Hiya so I'm having a problem during online music classes where I am unable to hear the teacher playing music due to the background noises being suppressed however I am the only one in the meeting who cannot hear the music! Other members in the meeting can, and the teacher has the original audio for musicians setting on. It's like my computer is the only one that doesn't know this setting has been changed. Struggling to find a fix for this as everywhere is just suggesting to make sure they have original audio on which they do! And I can hear the music when joining on my phone just not on my laptop. What can I do?
Instructions say to check what version zoom you have go to your profile picture and click help and then about to get to that option. When I go to my profile picture there is no option for help. Any suggestions welcome. Trying to determine what is the latest version and download it if I don't have it. When I go to the download center nothing happens when I try to download 5.9.
Good day! I am experiencing an issue when opening the zoom. When I open zoom for a meeting, it automatically open different windows. My face in a different window, and the other participants in another windows. May I know how to fix this issue?
Why do I get this message and no meeting summary?A summary and next steps for Rebecca & JD Meeting could not be generated due toinsufficient transcript.John
Hello,I do not have a 'reactions' button on the bottom of my screen anymore. It may have disappeared since the last update, but I am not 100% sure.I am in the middle of a two-day meeting as an attendee. I have an account through my workplace.I cannot find a way to indicate a 'raised hand'. I can submit a screenshot , but I can't see an option to attach it. I use a MacBook Pro, and I believe I was on Chrome today, but I also have Safari as an option.Suggestions? Thank you!
I am experiencing an issue with sharing both computer audio and screen simultaneously during a webinar session on Zoom. Here are the details of the problem:I am using a Zoom Webinar plan and hosting webinar sessions. When I attempt to share my screen during the webinar, the "Share Sound" checkbox is visible but grayed out, making it impossible to enable sound sharing. If I go to the "Advanced" tab in the screen sharing menu and choose "Computer Audio Only," the computer sound is shared successfully, but the screen is not shared. This issue occurs on multiple PCs, not just mine, so it seems to be a broader issue rather than a device-specific one.I have already checked the following:My Zoom client is up to date. The settings in my Zoom account on the web portal do not seem to provide any option to enable or disable computer audio sharing. My computer's audio and microphone settings are configured correctly.I am the host during the session, so permissions are not an issue.
Hi, I recently updated to Fedora 35 with GNOME 41. This GNOME release restricts the screenshot API which Zoom has used for screen sharing on Wayland, so the screen sharing functionality no longer works (see here on Ask Fedora). I require screen sharing for school, and I'm sure many others have a similar requirement/system configuration. With Wayland increasingly becoming a de facto standard on Linux, it is crucial that Zoom support Wayland screen sharing.
I am a single Zoom Account user with a single family Microsoft 365 account, not a workplace acount. The directions given to switch over to the new authentication protocol using Nested App Authentication (NAA) just don't work for me. Can someone please direct me to a workflow that works? Windows 11, Updated Zoom, current Microsoft Family 365 account. Dear Valued Customer, Microsoft is deprecating Outlook legacy tokens with their introduction of a new authentication protocol, Nested App Authentication (NAA). This change will impact the Zoom for Outlook add-in's ability to access calendar data effectively. To ensure uninterrupted functionality, action is required by the week of January 27, 2025. Please use the steps in the support article for uninterrupted service. If NAA is not enabled, you may encounter the following issues:Inability to update single occurrences in a recurring meeting series.Loss of functionality due to deprecated callback tokens.Compatibility issue
I've tried to contact Zoom sales, support, and chat but I have not been able to get an answer. I'm one of the thousands affected by Skype discontinuing, so I am looking for alternative phone platforms. I see Zoom added phones in 2019, so potentially a good option since it seems to function just like Skype (your own phone number, cellular data or wifi calling, make or receive calls). I like Zoom as a platform and use it regularly for video conferencing. I've had a Zoom Pro account since 2016 and, therefore, have legacy pricing of $99.90 per year. I don't want to lose that because Zoom conferencing is vital to my work. It might be nice to have phone and video conferencing bundled together. First question: Can I port my Skype number to Zoom? (lots of places say they will accept ported numbers, but the fine print says they won't accept Skype numbers. I have not found one yet that accepts Skype numbers) Second, and more important, question: If I go with a Zoo
Can someone tell me the actual DNS records to use for domain name verification? I'm trying to verify our domain name, and it seems like there's incomplete and conflicting information. The instructions in the verification popup give me a domain-level TXT record, OK that's done. Then it says it wants a CNAME to "events-branding.zoom.us," but doesn't give me a subdomain for that CNAME record. If I try to use "events-branding" as the subdomain for the CNAME record, then in the verification failure error message it says my A record was not found. But they didn't tell me to create an A record! And over in a help document, it says to create a different TXT record for a subdomain as well as an A record, but doesn't give me an IP address to point the A record to! So, could someone who has successfully verified their domain for branding share what DNS records they created?
I'm looking to find a way to setup an audio alert, on my computer not my phone, when a Zoom contact calls. Skype has this feature and it is very useful. I can hear the ringing and quickly go to my computer to 'pickup'. Can't do that with Zoom or at least I can't find a way to setup such a feature. Is it possible? Thank you for any help you can provide. I'm obviously a recent transfer from Skype to Zoom as a result of Skype being discontinued in May 2025.
Is it possible to sync the Opt-In/Out Verification status from within Zoom Phone over to a Salesforce contact?Currently, I only see this status live within he SMS Logs within Phone System Management.
I am unable to set up integration with Apple calendar or contacts. Help!

I like to record Zoom meetings for podcasts, but my computer has lately been restarting itself randomly. I'm worried that if it does this while I am recording, I will lose all the material I have recorded. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening in the event my computer does restart spontaneously during a recording? Will it make a difference if I record locally or to the cloud? Please reply soon as I'm doing my next recording this Sunday! Thank you.

When I was the host for an MNC series of webinars on HVAC topics, I was told that it is not advisable to have a breakout room as the audience may be too large to handle? But when I tried it out during one of the webinars, I noticed it is possible to do so but you need to prepare your breakout room in advance. You need to do some management of likeminded participant to ensure the audience do not get passive in their interactions. Do share what are your strategies for keeping your breakout room engaged and participative especially for the shy Asian audiences.

Yesterday we hosted webinar. There were problems with receiving link to join, especially for people who we manually approved the day (they didn't receive it). What could be wrong? Notifications were set for one day and one hour before the webinar. Later that day, two hours after we finished our webinar, Zoom send another invitation for that webinar to everyone - why would it send it again after its done? Thank you.
Seriously Zoom's products are pretty great compared to the competition but I don't understand how they are missing the most basic functionality on something so simple. You have day, work week, week, and agenda views, but no monthly view? Would love to see this added.
I’m on a Mac using iCal for calendaring. My clients use Outlook (about half Mac and half Windows). What’s the best way for me to send meeting notices for Zoom meetings that will show up in their Outlook calendars? Thanks.
