Updating a single meeting out of a series

When rescheduling a single meeting within a recurring series, I encounter one of two issues:

  1. Clicking the "Update" Zoom button prompts me to reschedule the entire series, rather than just the individual occurrence.
  2. Rescheduling only the one occurrence in Outlook — without clicking the "Update" Zoom button — causes the meeting to ring in Zoom Workplace at the original date and time.

Is there a way to reschedule a single occurrence without affecting the rest of the series or triggering the old meeting in Zoom?

hi @Kim Sadnick

Welceom to the forum.

OK, we can fix this, but not as expected.

A reoccuring meeting must keep to one date and time sequence, so if you try and edit a meeting, then it will edit all of them as they are connected.

However, Zoom does not enforce meetings to be exactly on the date and time shown and therefore you can tell your colloeagues of a different dat aand time for a meeting, and you can open the meeting with the link of the one you moved and even if it is a different date and time, you will be able to open and attend it.

Not exactly as you asked, but it does work.

Please like and mark as the solution if this helps

All the best
