We are in the process of switching from Teams Voice to Zoom Phones and during the trial period, I imported 9 contacts to test the importing process.  We will be linking our Office365 contacts when we go live but now I can't seem to get rid of these 9 contacts.  I am also an admin for the Zoom account but I cannot find if there is an admin permission that I need to check in order to remove these contacts.  Any help page I find on Zoom points me to the Contact Management section in my web portal but I don't even have that option, I can only see Personal Contacts.  Any help would be appreciated!

Every time I launch Zoom on my MacBook Pro, if Zoom is opened on my Mac Studio, I get logged off Zoom on the Mac Studio. I then have to re-enter the password (which is a strong password, because 2022). Why TF does Zoom not let me use my 2 PCs (actually Macs)?This is so stupid and annoying. I could understand that I could only join a meeting from one PC at a time (so that the same account is not used by 50 people), but why log me off??? I presume I am not the only one with a desktop and a laptop.Zoom is the ONLY app I know that is so annoying. I am a paying customer and am highly annoyed by that.(which adds to Zoom asking me very often to change password, and not working well with Apple's Keychain Access, making this a total mess). Of course these disagreements happen when I want to join a meeting with my profile and what is attached to it, such as virtual backgrounds. Zoom, please fix this. This is very annoying and makes Teams look user friendly.

Hello, I want to share a video of a the meeting I  recorded and I was wondering how do I remove the secret code for my hosts? I want them to just click on the link and have access. But I can't disable the secret code while creating the event.  Thank you for your helpRachel 

If I've added in name tags for my panelists and have updated their name and description, but part of their name is showing up, not the description. How do I make sure both are shown in the webinar? Thanks!

Hi! my lenovo t450 have i5 5300U  and 8 ram  and I can't turn on 49 windows. However, my old laptop t410 has an i7 640m 8 ram and has 49 windows available. what do I need to do to run windows 49 on a new laptop?

Please can the community assist. I recently updated to the latest Zoom app. Since then, after accepting someone from the waiting room as host into a meeting -their video freezes after a few seconds. Sound is perfect, and in a  hour long  meeting the video may unfreeze for 15-20 seconds 2 to 3 times. My video stream to them is unaffected, and they have un-interrupted video of myself as host for the duration of the meeting. I am using a 200Mbps up/down fibre line running at 186Mbps on my computer. Furthermore, if I run the meeting from a web browser I don't have any issues. I did do a Windows update, and have since rolled back the update to see if that would fix the issue, which it did not. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

As fas as I know, the host can see which participant turned on video and microphone. But I'm not sure about joining audio button. 

Hello guys,Yesterday I entered zoom with my iPhone, and when I shared my screen to others, it asked if I want to do a Live Broadcasting. I did start broadcasting, as it wouldn't let me share my iPhone's screen without doing so, but when I did it showed me the color red around the clock on the top left side of iPhone (the color that shows whenever we do a screen recording). I wanted to ask if that means that the zoom recorded my screen sharing or it's just a color to remind me I'm screen sharing ? (and that it is NOT recording anything ?) I need to know this please.Thank you 🙂

Hi,Recently i noticed zoom text messaging history does not show up, i can see maximum one or 2 days history, earlier i was able to see it for as long back as i wanted to, strangely i can see the history on my phone but on my computer i see limited text message history, i am referring to the zoom phone texting/sms, not the chat messages for zoom.Any ideas why this is happening ? I dont see any setting for text message historyThanksAneik

If a person wanted to call someone from within the contacts section of their Outlook desktop application, is there a way to do it?  It automatically wants to use Teams Voice but how do I get it to choose Zoom?  It seems that the only option for the Outlook Desktop Zoom Plug-In is to either schedule a  meeting or start an instant meeting.  

Im looking to create a mailbox for our schools athletic dept where parents can be transferred to an extension.....which will put them into voicemail.   We don't want the voicemail to be attached to a particular user.   I can't seem to figure how to do this without attaching a user and device to it?   I created a common phone but don't see how to attach voicemail to it and am not sure how a coach would call in and retrieve the messages either.  Thanks for your help

I'm a bit confused about adding a user to my organization. I paid for a second license. I am hiring a mentor for my students for 12 months, however, they have an independent practice which also requires zoom. https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360028938451 It sounds like when they accept my invitation, they are merged with my organization and will lose independent access to their own zoom account and I'd be paying for everything. So how does he keep his own zoom account at the same time that he can login to mine as a user and run meetings?Thank you!Dr. Karen

Hey,So I’ve been wondering if a Participant in a meeting where I’m the host can save the chat. Especially the messages that were sent after he left. For example when 5 people leave the meeting and two are left in it and they chat with each other. I know that there’s an option for saving the chat automatically but I wonder if only the host gets the history of the chat or if everybody’s got this option.Or if the participants only can get a transcription of the messages that were sent when they were in the meeting.thanks for answering. 

