Solved

The Zoom Timer app no longer works for me as of yesterday. I have never had trouble with it before. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the Zoom app and the Timer app within Zoom, and restarted my computer. The problem remains. When I open the app, the Timer logo flashes briefly and then I get a black screen instead of the timer. I am running macOS Catalina 10.15.7 and Zoom version 6.2.10

I am trying to confirm the exact behavior of Zoom Events Production Studio regarding speaker video tiles. If a speaker is assigned to a tile in a Production Studio scene but their camera is turned off, what appears in the live view?Does the tile remain visible (for example, showing a placeholder, profile picture, or name)?Does it remain as an empty/blank tile?Or does the tile disappear entirely from the live output? My goal is for a speaker’s tile to disappear automatically when that speaker is not on camera. I have reviewed the Production Studio support documentation, but this behavior is not described. If anyone has confirmed information from Zoom or has tested this behavior in a live Zoom Events environment, I would greatly appreciate your input.

I'm running Zoom on Windows 8.1  daily for several years without almost any issue and I've just updated Zoom to version 5.16.1. This version redesigned the annotation tool bar. It's great you can place it vertical but now I have a problem: I can't change the size of the text as I used to do it in the previous versions. Is this problem a bug in the new version or there is a way to do it that I don't know?  Please help me solve this issue.

Is it possible to use two poly bars for one Zoom room? I know you can use this with Huddly cameras, but using two poly bars in the same space would be amazing. I tried reaching out to HP, and they said it is possible, but it was not a confident response.

In the new 6.0 update, every time I mute or unmute, a "chirp" noise that only I can hear is played through my audio device. This did not happen before this update and there does not appear to be any setting to disable this. How can it be turned off? It is super annoying. Thank you!

How do I setup a call queue to first ring two people simultaneously, and if no answer then ring to a 3rd person? I see it shown as an option in the call queue setup section (see included screenshot below, but I can't find directions on how to set it up that way.

Does anybody know how to set up a meeting where you only record the host and not the participants? It's that possible?

Hi, We have encountered an issue where a Zoom Room no longer shows a reoccurring meeting, but this meeting is still visible in the Microsoft Outlook calendars of the people who attend this meeting. Theres been no evidence of the meeting being cancelled, and checking the zoom portal outlook is set up to share its calendar with zoom for the people affected. Is there anything we can troubleshoot to prevent such an issue from happening or find out why the reoccurring meeting was removed from the Zoom Room? Thanks

Zoom will not open on my iMac with Sequoia OS.   I get an error message  "You can’t open the application “zoom.us” because this application is not supported on this Mac.I try to open it via Safari and I get distorted audio which seems to interfere with other members of meeting.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but it does not work.

Hi,I need to access the data from the registration form in a meeting with registration.I added extra questions and need to see the answersMany thanks

DearOur end user often use zoom app for discuss, not using video meeting, but it use more ram resource in the computer. Is there suggestion for adjusting ram performance ? Thanks.

zoom actualized automatically to a new version, and now my recurring meetings are not showing up, how can I recover those?Thank you

I used to have a photo of myself that shows when video is off. It disappeared. I want to add it again.

I recorded a meeting to the cloud, but at the time I did not have zoom Pro. Once the meeting was over I purchased the Pro option so I could get access to the cloud but I still can’t find the recording. Is there any way I can access the recording even though it was done before the cloud purchase.

We are a medium size company with around 100 Zoom Rooms in the US - Trying to find out if Zoom Rooms fall under Ray Baums act for dialing 911.What I have tested and found so far Dialing 933 from a room that has not had a phone license assigned - call fails. most of our rooms have not been configured with an extension as dialing out would current count against zoom meeting phone call minutes - didn't require an extra phone license. If we assign a basic phone license it can dial 933 ( but then can not dial out otherwise ) - but it uses the default site address and does not follow settings for more specific e911 info ( I wanted to include the room number itself)   - even though there is an option to use a different address when you assign it a zoom phone license.I tried setting an unlimited license and it's still giving the programmed building address and not the address chosen in the drop down.Ideally I would like to have an emergency location added per Zoom Room&nbsp

HIAt time my wife and I will be at a zoom meeting- when we do one of fades in and out, depending how far that person is away from camera. Is there a setting to solve this issue?

Can anyone tell me how to do this? I know how to trim from start or end, but not how to cut out a few minutes from the middle of the recording.  Thank you!

Hello, I work for an MSP that supports both Windows and Mac devices. Over the last month, we've noticed that users of specifically LENOVO devices (laptops) are experiencing an issue where their devices crash whenever they enter meetings. The devices lock up and need to be hard shut down and rebooted to operate again. We've tried reinstalling zoom, turning off hardware acceleration, making sure the device is up to date etc. This seems to be something related to how Zoom and Lenovo are interacting at the software level, but we need a solution ASAP, as this behavior is spreading across all client using Lenovo devices!

Too bad there is no PPA for Zoom. I use this script to check for newer zoom_amd64.deb and update.Installing or updating Zoom on Linux – Zoom Support#!/bin/sh echo Installed: $(cat /opt/zoom/version.txt) echo Available: $(wget --spider https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_amd64.deb 2>&1 | grep Location | sed -e 's/.*prod\/\(.*\)\/.*/\1/') REPLY=n echo -n "Download and install? " read REPLY if [ $REPLY = y ] ; then wget -c https://zoom.us/client/latest/zoom_amd64.deb sudo apt install ./zoom_amd64.deb rm zoom_amd64.deb fi

Is there a way to set time of day parameters in The Call Queue Real-Time Analytics? I'm looking to pull all the data in that section by shift.

I am trying to setup a new zoom account for a new organisation. I am not receiving activation emails. (Yes, I have checked spam.) I have tried two different emails and neither have worked. I have then sent emails from my own computer to those addresses and no problem. I have sent them from another computer and no problem. Still not coming through from Zoom though. The server is not a corporate one and as I say, the email addresses are working fine in all other environments except for Zoom. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Ric

HelloWe facilitate AA meetings on Zoom and because of the open format and public posting of meetings we are a prime target for Zoom Bombers. We remove and report the Bombers when they come in.   We use all the available features to limit interruptions but they find ways around them. This post is not to illicit zoom 101 comments, it to hopefully be an online petition for Zoom to track the accounts, IP addresses, and other identifying factors of Bombers' to restrict their access to the platform. We have done all we can, we need Zoom to start removing bad actors. Please help! Thanks

What is the unique setting necessary to ensure we are tracking all participants within the Zoom Conf. I ran the report per the instructtons and it came out blank although I had 2- plus folks online. How do I ensure they are captured

Hi, After download zoom app, how to install zoom.exe for all users in the same computer I download exe file, not msi files, is there command for all users install? Thank.
