Considering "Zoom trolling" has become a popular YouTube trend, I hope that zoom would do more to help prevent these types of interruptions. One feature that would help is to automatically block any users that go over a certain decibel level. Often these users use tactics of "jump scares" and use loud clips to jolt members.I hope that Zoom can implement this and other strategies so we can continue to actually do our work.
I am unable to sign in to my account because I am not receiving the verification code sen to my phone by SMS. And it is impossible to contact support since all support options need me to sign in. I had this issue since months. Finally, I created a new account to be able to post here. This is what I tried so far: 1) Tried creating a support ticket (asks me to sign in)2) Tried to get help using the chatbot (directs me to the sign in page)3) Tried to post here in the community pages (asks me to sign in)4) Tried phone support (asks for an ID which I can only access by signing in)5) Created an alternative account to create a ticket (ticket automatically closed saying I need to sign in with the account with the issue) This is like a joke ! Can someone please help me?
I cannot find "previous" meetings while using Zoom Workplace. I do see "previous" meetings when I log into zoom.com. Thank you!
My business runs virtual meetings using the Zoom Events platform. Each meeting includes ~20 polling questions. Historically, I've exported the results from each poll on a user-by-user basis ("PollResults.csv" which is exported via a zip file). For my past two programs, however, the zip file contains incomplete/corrupted data. The data is clearly there - I can see polling results in aggregate in my analytics summary. I can no longer rely on the Zoom polling feature. I've opened a support ticket and was told "our engineering team is working with our Dev team to investigate this, they believe that the last update caused this change" Though I'd love some resolution with this post, I'm mostly sharing for anyone who has experienced similar issues. There's really no sense in me continuing to pay for Zoom Events when a critical feature is so broken. Best,Henry
See attached. It happens at the start of every meeting when I turn on my video until I click on it to go away.
Hi all, I'm currently hosting a webinar with an audience who is trying to access translated closed captions in Spanish... after following the setup instructions found in Zoom Support, we found that the only option to select is English. Also, I noticed that I was only able to translate the support article itself into English and one other language with Asian characters. Do we know if there's an outage on language translators currently happening?
Hi there! I have just set up a one-on-one event that I will send to a group of students for them to make individual appointments with me via Zoom. I've set everything up (configured my available times and synced it to my Outlook calendar) and it's all fine EXCEPT for one date. When I look at my available appointments for this specific day (a Friday), my available times jump from 12pm to 5:30pm as if the Scheduler is seeing that I have a conflicting event on the synced Outlook calendar--except there isn't anything on my Outlook calendar. I've tried to remove this Friday from the available days and add it as a specific day with special availability. I've also double and triple checked my Outlook calendar to make sure there isn't an event I'm not seeing--I have nothing scheduled for that day. Am I missing something? Are there other parameters I can change to bypass this? Thanks in advance for your help!
I updated my MacBook (macOS Sequoia v15.3.1) and can no longer log in to my account (error code 5003). I have uninstalled Zoom, restarted my MacBook, installed Zoom, and restarted again (multiple times). And I am still receiving the same error code. Apart from updating my MacBook, nothing else has changed. What should I do now?
We recently updated our redirect URL, which was functioning correctly in the staging environment. However, in production, we encounter 4700 "Invalid redirect" error during the OAuth authorization process. Despite adding the new redirect URL to the "OAuth Allow Lists," redirection issues persist in production. Staging Environment:Users access our application. They are redirected to the Zoom authorization page.Upon authorization, users return to our application with an authorization code. This code is exchanged with Zoom for access and refresh tokens successfully.Production Environment:Users attempting authorization receive the following error:https://zoom.us/oauth/authorize?response_type=codeError: 4700 "Invalid redirect"Client Id and Client secret remains the same. The change only is in updating the new redirect url.
Hello! I keep having an issue where I create an appointment in Outlook and use the Zoom plugin to provide a link to the appointment, but the time does not translate over to zoom properly. For example, I created an invite for 9/29 at 1PM EST but on Zoom, it shows up as 9/29 at 12AMEST. I have no idea why this keeps happening. It is confusing for my clients because they are seeing 2 different times on the Outlook calendar invite I sent them vs. what Zoom shows and it makes me look unorganized/unprofessional when I'm just trying to use the features. This seems to happen when sending an invite to clients in a different time zone, but sometimes it doesn't happen. Any guidance is helpful. Thank you! Ashley
We are receiving complaints from phone users where their calls are being rejected. When we look at logs, we can see that the user/delegate's iPhone is rejecting the call. When we provide that information to the user/delegate, they are advising that their Zoom mobile app never rang and that they definitely didn't reject the call from their mobile app. The cell is not on Do Not Disturb. This issue has been noticed multiple times and we get the same response from the users, that they didn't touch their cell and their cell never rang.
I have an LTI 1.1 link setup in Moodle, and I am getting the following error message when I attempt to join a meeting:Invalid access token, does not contain permissions:[User:Read]. Error Code 200 - v=2.0;clid=aw1;rid=INT_487f1d7d13a1edfa Any ideas?
