Can an alt host be signed into a webinar via laptop and mobile app? Does the mobile app have the capability to run a webinar? 

I help teach classes that are done in person and also support zoom for those that are too far away or not able to get there in person.  We have limited seating in person, but zoom attendance is not a problem.   We have people register for the class, but I have no way of knowing if they plan to attend in person or on zoom.  Is there a way to include a poll question in the registration invitation?  ie   Poll Question "How do you plan to attend? " Option 1 In person,  Option 2- Using zoom It would be extremely helpful to have this feedback come with the registration information prior to class without having to follow up and ask after they are registered. Is it possible, or can it be added as a new feature?

Wonder if somebody can shed some light on my question please. We've setup the system to email us each morning the previous days call totals for each user. What are the totals under completed calls made up from as we having issues with some users numbers not balancing up.  Outgoing and Received = Total. But the other columns doesn't add to completed. Please see picture below:

If a Basic Zoom account user schedules a Zoom meeting within Canvas LTI, but a Pro Zoom account starts that meeting within Canvas, will it affect the timings? is it capped at 40mins? Thanks in advance

I did a webinar last Sat and it was originally set to record. having retrieved the recording, it stopped after two minutes. The webinar went on for a few hours successfully. Any idea why the recording may have just stopped or how I can retrieve the missing part ? Thanks

Hi everyone, I'm new to the community so I apologise if this topic has been covered before. I had a problem this week when I was presenting  a set of PowerPoint slides at a presentation. There was slide morphing in the presentation so it was slightly but not overly complicated. During set up everything worked perfectly but as soon as I went to screen sharing on Zoom it all went haywire. I could only advance slides via the arrow key on the keyboard and the morphing didn't work at all. This happened before too.  I was using a MacBook, the previous time was a PC. I would welcome any suggestions to avoid this recurring. Thanks from Bonnie Scotland.

I just updated from v5.11.1 to v5.11.3 this morning. Any time I would turn on my camera during the meeting, Zoom would report that it has crashed and wanted to send a crash report. After three times, the video would freeze. This would occur both on Windows and Mac OS.

Hi,  We would like to pre-record our webinar and play it to an audience at a set time so it looks like a live webinar. However, at the end of the webinar we want to go live and do a live Q&A? I have a couple of questions Will participants be able to post questions on chat during the pre-recorded part of the webinar?Will I be able to record the pre-corded webinar and the live Q&A as one video so that I can make it available on demand and it looks like one video?Thank you very much in advance for your help?  Josephine

Good afternoon. I am working on a Zoom Webinar Registration that will be offered completely in Spanish for our Spanish Speaking citizens.  I have found how to change the langue for confirmation emails once they register, but I am having some issues with the creation of the registration itself.  I have added 2 pictures with the areas circled in red that I need help in figuring out how to turn them into Spanish.   Since the fields: first name, last name, email address, confirm email address are automatically populated by Zoom.  I translated these fields into Spanish, but, as you can see from picture, the automatic English fields are listed first.  Also, the statement right before the blue "Register" button and the blue button itself are in English (see picture 2) and I need them in Spanish. Is there a way that I can change these areas to Spanish?   Thanks in advance for your help! Is

I have pre-assigned breakout rooms. But I also want to be able to do random breakout rooms as part of a meeting and also use the pre-assigned rooms for some activities.If I do random breakout rooms while in a meeting - does this mess up the pre-assignments? 

I'd like to design a white board ahead of a meeting tomorrow, but we are using someone else's Zoom account for the meeting. Is it possible to create a white board in my zoom account and then share or transfer that over to another zoom account to use during a call?

Instead of having to turn on transcripts during each meeting, is there a way to enable transcripts for all of my meetings and also have the option for a 'company wide' switch to turn on transcripts for all meetings ?  If that feature is not available, could it be added to Zoom please ?