Hello,My company is in the process of migrating over to Zoom phone.  We purchased a batch of Unlimited Calling Plan licenses,  Toll phone number licenses (for 'parking' unused ported DID's and 2nd phone numbers for a couple of users), and some Toll-Free number licenses.  I was told by the sales team that Auto Receptionists and Call Queues were treated like named phone users, and would consume a Calling Plan license.  However now that I'm setting it all up, I do not see my Calling Plan license count decrease when setting up an AR... only the Phone number license decreases when I assign a number to the AR.  So that seems to indicate that the AR itself is free, and you just need a phone number license if you need it to be externally accessible.  Is that right?  Could I just set up 100 AR's with just internal extensions for free? The main reason for asking is that on our old system we have a lot of nested IVR's, some of the stupidly complicated and d

Hello.  I am using the breakout rooms for weekly workshops and I do random room assignments.  When I open the rooms and individuals join, there are usually a few that join but then are not joined all of a sudden?  As the host, when I select the breakout room list, I see everyone assigned but the person having trouble cannot re-access access their room.  I see their name in the assigned room but it is in grey lettering and (not joined) next to their name.  I try to give them access to the room again but I cannot since they are listed in that particular room but they cannot rejoin the room on their end.  The person will tell me who they were in the room with so they technically joined but no longer are in the room.  Is that on the room attendee's end where they can rejoin the room on their own since I cannot reassign them to the room?  I hover the mouse over their name and that particular room is missing in the available list.    Thank yo

I recorded a session and when I replayed it I could not see the other speakers unless they spoke. I would like to see everyone in the screen during the whole recording? What do I do to accomplish that. Look at the screenshot of my settings. I think I set it up right, but recording did not come out the way I wanted. @Support1  

Hello! Each month I host a recurring group call. It is audio only. If I wanted to have video this month, can I simply hit my video camera? Or do I need to make any changes to the settings? Do I need to ask my people to do anything? Thanks!

When I record a Zoom meeting on my Windows 10 PC, I get two files, a video file (.mp4) which includes both video and audio, and an audio file (.m4a).  Is there any difference between the audio in the video file and the audio of the separate .m4a file?  Is the m4a better audio quality, for example?

I'm trying to pre-assign participants to breakout rooms using a CSV file.  When they came into the meeting only 2 were assigned. They said they are all using the same email address for Zoom. I only had 8 people so I could manually assign them but when I have meetings with 80 I don't want this to happen. How do I ensure they all get assigned based on the CVS file. I used the template provided by Zoom.

Hello, I am Taito. I have a licensed zoom account. And every Saturday, I teach Japanese School. The following month, I have a substitute teacher taking over for one week of the class. I seem to not figure the password and it only lets me link to my google account. I try to change password, but it only lets me sign in through google account. Is there a way I can change the zoom password without this trouble?

I can't be alone on this.  When joining a meeting with my colleagues, I like to share pleasantries and see their smiling faces.  Once the meeting gets moving on the agenda, I often need to really focus on what's being said and not get distracted by this voyeuristic view of the other remote attendees.  It would be wonderful if I could select the video feeds of certain attendees to hide, or all videos.  It would also be helpful when you need as much screen real estate as possible because Tammy is sharing a spreadsheet with 8pt font and isn't considerate enough to zoom into the content for her audience. 1. Hello! I see documentation for how a digital signage display can join a meeting, but no documentation on how to get it to actually join the meetings.... Is it supposed to automatically join? I've run a few tests, and the calendar works appropriately, but I can't get the signage display to actually join the meeting to share the screen. We'd like to leverage this functionality to display our internal meetings across all of our TVs.Thank you!

Desktop support for some users. 32-bit still works.I'm using this line to install for both 32-bit and 64-bit Zoom client installs.  It's with the IT admin installer from the upper part of the downloads page.Start /wait \\path\zoominstall.exe /quiet /norestart ZoomAutoUpdate="true" ZNoDesktopShortCut="true" ZSSOHOST="myorgname.zoom.us" So it's got ZSSOHOST="myorgname.zoom.us" to prepopulate myorgname into the SSO path when any Zoom client user clicks into SSO.  I'm sure that saves a few tickets. That works fine with 32-bit Zoom.  I just noticed it's not working on 64-bit Zoom though.  I'm assuming autoupdate is working but... If the SSO path isn't on 64-bit, maybe autoupdate isn't either. I googled for switches but I keep finding the same pages with the switches in general. For the Zoom installer I'm working with -- 64-bit, IT admin version, .exe, ver 5.11.7185.  I don't know if I'm posting this in the correct forum.  If t
