How do you disable the confirmation prompt when leaving/ending a meeting you're hosting? Hi. I finally have a macropad and want to build some Zoom keys. My first one should be one-click to exit a Zoom meeting. I know:ALT-Q is the standard keyboard shortcutIt can be made globalIn the General options, you can disable confirmation when leaving a meeting, but this only works if you're a guestUpon issuing an exit commandIf you're a guest, focus shifts to the red Leave Meeting button and you can press Enter (most of the time)If you're a host, focus shifts to the red End Meeting for All button and you can press Enter (most of the time) Mapping ALT-Q into a macropad key and disable confirmation when leaving a meeting, we're good if you're a guest. But I host as many (more?) meetings as I attend, and it doesn't work there. For the record/geek cred: I can simulate pressing ENTER on the confirmation prompt in AutoHotkey:WinClose, ahk_class ZPContentViewWndClass ; Close command

I am hosting a meeting from my account but wish to log in to an unrelated seminar (hosted by another party) at intervals. Can I host in one window and receive in another window simultaneously on the same device?  Can I alternately use two devices, one to host and the other to receive? Can the devices be in the same location or do I have to use two locations, one for each device?

The virtual background I have selected does not save from session to session. I want the same background for almost all my Zoom meetings but the selected background does not "save". I have to reselect it it every session.

We currently have 1 Pro license and are planning a meeting with 5 breakout rooms. We will need to promote 5 different attendees to be co-hosts or presenters in each of the 5 breakout rooms. Do we need to purchase 4 additional pro licenses to do this? Can we get by with 4 basic licenses if it's just for one meeting?  Can we pre-assign attendees to be co-hosts/presenters for a breakout room? We are letting the rest of our attendees choose which rooms they go into, so they won't be pre-assigned. THANK YOU!

I'm doing a 3-part public training session that absolutely requires access to breakout rooms which means that  I'm limited to 'meetings' but I also need to charge for this training so require payment functionality for participants to register and then provide registration confirmation along with a meeting link (like when registering for a webinar).  How can this be achieved?    Do I have to start out with it being a webinar and then switch it to a meeting closer to the live date?  What would be the impact to the participant?  To my training session?  Any help would be very much appreciated on resolving this dilemma. Thanks! 

Incoming email msg at 9pm from no-reply at Zoom .us “judyf has joined your Personal Meeting Room”. There is no meeting scheduled.I have no known contact judyf.What could this be? Should I change the ID to my personal meeting room?If so, How does one change the ID to personal meeting room?

I am trying to troubleshoot a past issue that I wasn't present for. Is there a limit to the duration of a pre-recorded video when shared via Screen Share?  Would a longer video cause payback issues such as intermittent audio and a 'fuzzy' video for viewers.  Play back was during a Webinar.  I am looking into other causes such as file type, connection speed, client settings etc, but this is the one thing I wasn't sure about.  Thanks!  

Hi! I have back to back meetings with sometimes 8 students in a row  (1 student at a time) in my personal zoom room. Do I need to end each meeting in my personal zoom room and then start personal room up again to meet with next student (a bit cumbersome) or is there a way I can stay in the room and move from student to student? thanks!

I just hosted an hour-long meeting and pressed record, but saved it to the wrong place (not the Zoom cloud). Is there any way to get it back to Zoom so that people can view it there now that the meeting is over? I don't see a way to upload a file -- just a way to download prior meetings. If that isn't possible, what other options would you recommend for hosting an hour-long video that people could pay to watch? My own site? YouTube? Vimeo? Thx!

Recently the data used has increased on my recordings to the cloud. My meeting length hasn't changed. Does anyone know why or how I can minimize?

We offer classes for senior citizens. I wanted to test the recording disclaimer so I turned it on in our account. We don't think it will work to have seniors agree or cancel so I want to turn it off. I've tried to do so but it appears Zoom still requires it for "guests." Can anyone help?   Secondly, we want to use the new post-meeting survey feature using a third-party survey (from our website). However, it appears that Zoom requires clicking on a Survey button first and then another button to get to the outside survey. Looking for any suggestions to get rid of the first button.

Hello,I want to make a live webinar (with manual approving) that will be later available on-demand for both:those registered and approved for the live session;those registering after the scheduled date (upon approval).Will those people who registered for the live session have to register again to access on-demand content?Or can they access it using ther custom link to the live session? Additionally, is it possible to access and watch on-demand webinars multiple times or one-time only? Appreciate your help.

A handful of our participants didn't make it to their pre-assigned breakout rooms. They were using the Zoom accounts they signed up with. Also, I couldn't assign them to their rooms from the main room. Any clues on how to resolve before tonight's meeting? @Nafi @Bort 

Can participants be approved during a meeting? SINCE days ago I had a meeting and I was the host, the fact is that just started the meeting, more people continued to register for the event and I could not access the option to approve since I had configured manual instead of automatic, because there was a cost and people we didn't know.Is there any way to continue approving manually so that they receive the respective confirmation link and so they can access the meeting? I would really appreciate any solution on this

Hello everybody.I am Alex from Portugal and I need help.I am struggling to establish a linked to the host of a meeting of a class in a course I want to attend, but after putting the ID of the recipient who sent me the invitation link to all the classes and the password, I do not know If I can call it an error, but it always appears at the top of the zoom window screen: it does not respond/trying to connect...Can someone from the Zoom community help me solve this technical problem?I take the opportunity to warn that I only have no connection on any computer for these undergraduate meetings. All other calls with other people or places were successfully established by Zoom.It's not a problem of my computer.

My zoom recording only captured audio via m4a file. Is there any way to view the video ? Perhaps convert it to an MP4?  I tried a third-party tool Zamzar - - it converted it to MP4 - but still no video.it was an announcement from my 93 year old mom.  Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

I deleted a recording and I also empty the Trash and I need to retrieve the recording now.  Is there a way to retrieve the iCloud recording six months later? Thanks for anyone's help in advance!

Hi,I'm shocked.I got my access to my option webinar cancelled (annual billing) without notice. Losing my past event archive and current planned event (next week).If I re-subscribe now, will I find back all my past and current record as I it was.Thanks for you inputs.

Apple has updated Ventura and I cannot download Zoom on my new desktop OS. Zoom had addressed this same issue in the earlier version of Ventura.

Hello!   I just finished a meeting where I was originally not the host, but was given host permissions after the host left. I recorded the meeting and selected save to cloud. However, I am unable to locate this video.   I tried to submit a help ticket, but was rejected. Any advice would be fantastic.   Thank you!
