Zoom has just started crashing on my laptop (Lenovo)  whenever I close my video or join a breakout room - this has just started happening (downloaded latest zoom a few weeks ago without a problem) and has happened on different wifis - but is fine on my phone I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and restarting the laptop - any other suggestions - it's seriously impeding my ability to work!

I have a zoom account but for some reason I do not have recording option on my screen. I have used an HP laptop and a chrome book but still no recording option. Please help. I have to record a meeting for school.

I'm looking for the best settings I can have for recording an interview over Zoom. It seems every time I record it looks fine on the Zoom then when the recording is saved it is pixelated and loses quality! Help please! TY

I'm trying to schedule 7-9 meetings that recur monthly but not on the same date (eg, first Tuesday of the month, or on the 15th of every month). The day of the month changes with each monthly occurrence but I'd like to list all the meetings under the same passcode. ideas? (Apologies if this has been previously answered.)

1) Will Zoom Rooms Device Control (JSON script that can control TVs and other devices) operate on Logitech RoomMate or Rally Bar in appliance mode? We would like to set them up with Tap IP but could alternatively use iPads if it makes a difference. 2) Where do the IP commands to the controlled devices come from?

We have encountered a slightly strange scenario with our Zoom Room's set up whereby, the active speaker window does not show the active speaker in that particular room. Let's say we have a meeting room with 3 participants Meeting Room A, which is configured: To display a thumbnail view when no content is sharedTo display a thumbnail view when content is being sharedMeeting Room B, which is configured: To display a thumbnail view when no content is sharedTo display a thumbnail view when content is being sharedUser C, who is joining the meeting using the laptop and using the latest version of the Zoom client app. All three users are connected to one common meeting, and all users are seeing the meeting in a thumbnail view with the participants at the top of the screen, and a large active speaker window below that. The meeting begins and the presenter in Meeting Room A speaks, and then hands over to Meeting Room B and that speaker then speaks. H

I'm trying to use the "slides as a virtual background" feature to record a voice-over on a PowerPoint presentation. In the Zoom app, the feature appears to work as intended (I see my slides and my face superimposed on the slides in the bottom-left corner). However, when I record the meeting to my computer and view the video afterwards, I instead see my face appear in a white box in the upper-right corner of the screen. I would like the video recording to appear as it does in the app: with my face in the bottom-left corner, and the slides as a virtual background. FWIW, I have experienced this on both Windows and Mac systems, using up-to-date versions of Zoom (6.0.10). Thank you!

Hi everyone.I've  set up a meeting that I've been promoting which will involve speakers who will present topics.This meeting will stream to FB and YouTube - but on reflection, I really would like to speak with the presenters a few mins before it starts so that everything runs as seamlessly as possible.The problem is, I've set it up so that it'll stream automatically.Is there any way I can stop it from streaming until 'we're ready'? People have already 'registered' through FB so I don't really want to fiddle with the session at FB or YT in case it mucks that up, but I don't really know if it will? I know i can start streaming from within Zoom (as I have the social media links set up) so I guess I could simply delete the sessions and 'stream when ready' - but would refer not to if there was a better way of dealing with this?ThanksNeil

I have also paid for the Zoom Webinar with 500 attendees.If I create a webinar and add a free licensed account as an alternative host, will this free licensed account have full capabilities for this webinar?

I have a Dell Inspiron 24 5415 AIO with a Realtek audio device.  The computer came with the MaxxAudioPro app installed as well.  I have two weekly calls.  One which is a discussion and one which is a musical performance.  During the discussion call, I have no problems.  During the musical performances, I constantly have problems.  It works until the volume from the source gets loud (musical instruments, loud voices, etc.). I have found online a suggestion of uninstalling the Realtek audio driver.  When I do this, no sound works on the entire computer.  I can listen to even louder audio from other sources (e.g. a YouTube video) without issue.  I assume this is going to be some sort of interoperability issue between Zoom and my audio device, perhaps related to compression?  I have gone through some more of the obvious troubleshooting steps (Windows updates, driver updates, Zoom update, etc.) with no effect. Changing the output f

I'm using the latest Ppt on a Mac (Sonoma) and have a paid Zoom account.I have a single large monitor.I want to Share Screen a Ppt presentation in Presenter mode (ie with notes and Next Slide), and have only the slide visible to the attendees but the full Presenter mode visible to me.I have seen reference to an advanced Share Screen setting which would allow me to restrict what  portion of the attendees see, but that is not available to me.Can anyone assist with this?ThanksCaroline

I need insight into use of my Logitech Brio software, called Capture.  It has clear compatibility issues with a Zoom session, and might be the cause of Zoom locking up altogether.  The two used to play nice, but apparently not any longer.  I really need to use Capture, for Zoom lacks several of its important capabilities. 1. Delayed video.  When Capture is used (it must be run before starting a Zoom session), the video is delayed as much as several seconds.  The delay varies from session to session, but is always present.  When not running Capture (choosing the Brio camera rather than Capture), there is a slight delay, but less than a second and grudgingly acceptable. 2. Zoom video freezes.  This behavior varies.  Sometimes the video freezes almost immediately, sometimes not for several minutes.  Ending participation and restarting the session restores video, but the problem reoccurs. Not sure why multicolored party balloons are appearing in my background all of the sudden around half way through meetings (not my birthday or any special occasion I am aware of).  I have not changed my settings in Zoom, though did just update my iPad operating system to latest version).  I’ve had worse problems but it’s a little annoying during professional meetings.  Any thoughts?

I am running the licensed version of Zoom in the classroom.  I have a dual monitor set up.  My primary use to is to record the lectures and the computer screen so students can review the class later.  There may be some class periods where there are no students connected to Zoom because they made it to class.  I am using one screen as my primary screen where I am presenting my material (e.g., PowerPoints) to the student.  My second monitor is so I can monitor what Zoom is doing as well as any students who may be connected via Zoom.   Start my class, have Zoom set to record and save to my computer when I end the meeting. First class, forget to share the screen so I didn’t record my shared screen and didn’t realize it until I looked at the recording later.  😯  I do realize that the status bar will show if I am sharing but it is easy for me to miss that as I get into my lecture and not paying attention to the status bar.  Oops.

In a webinar, is there a way to have an ASL interpreter appear smaller than the main presentation window or give people the option to minimize the interpreter if they do not need ASL? 

I have a Pro Account, through my company, but when I log in, it shows Basic, and I am limited to 40-minute meetings, and the number of participants I can invite. I was able to use my Pro access, until about a week ago, but no matter what I do, I can't revert back to Pro from Basic. I tried contacting Zoom Support, but that was no help.

Scenario: person A has a 3000 limit webinar license, person B 500 webinar license.  Person A schedules a webinar making person B the alternate host.  Person B starts the webinar.2 questions:1) Since person A isn't on when the webinar starts, which license limit is used - for Person A or B?2) If the answer is B (and 500 people are joined), what happens to the license limit when A logs in?  Will the count automatically go up so anyone who wasn't able to join will now be able to?

Hi,  I have bought licenses and added team members as admins with their own email addresses, when they log in to Zoom using those email addresses they are not able to start meetings that are scheduled while being signed into my email in my Zoom Account.  Can someone help me?
