Hi all, sorry if this isn't he correct board.... I have a Lenovo laptop where my camera used to work on Zoom meetings and now it does not. The light shows up, telling me that the camera is on, but only a black screen. I have done trouble shooting on the laptop, updated drivers, disabled and enabled and still black screen. The camera is the integrated camera that came with the laptop. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Hello again fellow webinerds,Zoom Webinars Plus offers a lot of options when it comes to customising the registration form for an event. Is there any way to build a standalone page with a form that then points to the Zoom API? Any example at all? I have been told by sales that it was possible but I cannot find much on the help pages. Thanks in advance for your helpXP
Hello Zoom webinerdsAnalytics on this license is quite powerful but unfortunately it cannot be shared with 3rd parties easily. They have to wait for me to download a report and then share it. Other platforms let producers share a link which can be accessible without a licensed access. In my case, sales need to see who is registered already before sending invitations to their clients. Has aynone else come up against this issue? Any workaround? Any Zoom plans to make their analytics more accessible? Thank you for reading!
I want to download the transcript from a one hour meeting. I had the AI recorder listen to. It says it cannot download it until because it’s processing. How long does this take?
Help! I can't figure out how to turn off Center Stage on iPad Air. I've looked in settings, Zoom setting, while in a meeting.. Help!
Sharing encase someone has an interest in using the Cisco ATA’s with Zoom phone. I’ve had issues with pushing certain parameters from my Zoom template to the Cisco ATA MPP 191/192. Working with both CiscoTAC and Zoom, Zoom engineering confirmed they do not currently support sub parameters. However, primary parameters are not an issue. Sub parameters would be in this format below which encompasses everything in between the header parameter <web management> & closing </web management> and if your familiar with configuring parameters for the Cisco ATA 191/192 MPP, you’ll quickly figure out, Zoom doesn’t follow the standard XML structure as documented by Cisco. This is probably why the Cisco ATA does not render what is being sent because the format is foreign. I am waiting on Zoom engineering to provide on a fix/update which looks to be Q4 of this year. You can still unbox and configure the ATA manually, but if you have a mass amount to deploy, good luck. <Web_Management
In the company overview account settings, I am able to set the default voicemail greeting for most things, however it seems I can't do it for holiday hours. I've got standard holidays programmed in for the whole company which apply to all extensions. As far as I can tell it only lets me change the voicemail greeting per holiday, per auto receptionist/call queue/user, which is just way too much manual work for the number of destinations we have. Am I missing something, or is there truly no way to do this?
Temos clientes fora do Brasil no idioma Inglês e Espanhol. Subject: URGENT: Institutional Escalation Required for Zoom App Bug Disrupted Online Classes Dear ZOOM Head of IT,I am writing to request an urgent, official enterprise-level escalation regarding a critical technical bug introduced in the recent Zoom Workplace update (v7.1.5). This bug is currently disrupting our ability to deliver online lessons and is directly impacting student learning. The Issue:During live lectures, when teachers share their desktop screens (Mac or Windows) and use an iPad with an Apple Pencil to write out solutions, formulas, or diagrams via the Zoom Annotation/Whiteboard feature, the digital ink lines vanish mid-sentence. The stroke breaks halfway through, forcing us to constantly rewrite the same information.Impact on Students:Our students are facing significant difficulties copying down lesson notes, calculations, and whiteboard workings during live classes. This is creating severe friction in our daily teaching workflows and reducing instructional efficiency.
Starting a new meeting as a host, sent invitations for participants as usual, but when they try to join, few of them weren't able to connect video (automatically connected in "audio-only" mode). They can't see the host and host can't see them!! Why? Why only few people and why all of a sudden meeting invitation chose to connect them with audio only mode!?!
I work in the social-media tools niche, particularly around TikTok, and I’m interested in how creators use Zoom beyond regular meetings.Has anyone used Zoom to record interviews, tutorials, Q&A sessions, or collaborations and then turn those recordings into short-form content?I’d be interested in hearing which Zoom features make this workflow easier, especially recording, screen sharing, audio quality, and managing longer sessions.
We have a secretary who is a delegate for a managing partner. When she creates a Zoom meeting for him, and then goes back into the appt. to update it - adding add'l participants, changing the date, etc., the updated information/participant disappears shortly thereafter! The added participants are never invited, and the updated information is never updated. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes for this? We have an open ticket with Zoom tier 2. Thanks!
