Was in a zoom meeting with 100+ people and tried to send a direct message to a participant and instead it sent a direct message to everyone. ie everyone got a direct message from me (distinct from a post from me to everyone). You can imagine the confusion. In the message log it listed no recipient just the word 'You' and the time. If it makes any difference the person I was messaging just has a 6 digit number as their name (the reason I was messaging them - to ask them to change it so we knew who they were)Any ideas anybody?

I use my personal Zoom Room link for all of my client meetings throughout the day.  It seems that with new update this room is gone and new ID is populated for every session.  Is there a way to get a single Zoom ID back? Thank you 

Hello. I am trying to set up hosting from Zoom and when I select "screen sharing", the "Basic" tab/button is missing. I just see "Screens/ Documents/ Advanced" at the top of the screen, but Basic is not there. I've checked online but can't see anything. I'm not sure if this is an Apple security issue or a Zoom issue?  I am using version 6.0.2MacBook Pro M3 Any help appreciated. 

Ever since I got a new work computer I cannot see someone's screen when they share. Instead, there is a frozen screen of everyone else in their squares attending.  It makes me wonder if its the settings on computer or something but why- why would my company have some setting on Zoom where I cannot see when people share.  Makes zero sense so don't think that is it.  And this is driving me bonkers!!!  Also this is happening with multiple different meetings- not isolated to one.  Thanks much!

Hello How do you change the group chat profile picture since I tried but nothing shows up to change it

Hi, Since Zoom adopted it's dreadful new interface a few months ago, sometimes when I start up the program, I can't find my meetings. I have around 30 meetings set up, which I use on an ad hoc basis. All of them are reoccurring but are not set for a particular time.Anyway, sometimes when I click on 'Meetings', they are there at the bottom, underneath the huge empty space for the calendar/scheduler I will never use. However sometimes, apparently randomly, they don't show up at all, so I have to go onto the website, login (for some reason Zoom does not allow me to stay logged in), and open the meeting that way, which takes longer and is inconvenient. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know how I can solve this, or ideally go back to the classic Zoom interface, when the company understood that it was a video platform, and not a calendar service? 

When I am typing in Keynote or in Pages, it interrupts typing ( both my own and my client's when they are typing on my screen). We suddenly hear a chime for each key as we type, indicating typing on the screen has stopped. Sometimes, the Zoom home screen pops up, and we have to click on the page again to make it go away and resume typing. Sometimes, it happens 10-15 times in an hour. This just started happening in 2025. Help!   

If I have PMI meetings with my link set up as recurring for someone else to use and I plan a meeting at the same time with an auto generated link, can I use zoom this way? I have in the past but the past couple of months, If I do this when I go to 'join' the auto generated link I end up in the meeting using my PMI?

We are trying to build out lessons on the Zoomwhiteboard and would like to embed some videos and interactive sites, but we are running into an issue that one person cannot press play and everyone sees the same video/activity. Everyone needs to click play to see their own copy of the iframe. Is there a way to have everyone view/interact with the same frame.

Currently, if a new computer logs into our Zoom account the owner of the account receives the email with the code to log in. If we add a second license to our account, will both the owner of the account and the license holder receive the email? 

My parents just got an Alexa Echo and the Zoom app on it suffers from some serious problems. How do we report them?

(1) If I add another person to a Zoom Pro personal account, do they sign in using my email address or their own? (2) Will our meetings be shown on each other's account?(3) Is the time limit 40 minutes or 30 hours?

I would like to use my current Zoom account to record a audio/video podcast for download to Spotify etc and Youtube. I have researched and get very different recommendations for settings (audio and recording). Also, it is recommended to do separate audio tracks, but not sure how I can then post to Youtube. Any guidance appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I keep reading through the setup documents but am not finding the exact answer I am looking for.  All I am trying to do is setup so zoom meetings show as events in salesforce.  I have installed the Salesforce Lightning App.   In the Zoom User Config tab in Salesforce I see where I can Authorize access to permitted Zoom APIs to sync Zoom Meeting information to Salesforce.  Should this be a SF Admin?   A Zoom Admin?   Someone who is a SF Admin and Zoom Admin?When I use my login (SF Admin) I see my meetings but will others in the company meetings sync?  I noticed that is a only time link for only one person Do all users need to connect to zoom in Saleforce?  If so, where do they do that? 

