Hi, i can see that the Left side bar is a fixed feature and currently no way to turn it off. My question is this: Can this be made an optional feature, ie let the user decide if they want to use it or not. Have the ability to turn it off or revert to how it was before this feature was updated.
I have an LG Android phone with the Zoom app installed to be able to answer work calls. For awhile it worked, but now every time I try to log in, I get this message: "Login Failed. Failed to connect to Zoom." I have updated the app, removed some apps from my phone, restarted my phone...Nothing works.
I am an assistant to someone who currently has about 800 "unread" voicemails in his Zoom voicemail box. Our voicemails also go to our email inboxes, so that's how the person I assist reads/listens to his voicemails. I've logged into the web Zoom app and can see where I can select all voicemails a month at a time, but I can't find any option available to mark everything as "read." I can only find options to delete them all or to mark them all as "unread." Seems weird that I can easily delete everything, but not just mark everything as "read." Thank you for any help you can offer!
Hi, i have recorded a meeting and it is not in my Workpro account under recordings and transcripts and it did not save to my computer - is there another place i can look to find the recording (and yes i did actually hit the record button - i have checked with others on the call)thank you for the help and guidance in advance
I’m trying to screen record a zoom session with my friend to post on instagram reels and I need it to be in Portrait mode (vertical) while the camera stays in landscape (horizontal) so that the two horizontal frames will stack vertically. But I can’t figure out how to change the video orientation without the stacks changing orientation too. I tried locking the orientation but that locks everything. I want to hold my iPad vertical but have my camera rotate to landscape. Please help I’m so frustrated.
I have attended thousands Zoom meetings since 3/12/20. However, in the past few months Zoom consistently turned my camera off. If I turned the camera back on, Zoom will greyed out and frozen.Eventually I figured out that when my D drive has free space <3.75 TB, I will have Zoom problems. I have a 10 TB Dell XPS 8940 computer. OS C is 2 TB SSD with 1.32 TB Free, D is my 8 TB Data Drive with 3.62 TB Free. I consistently need to move data out of my computer to external HD to have free space over 3.75 TB. So I re-installed my Zoom 2 weeks ago. Then the real problems start. I cannot see presenter's slides or maps while other attendees can! I checked “View”, the Side-by-side with Speaker or Side-by-side with Gallery (sorry since I’m no longer able to see them, the names are from my memory) are no longer there. I checked my settings many times. Under “Share Screen” I have “Side-by-side mode” checked and “Focus mode” on.I turned the
I have seen multiple unresolved tickets on this manner dating back several months now, and am posting to see if Zoom Support or any community champions out there might have any updates on it. This issue affects myself and many random users throughout my company. Basically, in Team Chat settings, we have "Play sound when I receive a new message" checked, as well as other settings like Push Notifications being set to "All messages", and nothing else being muted. Yet users don't get a sound when they receive a new chat, whether Zoom is the active window or not. I've ensured in all cases that a working audio device (internal speakers or otherwise) was set as the default audio device, both in Zoom and in Windows sound settings. And I've checked Windows Sound Mixer to ensure the Zoom app itself wasn't turned down. Sometimes simply re-installing Zoom for an affected user does the trick, but mostly it does not. We all use Dell Latitude laptops, with some
I want to create Zoom meeting using API request and get the join_url. The meeting will have multiple breakout rooms and pre-assigned participants. The creation request was successful and meeting with pre-assigned breakout rooms was created and enabled:{ "uuid": "phdGwf0wRx2E84I0YdfuVQ==", "id": 83503657198, .... "join_url": "https://us06web.zoom.us/j/83503657198?pwd=rjmfFnPOVfWa.1", .... "settings": { "breakout_room": { "enable": true, "rooms": [ { "name": "Room 1", "participants": [ "***********" ] }, { "name": "Room 2", "participants": [ "***********" ] } ] }, }, .... }When I try to enter the meeting as email address, breakout rooms are still not opened, so the host needs to enter the meeting and open all pre-assigned rooms. I have 2 problems here:
It would be great if webinar chat was structured the same way as Meeting chat with the ability to react to a message and hyperlink text in the chat versus having to post the actual link.
Lately, we have been having a lot of users join our meetings with Otter.ai and record and transcribe the meeting. Some of those meetings are confidential and wanted to see if there is a security setting that needs to be adjusted or what can be done to stop these users from joining the meeting with otter.ai. We started enabling waiting rooms and allowing users in one at a time but when you have meetings with 100s of individuals, it's hard to police everyone. Is anyone else dealing with this?
I'm using a Windows 11 PC with a Logitec C920 camera. When I tell Zoom I want to use the camera's microphone, it opens the meeting without any problems. However, if I try to switch to another microphone, such as a lapel microphone, it resets and I can't reselect that microphone.
It seems like the latest zoom version for ubuntu (6.3.10) still suffers from a substantial memory leak. When I start a meeting, every time I start/stop my camera, the memory usage goes up by about 2-5MB.Every cycle of "start screen share -> stop screen share " increases memory demand between 50 and 200 MB.Just sitting in a meeting with 2 colleagues for 30 minutes had zoom go from ~1GB of memory in the beginning to a total of 5GB...Ending the meeting (zoo process still running) does not free any of this memory. The only "sensible" way to use zoom on a Linux system seems to be to use the browser, where at least the leak isn't that bad, but there are leaks as well (especially when screen sharing).I know that zoom can work with reasonable memory amounts on windows. Why is it so hard to make this also work on linux systems...Does anyone have good suggestions what could be done here?
