There is a sharp increase in the demand for Zoom calls requiring simultaneous interpretation.  While this function has many excellent qualities, in practice we have identified some important gaps.  To respond to this demand and provide quality service, we are forced to implement makeshift patches to compensate for certain limitations in Zoom’s service.  Below is a list of suggestions compiled over the past months of intensive, daily use of Zoom’s Interpretation function.    The suggestions marked in bold would have the greatest positive impact for all involved. These changes would aid interpreters in using industry best practices, create ease of management/use for meeting hosts, and expand accessibility for people with limited internet access, among other things. They would also encourage us to continue recommending Zoom to our clients, rather than researching other options to recommend.   Management: Allow co-hosts to manage interpretation feature 

We have a very important event coming up, I would like to record it to our icloud account but just a few days ago-although my iphone was on 4K, when we went back to produce the program, the video was just about the worst I have ever seen it--- compared to ANY  time EVER I've ever recorded something. What are other organizations doing to try to improve quality? I was shocked to see the product. I've tried to get help for our account, but a bot is there to not connect me. When I'm frustrated and disappointed, the bots turn me into someone who isn't rational!thank you for any help ahead of time...

I can't find any information on the Zoom site about how to become a meeting host and schedule a meeting. Can anyone help?

I need help. I need to delete a user and all the instructions tell me there is a "delete" button under the ... there isnt on a mac. Please tell me how to delete a user.   Also, why is Canada not listed in the contact centre with a phone number? Thank you.

I created a Zoom meeting with required questions that have to be answered by attendees when registering for the event.  I also created the same event in Eventbrite.  After connecting to Zoom from Eventbrite and specifying the meeting I want to attach to, an error message is displayed by Eventbrite  directing me to disable the required questions before the connection can be established. Disabling the required questions is non-negotiable since the a larger number of attendees will be registering using the Zoom registration link,  and we need to capture the lead information.  The Eventbrite "event" is configured with a maximum of only  25 tickets. Question:  Is there a workaround to this issue to allow Eventbrite registrants to be automatically registered in Zoom through the integration? Additional Info: I attempted to use Zapier but in setting up the Zap,  Zapier is requiring me to insert attendee biographical information. All the meetings I schedule are sent to people in all different US/CAN time zones. When the recipient registers for a meeting, the email confirmation always shows the meeting time in Eastern Time (my time zone). Is there a way for the confirmation email to show the meeting time in the recipient's time zone? This is causing meetings to be missed as the recipients are overlooking the time showing in Eastern Time.

I would like to make people actively agree on a set of ground rules before they enter the meeting, for example in waiting room. Does anyone know how to do it?

Is there a way to make it so that those in my Users group do not need to register to enter my meetings but those not in my user group need to register for it?

I'm sorry if this isn't the correct area, but I could use some advice.I've just updated to Zoom Workplace, and now have two blue and white arrows that are on top of any app. They are definitely Zoom related, as when I close the app they disappear, and then reappear when I open it. I've tried hovering over them but there is nothing. They don't click. Nothing seems to work. I've had a look through all of the settings I can think of, but can't find out what this feature is, or how to turn it off. Would anyone have an idea?  

We generally love AI Companion for meeting summaries, but some users have meetings where they don't want AI Companion to be used at all. I have AI Companion set to not turn on automatically for the account. However, I am unclear if a participant can turn on AI Companion on their client without the host's permission. Is there a way to turn off AI Companion for specific meetings/webinars? 

Hello! I used the Production Studio for the first time today for a webinar -- mostly to incorporate a branded wallpaper and better layout for a shared screen and speaker video. It looked really good for me in the Production Studio preview and live screens, but the whole screen (wallpaper, slides, speaker video and name tag) looked distractedly blurry for a co-worker who jumped in the webinar as an attendee. Same deal for the Production Studio version of the recording, which apparently only had a 640x360 frame width/height. Has anyone else experienced anything similar or have an idea why the recording and attendee view turned out so blurry? I thought maybe it could have something to do with the resolution of the wallpaper but was coming up empty on any other theories. Thanks in advance for any help or insights!

