A question from a new user. I have set up weekly team meetings. Is it possible for meeting participants to help create a new agenda ahead of each meeting within Zoom, or do we have to do this externally?Many thanks.

It looks like Zoom has determined that the entire world is incorrect with the definition of "Minimize" and has taken it upon themselves to rewrite the definition, for their own purposes. When you click minimize and you expect it to, um, I don't know....MINIMIZE, it instead gives you a little useless window that has top focus above your other apps.  Well, here is my personal opinion:  #FAIL It's really just a bad idea. How do I disable this annoying "feature"? Please, for the love of God, just    MAKE.    IT.    GO.    AWAY.  

Hello,I am a Zoom Pro subscriber and I have lost ALL the content of my Notes completely.Here is my situation:I can still see the titles of my notes, but all the content/transcriptions inside have completely disappeared I had many notes linked to past meetings that I had not yet processed The Trash is empty — nothing to restore I have only one single Zoom account I did not delete anything manuallyThis is a serious data loss for me professionally. These notes contained important information from client meetings that I cannot recover any other way.I have already tried:Checking the Trash tab → empty Checking account settings for Notes feature → enabled Logging out and back inI need urgent escalation to a technical team for server-side investigation and potential data recovery.Can a Zoom employee or moderator please help escalate this case?Thank you.

I would like to submit a new feature request - I need ability to add tables in chat. also if tables are copied pasted from MS excel, it should render properly 

I’ve noticed on my last couple videos that the sound recording doesn’t match the timing of the video. In fact there are visual pauses of me talking but the recording is still speaking.  It looks off and of poor quality.  This has happened using my desktop and my laptop so I can’t blame it on the computer.  Advice and shared experiences to help fix this would be appreciated. 

Hello, I am writing to request full native Wayland support and optimization for the Zoom Linux client. Currently, many users (including myself) experience issues with screen sharing, window management, and overall performance when using Wayland compositors (GNOME/Mutter, KDE/Kwin).Relying on XWayland is no longer a viable long-term solution as the Linux ecosystem is rapidly moving to Wayland by default. We need: Native PipeWire/Portal integration for screen sharing. Better resource management (CPU/RAM optimization) under Wayland. Fixes for screen flickering and window focus issues. This is critical for users on modern distributions like Ubuntu 24.04/26.04 and Fedora.

I am the owner and admin and the waiting rooms are on. I still can't toggle the meeting password off. And I feel like if have googled every answer and nothing works

I now have a white clouded border framing my display on Zoom meetings.  Can I turn it off?  If so, how?

Hi, When someone share pptx to me by zoom, why the ppt file saved no extention type? I need to manually choose ppt app to open it.. Thanks.

The new emojis are much less clear and expressive than the previous ones.We as long-time Zoom users preferred the original emoji style because it was easier to recognize during meetings.Please consider adding a setting that allows users to switch between the classic and the new emoji set.

My apologies in advance — we’re in the middle of switching over to Zoom Rooms company‑wide, and I’m still climbing the learning curve.I set up the first office yesterday and the core setup works, but I’m running into one issue: the controller/room doesn’t seem to be allowed into Google Meet calls.  The host has to allow the room in, which we don’t want..I’ve read up on interoperability and everything appears to be enabled. I even generated the token in Google… I just have no idea where that token is supposed to go. Has anyone seen this before or have ideas?

Hello everyone,I’m having an issue with Zoom AI Companion.I already have a Zoom Workplace Pro account, and according to the plan details, AI Companion should be included. However, whenever I try to use the feature, Zoom keeps showing a message telling me to upgrade or update my plan in order to access AI Companion.The confusing part is that I already have the required Pro subscription active.Has anyone experienced the same issue or knows what could be causing this?Do I need to enable AI Companion somewhere separately, or are there any additional requirements?Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone,I'm running into an issue with Zoom meeting transcripts and was wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.During my meetings, I use breakout rooms, and participants spend a good amount of time discussing topics there. After the meeting ends, I receive the meeting transcript, but it only includes the conversation from the main room. None of the discussions that happened inside the breakout rooms appear in the transcript.I was expecting the breakout room conversations to be included as well, especially since those discussions are an important part of the meeting.Has anyone found a way to capture or generate transcripts for breakout rooms? Is there a setting I might be missing, or is this simply not supported by Zoom at the moment?I'd really appreciate any clarification or suggestions from anyone who has dealt with this.Thanks in advance!

