I have been using Zoom for two years without understanding it and I need to ask the following:1. is the personal meeting id what we always use to send someone so they can connect with me?2. what is the host key and when and how do i use it?3. is using zoom on macbook any different from iPhone? I Have meeting this week from my iphone and I am worried that connecting to my scheduled meeting with my personal meeting id will be somehow different to open. 4. Use Personal Meeting ID for instant meetings--what is this?5. What is the purpose of a Passcode and why do I not see this in my profile?Thanks for any and all help.

Hi,Sorry does someone have copy of the Zoom 5.7.0 IT Installer I could have?The current IT installer version being hosted by Zoom is 5.7.1 but we've version locked on 5.7.0 on our lab deployments for Mac and PC and I've missed the window to download the 5.7.0 version.Thanks in advanced.

I recently shared a quiz with a group and 3 out of 9 people couldn't see it. I tried relaunching it but it made no difference. The other 6 were able to complete it. Any ideas why this might have happened?

I recently bought one Large Meeting 500 participant capacity add-on to my pro account.  Then I added it to my personal user license.  Does this mean that any Zoom meeting that I personally start will have a 500 participant capacity?Also, I have 2 other license holders on my account, does this mean the participant capacity for them is 100 because only I have the 500 participant add-on turned on?

  I had to uninstall and then reinstall the desktop "client" (app).

In production while requesting api : https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/{userId}/token?type=zak it throw the error : Request failed with status code Forbidden. I have done test on local and postman api is returning token.

Can I store the link to meetings and events I attend regularly?

Until now I have never ever had problems to make a recording on my computer. Now when I try to start it, it opens the options window where I don't see anything wrong and there is no option to start the recording.  Can anybody help me, please?

Hi folks, Does anyone know if Zoom saves the transcriptions of a meeting for non-recorded meetings? We are hoping to turn on transcriptions for confidential meetings but we do not want a record of the transcription to be saved anywhere. Thanks! 

I set up 2 users, assigned numbers and phones.  I cannot make outbounds calls.  it says on the phone "Emergency Calls Only"  I have made sure the users can do Outgoing calls.  They can receive calls and I can dial their extension. Any insight on this?!   ThanksKendall

Question: When running Zoom EVENTS – Do all attendees have to register/login to a Zoom or other account in order to attend/access the event?

Can someone at Zoom look at this, as support options to involve Zoom personnel are non-existent.So the basic problem is that Zoom settings offers a Notification of 5minutes out from a meeting. other options are 10 and 15min.but joining a meeting 5 minutes early is not ideal.then when the notification pops it then disappears within a few seconds (this could be a Mac issue).irrespective...there should be at least 0 minute option or even 1 or 2 minute options to have that notification pop.and ideally the notification stays on the screen.If there is a fix please advise, but I assume there isn't otherwise it would probably already be obvious.Next Question: where does a user suggest a feature change like this? There seems to be no support options relating to "Ideas"

If I turn on e2ee on my account, I assume it would immediately be enabled for all users.Can we then go ahead and disable it for all, then re-enable it for a subset of our users?Maybe by using the API ? Thanks,Mohamed.

Hi there!  I would like to add another user to a webinar I created so that it also shows up in her Zoom account when she clicks "Webinars". I would like to give this person access to all webinar details including registration information. Is this possible or would they have to login to my account to view a webinar I created? Thanks!

I tried to sign in via SSO and now the domain name I used (that doesn't exist) prefills the domain of every meeting I try to join, and I get an error message (100006000). I was invited to speak at an event and the organiser said that I needed to create an account to access the meeting, and that she would add my domain to the whitelist. My company doesn't use Zoom but when I first tried to access the meeting, the link it didn't work - so I tried the SSO log-in instead, adding my company name (for example ABC company) as the domain. This also didn't work, but now every subsequent external meeting I try to join replaces the correct domain with my company's (e.g. the meeting is for xUniversity.zoom.us and it loads in my browser as ABCcompany.zoom.us, even though my company doesn't have a Zoom domain or SSO login). I've cleared my cache and cookies but I can't find a way to make Zoom forget this fake domain. Help?? (Please!)

Good morning, Zoom users and administrators!   So, I've been taking advantage of a discount on a monthly subscription which recently expired, and I cancelled my subscription because I wanted to upgrade to an annual plan but couldn't with a coupon code applied to my account.  I was officially cancelled with an expired coupon code as of yesterday.   I was having trouble taking advantage of the 40% off annual plan offer directly, so I figured that I had to sign up for a regular monthly plan first.  I did that and paid for a month of Zoom One.  Then, I almost immediately paid to upgrade to an annual plan, which processed and seemed to work correctly.  I've paid for the year, but when I look on my Account, it seems I'm still on the monthly plan?  Will this update?  How can I make sure my annual plan takes effect, given that I've paid for it and that's what I want?   Thanks very much for your help and consideration!

Whenever I screen share (or anyone else), zoom gets into full screen mode. How do I turn it off? I hate it:D 

I am new to Zoom phone, and I can't believe how incredibly frustrating it is trying to set it up. I have finally gotten a voicemail greeting in place, but I do not receive notifications when someone leaves a voicemail. Does anyone know how I may be able to fix this? 

We are Charity in the UK that helps professionals who lost their jobs to get back into employment. We are now also in the process of working with Ukrainian refugees and found out that captions can be translated into Ukrainians.Is anybody using this feature? Am I right in assuming that in Zoom meetings the presenter's voice (always in English) will automatically be translated into Ukrainian (can it be configured so that the translated caption only appears on the selected screens and not everybody in the meeting? Would it also work the other way round, i.e. if an Ukrainian speaker asked a question in Ukrainian that the translated English caption would appear on everybody's screen in English?Thank you for your advice.Wolfgang

Hi. We are holding a 3 days conference this month end on Zoom events. We have some 60 parallel tracks running in parallel on one of these days. I just want to check if there is any limit to the max number of sessions that can be organized in parallel on zoom events

I am working on a project in which root rot of plants are being studied, and we have to check the morphology of plant day by day. Is there any way in which i can livestream continuously for 120 days of plant video so my all colleagues can also observe the morphological transition in plant. 

I just want to give a feedback about Zoom meeting on an iPad. I hope that one day, you will allow the participants to be viewed even while the Zoom iPad app is not on 'full screen' mode when sharing-screen or while viewing presentation. I need at least 2 apps open at the same time to read my queues. I have waited up to this point but still it is limited.   JC