Hi, I've been experiencing a strange sound that plays randomly on my mac while connected to a Zoom meeting pilates class.It only happens there and in no other meetings. Any idea what causes the sound and if it's a problem on my side? (I tried opening the attached mp3 file with VLC but couldn't hear anything. Hello. I have the Zoom app on my phone as well as Zoom on my laptop. How do I make sure that I am only getting the calls on my laptop and they are not ringing on both my laptop and my cell? I thought there was an easy way to stop it but I can't seem to find anything. I still want to be able to use the app for chat when I am not at my desk but would prefer to not get calls. Thank you!

We use zoomgov and currently there are only these options for zooming: fit50%100%150%200%300% Which is fine and all, but I'd like to just input a custom view. Frequently I'd have to join a meeting where someone has a 4k screen, and I have a 1080p screen. 50% is too small, and 100% is too zoomed in, so I'd like to be able to put something like 75% or just a custom number.

Zoom recordings in the cloud used to include, partially, the given name of the of session in the title but changed to the very unhelpful DateStamp[random number].mp4 format. Please can it be put back to the original or give us the option of retaining given file names?  Our Tutors are set to give tutorials weekly or fortnightly on their specialised subjects, this results in usually 30 meetings per week and I must download them ALL and store them for quality reasons. This helps with disputes between Students and Tutors.  As you can imagine my archive has grown quite significantly over the past 5 years and I would like a more efficient way of searching them in future. Perhaps by subject rather than date.

I suspect this is incredibly obvious to everyone but me but I can't find it in Zoom's documentation.  For the new Whiteboard, when I click the arrow to the right of the Whiteboard icon at the bottom of a Meeting, there are two Share Whiteboard Options. What does "Who can start sharing when someone else is sharing?" mean? The first Option for "Who can share" was confusing enough and it took a LOT of testing to realize that it meant who can add/share a whiteboard within the meeting. It sounds like this setting should control who has the ability to share the whiteboard that displays with users outside of the invited participants.It also doesn't help that in Zoom's Portal Settings for Whiteboard sharing options, both options have the same information in the information popup.  

I recently joined a Zoom organization and when I try to browse channels using the "Join a Channel" function I notice it's arbitrarily cutoff around the letter "F" but there are definitely more channels in the org. Is this working as intended, or should it continue to load more channels as I scroll?

We're using Zoom Rooms with a Mac mini controller, Neat pad tablet, HDMI display and MXL AC-360-Z V2 microphones.  The audio is frequently scratchy and distorted from the microphones.  Users within the room can hear audio from remote participants, video quality is excellent, just the microphone is giving us inconsistent results. We have another room with a Shure mic that works well.  The acoustics in this room weren't good for the Shure so we're trying the MXL.  Has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix?  It's frustrating that out of the 3 microphones we've tried to date, only one has worked at all with the Zoom app.  (The first one was a Bluetooth speakerphone that also gave us distorted audio.)

Using a Poly VVX 250. I've got the outgoing countries set and all works fine on the app. I can call out to anywhere I need. However, I get the following message when trying to make outgoing calls on my poly phone: "Sorry, we cannot complete your call. Your service plan does not support calling to this destination"

Hello,  I managed a meeting yesterday from my cell phone, and it should be recorded "on the local computer" as I chose. How to find the record of this meeting? knowing that I searched on the zoom account and I couldn't find any record.  Please guide me. Thank youLina 

I set up registration for a meeting - the account is capped at 100 max per meeting.  The registration filled up fast to 100 so I purchased the the 1,000 large meeting package from Zoom - but the registration link still says that "Registration is closed".... Any ideas on how to re-open registration?  Or will I have to set up a completely new meeting and registration process?

Thanks in advance for any help...We'd like to offer a Q&A via Zoom and just publish a link for anyone to join in (no registration necessary); however, when they do show up to join the Q&A, we'd  like to collect some info from them before they are allowed to enter (things like their name, email, nationality, whatever)... Is this possible and, if so, how can I do it?
