up the phone. We cannot figure out why this is happening. Any advise would be much appreciated.

In the post-secondary education world, instructors need to provide spaces for students to collaborate with each other other than during class time. In order to provide private spaces to meet, instructors would like to open some 'virtual team spaces' for different groups of students in different classes. This involves using the 'no fixed time' and 'Join before host' settings. As it stands, instructors (hosts) can schedule as many meetings as they want but only 2 of those meetings can be open/used at the same time regardless if the host is present or not. This is not workable for how our instructors utilize the system. some instructors have 4 different courses and each one of them could have team projects that need to use these open spaces at any given time during the day/week/semester. How do we or can we work around this?Have any other users from the Education world come across this? All help is welcome.

Hello,I am not able to connect to any for my whiteboards this morning. Message : cannot find collaboration server.Any solution for that please ?Florence