I'm working on Chrome for Mac, and using the Zoom Chrome Extension with Google Calendar. Up to now, I've been very used to the way the invites are created in my google calendar when I click the "Make it a Zoom Meeting" button while creating a calendar invite: I click the button, the description of the meeting is then populated with a VERY long text that includes lots of different ways to join the meeting. Fine. I appreciate all the methods of joining just in case people are international, or on their phones etc etc. Lately however, I've noticed some coworkers have meetings invites that are much tidier and the long text is not included in the description. But, rather, a nice set of links, including phone numbers for multiple countries is already at the top of the invite instead of in the description. I've asked these coworkers what they do differently, and they say all they do is click the "Make it a Zoom Meeting" button when creating the invi
I have a Poly Studio X30 that was working fine a couple of weeks back. Now my iPad controller does not detect a mic. There is no microphone option. If i change the Studio X30 to device mode, I can connect a laptop use studio x30 mic and speakert then i open zoom workspace and it works fine. What could be causing the problem?
I created a whiteboard a few months ago that I have been using weekly in my meeting. Until today, participants have been able to see what I am typing in realtime and see when my cursor highlights words or sentences. Today however, they could only see the new information after I stopped typing and the whiteboard finished saving. I have checked that everyone has collaborator status, and the only thing that I have done differently was that I had shared the whiteboard with them and set them as editors. I tried changing their collaborator status, unsharing the whiteboard, closing the whiteboard and re-opening it. Nothing works.
Hello. I'm studying about Zoom Contact Center for a project, and we want to create call queues that inform the position of the agent (zoom contact center feature) and a IVR. My question is: Is it possible to a Zoom Phone IVR to forward a call to a Zoom Contact Center queue? So the queue informs the position of the user.
Tive que trocar o horário do meu webinar, mas ele não alterou o horário no calendário adicionado Como posso resolver isso?
Hi, When inviting contacts to a meeting via the Participants tab, Zoom remembers previousinvitees. This is not useful to me. Is there a way to clear this cache of previous invitees? I tried the clear cookies+cache in my Zoom settings, but this did not work. Thanks.
Hello all, Recently I have faced the issue "Signature Invalid" while joining the zoom using "Zoommtg" JS via API. Unfortunately I noticed my pro plan has been expired. Is that affect feature of Join meetings and shows the error like above? Looking forward to your quick response.
I am having trouble making sure my display name does not change. Yesterday was the second time I have used Zoom on my personal laptop for an interview and both times, somehow when I enter the meeting my display name comes up as something completely offensive. This is the second job that Zoom has affected negatively in the last couple of months. I have changed my password multiple times and am just not sure what else to do. It will be hard to secure any type of employment if this is not permanently resolved as all of my future interviews will most likely be virtual. This has been extremely upsetting. I do not even know where to look because on my end all I see is my name or the word "Zoom" as my name since I had to make sure it wasn't something offensive last time. I reached out to support when it happened then as well and they said to change my password and log all the way out and it would resolve itself. Well, now I know that was incorrect. If you have any tips or idea
We had a 3-day conference and recorded all the meetings. However, when I open the video or the audio the first minute is at normal speed but then suddenly the speed increases, and this 4-5 hour meeting only takes 1.5 hours. This happens on all the 3 separate recordings. The audio is horrible with all kinds of noise over the voice (there is no problem with the microphone, the first-minute audio is fine). Even when I use software to slow down the speed, the noise makes it almost inaudible. Is anyone familiar with this problem and is there a way to still fix it? Thanks a lot!
One of my users is the host of a zoom meeting today at 1 PM. Unfortunately, he's sick. We have a second user lined up to be the meeting host but the first user never designated anyone to have scheduling privileges or made anyone a co-host or alternate host. When I go into the admin panel for our account I appear to be able to designate other people to have scheduling privileges for me, but no ability to set this on any other user. I can't see anyone else's scheduled meetings, either. How do I go about adding a co-host, or changing the host, as the account owner without making someone who's out on a sick day log back on to change his own settings?
I'm using a recent version of Zoom (Zoom Workspace). In my meetings I use whiteboards with animated GIF images and embedded YouTube movies, which play fine during the meetings. I also record the meetings to the cloud and then the GIF animations and YouTube videos are frozen images (So I do play them in the meetings, but they don't play in the recordings!) I suppose this a bug in Zoom recording/whiteboards, or is something wrong with my settings? Thank you!-R.L.
At my organization, we use Google Calendar to schedule meetings. Google has a "speedy meetings" setting, to change 30-minute meetings to be only 25 minutes, and hour-long meetings to only 50 minutes (to give you breaks between meetings). Is there a way to do this in Zoom? When scheduling a meeting in Zoom.us, our only options are 15 mins, 30 mins, 45 mins or 1 hr. Thanks!
I am VERY frustrated. I have been using my Logitech C920 with my Macbook Air for a long time. No issues. For the past month or so, my image keeps flickering. The image does not go black. Rather, parts of the image move and then move back (if that makes sense). At first, I assumed it was the Mac OS upgrade to Sonoma. However, the issue ONLY happens in Zoom! I have the most current version of Zoom installed (6.0.2). I have spoken to Logitech and they have no solution, as the camera is fine with LogiTune. Is there a solution to this?! I managed to capture a screenshot of it glitching and then back to normal.