Is there a deadline for participants to register for the webinar....for example, if the meeting starts at 1:00pm- do they have until 12:59pm (one minute before), 12:00pm (1 hour before), etc before not being after to join the meeting in progress....?

I am doing a movie screening for 50 viewers.  When I share my screen the participants are able to see and hear the movie; however, I can barely hear the sound on my end. I checked my Ipad volume and it’s at the highest volume.   Also, is it possible to control their audio capabilities (mute everyone) before the start of the meeting?  And finally, is there a way to see only the movie I’m screen sharing?  In otherwords, can all of the participant boxes be hidden during the movie?   Thank you for your help. Renay

Zoomで音声共有や、動画共有をしたとき、毎回ではないのですが、音割れのトラブルがあります。Zoomを起動せずに動画や音声を流したときにそのようなトラブルはないのですが、Zoomで音声共有や動画共有をすると、mp3やwmvの音声や動画の音声が途切れ途切れになることがあり、とても困っています。動画自体はスムーズに流れているのですが、音声のみが途切れ途切れになります。対処法を教えていただけますとありがたいです。Zoomはアップデート済みで最新版です。

When watching a recording provided by my uni via a link, I am not given to option to enable captions, however the lecturer who uploaded the recording tells me that the CC button is visible for her when she clicks the same link from the same page as I would access.  All captioning settings look to be active - is there something missing that needs to be enabled? Thanks

I'm trying to change the meeting invitation email language to French. When I asked to be sent a sample email it works, but when I generate a new meeting it reverts automatically to English. Anyone else has this issue or have an idea how to solve it? Thanks

When I schedule a meeting via my Zoom desktop app, an email is automatically created in my outlook and I send it off. Previously, the email had a nice Zoom logo and layout, but since October the email has only had boring text and a link to the meeting. How do I get the Zoom logo and layout back in the email?I'm not interested in customising the email with my own logo.

I am using Zoom for teaching and recording the lectures. Some of the lectures include alot of numerical calculations, for which I am using a whiteboard. Previously, I was using Miro white board, and it worked excellent.Now; I wanted to use Zoom whiteboard. Although the whiteboard writing in not lagging with the audio for other participants, this is not the case for the recording.So, there is a 5-6 seconds lag between audio/video recording and whiteboard writing. I have tried different solutions (turning off camera, AI assistance, host only using the whiteboard,...), but nothing is working.This is extremely disappointing as we are paying for the Zoom, and its whiteboard seems not to function properly, even for basic functions, while free whiteboards such as those from Miro are working flawlessly.Can something be done regarding this issue? Thank you! 

The sound of the interpretation audio becomes quieter and louder.We tested this problem by changing the PC, changing the microphone, changing various settings.However, this is a problem for the Zoom platform.The interpretation audio didn't sound smooth.But the original sound audio also sounds smooth.Please solve this part as soon as possible.Thank you.

We are looking to use the Redact Personal Data feature in Zoom, but it doesn't seem this works for CVV and expiration date. Has anyone else had this issue and have you found anything that works?

I'm getting a JSON configuration error once the JSON file is loaded. The Zoom software accepts the file with no errors but after 30 seconds the error message pops up " JSON Configuration error".   This file is to add 3 buttons onto the Zoom Panel interface. We need to send serial strings via IP to a Lightware device. This Lightware device sends the commands out of its com port to a TV mount com port to control a TV mount. Just this week, a green rectangle is now on my top tool bar and every time I join a zoom, the green rectangle has a pop-up that says my Reactions are turned off. I have to "x out" the pop-up box multiple times to make it go away. How do I turn this off completely?