Hello, We have a somewhat unique ZCX customer use case. During normal business hours a restaurant chain might call this customer and request some new food orders (bulk food supplies). However, some businesses are focused on late-night or after-hours such as bars or or other food and entertainment venues and need to perform fast paced tasks with this vendor out of band. One of these customers might call into the Zoom contact center and place an entire bulk order over voicemail, sometimes dozens of items or part numbers etc. These voicemails, while probably 2% of cases, exceed the 5 minute limit imposed by Zoom contact center for inboxes. Can we get this limit bumped up to 10 minutes for individual voicemails?
A new national regulation applying to some of our meetings with external participants prohibits access via mobile phone. We have already found a solution that involves muting the phone's audio. Could you please suggest a solution other than leaving people in the waiting room? We need a solution that automates the process when the meeting is created—one that detects phone-based access and blocks the user. Thank you, and have a nice day.Clara
I'm trying to connect Zoom to my CRM and need help locating two specific details:Zoom Account IDClient IDI’ve looked everywhere but can’t seem to find them. Could you guide me on where to find these? Thanks in advance
MDV Meeting
Hi, at the end of the meeting. ZOOM didn't convert the meeting. I go to manually converted from Meeting - Recording. I open the folder and then I double click the file named: "double_click_to_convert_01" and I get the message: " Failed to convert recording. There is another recording conversion in progress, please convert this recording later from Meetings>Recording". Any help?
I'd like the ability to rename meeting summary titles...like on the recordings. Why can't I do that?
I am using basic Zoom for GSuite. My Zoom meetings should be 40 minutes (and it says so in the upper left-hand corner of the Zoom window. Zoom cuts off at exactly 30 minutes. I've complained of this to Zoom's technical support before, but they never addressed the problem (they kept telling me to get a different account). I've wondered whether students joining the meeting before the host is counted at part of the 40 minutes. I have turned off "Allow participants to join the meeting before the host arrives" but I'm still getting messages students that students have joined the meeting room. Any ideas about what I can do?
Hello,I joined several Zoom meetings a few months ago using the Zoom mobile app on Android. I was a participant, not the host.I now need proof that I attended those meetings for my university. However, I cannot find any meeting history or attendance records in my Zoom account. Is there any way for a participant to view or download their past meeting attendance history? If not, is attendance information only available to the meeting host?Thank you.
My meetings are ending at 40 minutes. I didn’t see a popup option to continue. I have had two meetings end this way, and I have been with zoom for at least 5 years. I pay a $16.99 monthly subscription, up until the last month, I never had this problem. When scheduling my meetings, it only allows me 40 minutes. There is an option to update. Please explain what’s happened.
Hi everyone,I’m trying to create a Server-to-Server OAuth app in the Zoom Marketplace (Develop → Build App). The “Server-to-Server OAuth App” option appears but is greyed out / not selectable, so I can’t click it.What I’ve tried:My admin/boss granted me the required permission/role (including User:Edit / Users:Edit). Signed out and back in, and tried again.Still happening:Server-to-Server OAuth remains greyed out.Questions:Besides User:Edit, what other account-level settings or permissions are required to enable Server-to-Server OAuth app creation? If our org uses a linked/master-sub account setup, how do we confirm the permission is being applied in the correct account (master vs sub)? Are there any plan or feature requirements that could cause this option to be disabled?Environment:Browser: [Chrome / version] OS: [macOS / Windows] Zoom account type: [single account OR master/sub linked accounts—unsure]If anyone has run into this and knows the fix, I’d appreciate it.If you tell me whe
This issue has me banging my head against a wall. I have cox internet in AZ with the service 1 gig up/down (with speedtests showing 920’ish both ways). I have unifi equipment and all affected devices are hard wired. The issue occurs on my wife’s and I laptop. When we join a zoom meeting everything is fine. But once we share screen, we get internet connection is unstable and from the other users in the meeting they report our voices are robotic or don’t transmit at all. they also report the stream lags extremely bad or freezes. This issue does not happen when using teams or any other meeting software. All other devices/services work perfectly fine in my environment. To troubleshoot I have plugged my laptop directly into the modem, bypassing my router, and the issue still occurs. I had a cox technician here this morning and he basically shrugged his shoulders. I know something is being blocked upstream and I need to be able to go to cox with this evidence. Has anyone here experienced th
