My student have an Ipad. We are teaching tech skills and need to take control of his Ipad from a desktop computer located in another country. Also tried on android tablet. Same results. There in no option for this issue (march, 2025). WE NEED THIS!

Hi,Sigh. Last night we had a large webinar. And my helper who was co-host didn't realize that I as host was sharing my screen because she only saw me in speaker view. She had inadvertently mouses over a tab - that never used to be there. See screen shot. Both tabs are cirlced, one red, one yellow. I swear these tabs never used to be there. And I cannot figure out what purpose they serve.  If I as host set "follow host view" and I accidentally click on a tab, will the attendee view change? Why? Why? Why? Thanks for any insight on this!

I facilitated a training session today.  We had a producer running the presentation deck and I had my script up for myself.  Each time the next slide would appear, my script would disappear, as if Zoom was prioritizing my view for me.  How do I solve this problem?  I need the script to remain at the top of my window at all times.

I know I can hide participants in webinar mode for privacy but can I still allow for chat? I am conducting a virtual focus group and participants have the option to enter a real or fake name, use their camera or not. Will the settings work?

Hello, I am unable to join a zoom meeting. The app keeps crashing everytime I try to join a meeting. I am able to join a waiting room but everytime the meeting will launch, my zoom app crashes. I have tried uninstalling-re installing-uninstalling- several times but the same problem occurs. I have also tried Zoom cleaner but it didnt work. How do I solve this? Thank you!

When configuring the setting for"Designate groups or users to display as potential visitor hosts on the kiosks of this location"I notice that users listed in the textbox do not populate at a Kiosk when ad-hock visitors fill in their host. Do hosts always need a visitor management license for them to be selected as a host for a visitor?Reference Image

Hello, is the following issue a bug? Or is it a feature?When we tried the "Request permission to unmute participants" with a "Zoom Rooms" participant, the "Request to unmute" pop-up was displayed every time even if the Zoom Rooms participant agreed, and the host was unable to mute/unmute the participant.

HiThis problem is somewhat intermittent but is more often a problem than not. When using Zoom phone on the desktop app, I can neither hear nor be heard. The desktop app works fine for meetings and using the 'test microphone' and 'test speaker' options works successfully. I have deleted and reinstalled Zoom. (And rebooted multiple times).  Using Windows 11. The Zoom app on my cell phone works fine. Thanks for your helpMitch

Hi everyone, I’m experiencing issues joining Zoom Meetings using a Logitech Rally Bar that’s set up as a Microsoft Teams Room device with Zoom support enabled.While I can successfully join meetings scheduled with a Zoom Workplace Business, Webinar, or Large Meeting license, I consistently face issues when attempting to join meetings scheduled with a Zoom Events 1000 license.Here’s what happens:Both the Workplace Business and Zoom Events meetings appear on the Logitech TAP panel at the scheduled time.For the Workplace Business meeting, I get a Join button and can connect without issues.For the Zoom Events meeting, there’s no Join button available, making it impossible to join.I also tried joining via Meeting ID, but after signing in, I encountered a "Webpage Not Available" error.I’ve been working with Zoom Support on this for over a month without resolution, so I’m reaching out to see if anyone else has experienced a similar issue.If you’ve faced this or found a solution, I’d great

I am looking for the file hash for the client downloads to verify the file, but I don't see it along with the files. Does someone know where I can download them from. Get_FileHash ... to verify.

I just bought a new Mac and migrated all of the data to it from my old computer. Zoom will now not let me share my screen on the new computer. It says I have to turn on permissions in Privacy & Security in my Mac's System Prefs but it doesn't tell me what permissions nor where in Privacy & Security to set those prefs. What permissions do I need to set? 

Somehow the chat function is not visible for my participants in my 'meeting'. I enabled it in all my settings. It's still not visible. What can I do??  

I have a tech support background, and I can't find an answer. I have a bi-weekly zoom session with one other person, and he has been telling me that I have static on my audio when I talk.  Switching to original sound ON helped for a bit, but now doesn't seem to.  He never has this problem with anyone else, and he has several Zoom sessions a day.  In addition I've never had this problem with anyone else either.  I will be trying a different computer for login, but does any one have any suggestions?

How do I establish a meeting host in a Zoom Meeting (not a webinar)? Can only hosts (once established) admit attendees from the waiting room?Thanks.

Once a Zoom session is started there is a Zoom popup menu displaying something around Reactions. Is there a way to disable it? When I click on the popup, the popup disappears (nice) but it's displayed again 5 minutes latter (not nice)

How can i create a meeting where 20 people max register?

How can I have "Viewers can download" checked by default in all of my Zoom recordings in the Share Settings? I have to check them one by one after each recording is available right now. "Allow cloud recording sharing" is already enabled in the Settings page. I am on the Zoom Workspace Pro plan.

When I have completed the procedure to joing the confrence, I am told my name "is not connected: I am instructed to enter my Zoom account and find "display name" and then enter it. In all my account I couldn't find  "display my name."

Hallo everybody, we want to use zoom technology for an art project. Our ideas is that we share a meeting (or room) link - people should be able to log in any time to record a short video statement which should be recorded on our computer. Any idea how to realize this with zoom technology? We are more than happy about any support. Warm regards! 

Hi, I've seen a few similar posts, and have patiently waited for months to have a working solution on Wayland for screensharing, but so far it remains as broken as it was a year ago, so starting a new post to share all the relevant information. My only workaround until now was to rely on Zoom v6.0.2.4680 and downgrade Pipewire to v1.0.7, but it sadly stopped working (zoom would not even log any error message to stdout, so I'm not sure what's going on). The only option is to now embrace the newer versions, so I'm currently on v6.3.10.7150, which allows me to join calls but I can't share my screen at all. I've tried the suggested "Settings->Share screen->Advanced->Screen capture mode on Wayland set to Pipewire Mode" without success. Whether I set it to Auto, Original or Pipewire Mode, I get the same error pop-up saying the following:"Can not start screen share, choose one of the options: - Install latest 'xdg-desktop-portal' and 'xdg-desktop-portal-hyprland'-

I am encountering two persistent issues on Ubuntu 24.10:- Screen sharing: I am unable to share a specific window or screen region, despite trying various solutions mentioned in forums (e.g., enabling PipeWire mode). This issue persists across version 6.3.1 and earlier versions.- Calendar events: Since version 6.3, it has become impossible to save a calendar meeting or event.Ubuntu 24.10 | GNOME 47 | Wayland | Linux 6.11.0.13 | pipewire 1.2.4