I tried creating a webinar. The "Require attendees to authenticate to join: Sign in to Zoom" check-box is selected.Users are getting an error message while trying to register: "This webinar is for authorized registrants only." We want to count the number of attendees and hence the option is enabled. How can we cater to both the cases simultaneously.[Count the number of attendees as well as allow users to register without getting this error message] 

Hello,  If I want to teach a group of 5 people, is Zoom able to have them share all of their screens with me at the same time, but the participants cannot view the other participant's screens? If I want the students to show me what they are working on without me going into different breakout rooms and leaving them alone, I want to supervise them while working, but the other members cannot see what each other is working on.  TIA 

Hello!, I am new with Zoom. I bought Zoom One PRO license, and now I would like that another person be able to create meeting too. Because I can't meet with my group always, and I need that someone else do the meetings in my name.  I tried to get information, but I found that zoom is very complecated, have a lot of information, and very little simple explanations. I guess that I need to buy another license of Zoom One Pro, in order to give it to the second person. am I right?. or is there another option?.. Thanks 

Friends,Our church organization uses Zoom once a week to broadcast Sunday service, we have the Pro Plan.  Up to a couple of years ago once you chose your audio & video settings for the account they stayed that way until you changed them.  The audio setting "Sound For Musicians" works great for us.  We use bells and such and the compression/gating of the noise reduction ruins our sermons unless it's set to "Sound For Musicians''.  Some brainiac at Zoom thought it would be a good idea to require you to have to check that box for "Sound For Musicians" on the screen each time you have a meeting.  Our volunteers are elderly mostly.  Their experience with AV is operating the remote for their tv.  So 90% of the time they forget to check the box. My question is: does the new option to "Create a Profile" allow me to save all the Audio & Video settings for the profile of my account?Does anyone know of a way to be able to set "Sound For Mu

I recorded a meeting, got the email from ZOOM with link to cloud recording and passcode. when i click the link, enter passcode, i get the message 'media could not be loaded. either because server or network failed or format is not supported.'I tried accessing this on Windows laptop, iPhone and then on another personal laptop with google OS. All 3 gave same format error. How can i record a zoom meeting that is sharable ? 

Hello All,Looking for some help either 1) Finding the reporting information I'm looking for if it exists 2) Problem solving an issue our organization is running into. Currently we have several call queues setup throughout our organization.  However, a lot of our call reporting data is being skewed because users forget to turn off the "receive call queue" button when they should.  I don't believe this can be set for a period of time(1 hour, 1 week etc) like the Zoom Phone Statuses can.    My question for everyone is multi layered.  1) Is there a way to automatically change the call queue status to mirror say the computer being locked?  2).  If no to #1, is there a way to generate a reminder after a certain period that the user is still logged out of the queue?  3)  Is there any possible way to set Do Not Disturb for a week(or more) if the user is gone on vacation?  It appears 24 hours is the max.  4) Is there a report that

I can't find the registration custom question information for the event. Where would I find that? I downloaded General Ticket Registration which doesn't have that information. Once in a while, that CSV file has no information. I saw it one time couple of days ago, and now it is missing. Please can someone help. Chatbox isn't helpful either. The event is in 3 days and I don't have the complete data yet. Any help is appreciated. I feel like it was a mistake of using the zoom events. I should have gone with regular webinar.

For some reason no audio works on our Pro account unless you dial in.People with Iphones need to dial in and not use the app.  Also our board room computers will not work for computer audio anymore. Is anyone else having this issue??ThanksMatt

Dear All, We use a Zoom Pro account for our church and record our services. We use PowerPoint which is shared to those on Zoom. That works well; however, what doesn't is the resulting recording: as you'll see in the attached screenshot, the PowerPoint slide is taking up 95% of the screen, and the camera view is a tiny % at the top right of the screen. Is it possible to fix this? In an ideal world, I'd have the PPT slide and the camera view about the same size. Having tried - and failed - with lots of tests, I'd be grateful for any suggestions. I accidentally started my zoom meeting four hours early. How can I close it yet keep the link distributed to participants valid? My meeting is live right now.

Can someone tell me if hyperlinks in Follow Up emails are still not available? We do multiple webinars throughout the year and send out the recordings (these are edited and uploaded to vimeo) with the follow up email. It looks so unprofessional to have to add the full vimeo link rather than hyperlink. An example is given when you first go to the template but that doesn't work either a href=http://www.example.com>Example</a>Any help would be appreciated!

After setting the MTG from the zoom schedule, I will send an attendance request to both A and B from Outlook at the same time.A receives the correct meeting link, but for some reason B receives the old meeting link.Both of them use Outlook on Android. They received an invitation email in outlook, and when B opens the attached ics file, it is a past mtg invitation.

My question is my cancellation is effective May 27, but I have a webinar scheduled for that day. Do you think I will still be able to conduct that webinar?

How can i tell if my meetins can host 1000 participants? i upgraded the plan and added it the email of the owner of the account (me) but when i go to accounts on the web portal it still shows 100 limit but 1000 limit on other site