Here on Debian 13 I have Zoom Workplace version 7.1.0(3715). My desktop comes from LXQt.When I launch the client, a small input window appears, with the instruction, “Type or paste link”. I recognize this as a user-input element normally found on the screen that comes up when I select “Join a meeting” on the main startup screen. But this little input window comes up prematurely. It doesn’t move when I try to reposition the initial screen, and it just stays in front of all the other windows as long as Zoom is running. I don’t expect to see this at all, so this feels like a bug. I tried completely removing my directory ~/.zoom and then reinstalling the client, but the problem persists. Suggestions welcome … thanks!

We're calling GET /phone/sms/sessions with session_type=all (documented as a valid value), but some accounts return a 400 Bad Request:Error Code: 400Message: SMS session type is invalid.Questions:Under what account configurations or plan types would session_type=all be considered invalid? Is this returned when the account doesn't have SMS/MMS features licensed or activated? Is there a distinguishing error code so we can handle it gracefully in our integration?

Similar to this topic, I would like to have dark mode on Linux. As a Linux user, I feel that the topic didn’t fully address the kind of assistance both the original poster, users, and I were hoping for. The current setup still leans heavily on light mode, which can be pretty harsh on the eyes, especially during long sessions or late-night workflows. While there are three options to tweak the top bar and meeting background, they don’t touch the Zoom background itself, which stays glaringly white. That sudden brightness spike is jarring, basically being flashbanged at 3 in the morning. So, a proper dark mode that darkens everything, not just fragments, would be a huge improvement. Including this in the theme selection or rolling it out in an upcoming Linux update would go a long way in reducing eye strain and making the experience more cohesive. Hi,I’m experiencing an intermittent issue with Zoom screen sharing on my MacBook Air M2 (Tahoe)During a meeting, when I click Share Screen, I can initially see all the individual application windows (such as Chrome, Foxit PDF, Finder, etc.) and I’m able to share a specific window without any problem.However, after a few minutes in the same meeting, when I try to share my screen again, those individual application windows suddenly disappear from the Share Screen selection. The only available options are Entire Screen and a few other items (for example, Sticky Notes), while applications like Chrome, Foxit PDF, and Finder are no longer listed.This issue only happens sometimes and is not consistent. Since the window-sharing option works at the beginning of the meeting, I don’t think it’s a Screen Recording permission issue.My setup:MacBook Air M2 Latest version of Zoom (I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom) Using the Zoom desktop app (not the browser version) macOS TahoeThings I

I am running mx linux 23 with zoom 7.1. No problem until I updated to this version. Then I get a line in the middle of the screen every time I open Workspace and I am unable to make it disappear. This is a screenshot trying to access the test meeting. The “Type or paste link “ box DOES NOT disappear. 

Sometimes, I use a VPN when I use Zoom. This VPN chooses a server in another country. However, I don't use the VPN at all times.This means that sometimes I use my login credentials while being in my country and other times in another country.  Could this make Zoom think I am breaking the license terms of point "1.2 Prohibition on Sharing"? Because I think it may feel like I have connected from different places, with two different IPs. I know people can travel, and you are in the same situation, but sometimes I forget to activate the VPN, and I connect to Zoom just 5 minutes after I realise I didn't activate the VPN. When I activate it, I am suddenly in another country in 5 minutes. I guess Zoom can differentiate one situation from another, but I want to avoid surprises.