The ZVA seems to often provide "imaginary" answers. Can someone please tell me where to find this " phone icon next to a recorded call"? I am trying to listen to a recorded call, but could not find where to play it. This is very frustrating. Thank you!
Hello,I am using the Webinar API to retrieve a list of all absentee and registered users. Fetching all webinars and registrants works fine and returns no errors. However, when I try to retrieve the list of absentees, I receive the following error:"response": string "{ "code": 3001, "message": "Meeting does not exist: [UUID]." }"Here are the API calls I made that returned the error (I’ve replaced the actual UUID with "[UUID]" for privacy in this message):https://api.zoom.us/v2/past_webinars/[UUID]/absenteeshttps://api.zoom.us/v2/report/webinars/[UUID]/participantshttps://api.zoom.us/v2/report/webinars/[UUID]When I check the list of all webinars, I can confirm that the webinar in question exists, so I am confused as to why I’m receiving this error.Could you please assist me in resolving this issue?Thank you in advance for your help!
I use Zoom daily and today it stopped working. Every time I try to log in, the application closes a few seconds later. I have already uninstalled it and installed the latest version of Workplace but it has not been resolved. Could you please help me?
To Whom It May Concern: My name is Andrew Wissler. How do I save an in-meeting chat on your Android app, and how do I find and change the default folder for where it is saved? Also, how can I view the chat side-by-side with the meeting on your Android app? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. Sincerely, Andrew Wissler
Is Zoom Revenue Accelerator trained on our products? I'm curious to know how it is advancing in AI. We use ZRA now and would love to learn more about product roadmap in terms of AI tied to product.
Hi, I have used zoom for 5 years, but I've encountered one serious issue recently.Right after buying new android laptop, I can't connect my ipad screen to my laptop at all.It just says "Your screensharing is paused."I've already followed all steps from ZVA, the AI messanger, but they all are unhelpful. Is there any way that I directly can talk to the service manager?I have to get it fixed for my work as soon as possible. Thank you.
When I signed up for a Zoom Phone plan with unlimited calls, I assumed there would be no concerns about minute usage. Additionally, when I subscribed to the $5 per month toll-free number linked to my Zoom Phone, there was no indication that the toll-free number had a minute usage limit.I only became aware of this when I received a separate email stating that 95% of the allotted minutes had been used. However, I was never informed of how many minutes were included or what this 95% usage was based on. Without prior notice, my credit card was automatically charged. Now, when I try to check my toll-free usage summary by asking the Zoom bot for help, it instructs me to "locate the toll-free licenses section to view the available toll-free minutes." However, I cannot find this section, nor does the bot provide clear directions on where to check my usage. Can someone please assist me? I feel like I’m being charged for something without any clear breakdown of what I’m paying for.
I have run virtual classrooms in a mountain community for several years, but only recently discovered that when I lose power and my internet connection, the meeting continues without me! My students are free to talk and chat without my presence. Not an ideal situation for the age levels I work with. How can I set up the meeting so the sessions stops automatically when I lose connection? Thanks.
Every time I join or start a meeting on Zoom my video has me upside down. I never changed anything. I've tried to rotate it, but there is nowhere I find to do that. Hovering over the screen does not show a rotate button. Ideas please!!
Hello guys, so i cannot open my audio setting tab. Everytime i open the audio setting tab, it just make my setting windows closed. And i cannot join zoom meeting anymore. Do u guys have any solution for that?
I have a bit of a weird situation. My companies receptionist is retiring. We will have three different people rotating and answering phones. Trying to think of the best way to handle it. Our main line goes to an Auto Receptionist that directs phone calls during business hours to the receptionist that is retiring. If our receptionist doesn't answer, it goes to three members of our support team in round robin. Now that the three support members will be sitting at the reception desk, we want the one currently at the desk to answer first, and then it overflow to the other two. My main question is what is a good way to allow whoever is at the front to be the main person without me changing the call routing every time it changes? My solution for now will be to have support log out of their account and into the receptionist account whenever they sit at the reception desk. Thanks in advance for any advice!
My office has a number of Zoom Room licenses that are associated with a number of M365 resource rooms. When creating a Zoom Meeting, users are using the Zoom for Outlook plug-in, signed in with an account that has delegated scheduling permissions within Zoom to each of the Zoom Room "users", and selecting the name of the room from the "Schedule for" dropdown in the settings of the plug-in to create the meeting, then adding the Resource Room to the attendees or location so that the meeting shows up on the calendar for that room. This is currently the only way we have found to consistently get the "Start" option on the meeting room's controllers rather than "Join", so the meeting utilizes the Zoom Room license for the meeting rather than the account used to schedule the meeting's license. This allows us to avoid concurrent meetings on the same license. Is there a better way to set this up so that meetings held "in the Zoom Room" always use the Zoom Room's license, regardless of
My Zoom meetings are integrated with my Outlook. In the past, when I schedule a Zoom meeting, it immediately adds to my Outlook calendar AND opens the meeting invitation -- so I can simply add the Outlook recipients and hit send. This week, when I create a Zoom meeting, it only creates the meeting. Then I need to go find the meeting in my Outlook calendar and open it, in order to add recipients/invitees and hit send. This feels much clunkier. Did I accidentally change a setting? I cannot find any such setting.
