 The interface on the right is not an improvement over that on the left. Seriously, why? I’m now clicking 25% more to get to my same configuration for my meetings. I’m not opposed to putting the controls in the sidebar, but drilling down multiple levels is a serious regression in usability.

This may just me be ranting, but am I the only one who hates it when companies push a UI change with seemingly zero input? The Zoom Workplace app moved the navigation tabs from the top to the left and I can’t for the life of me figure out why they would do that and NOT give the option to move them back. Left-hand tabs are counter-intuitive as almost every application has either located them on the top (most common) or the bottom, but let the user customize if they wanted them on the side. I am a heavy advocate for the tabs on top approach and fully accept that some people disagree, but why not let the users decide and customize their own layout? The app looks kind of stupid now, especially because you can toggle the calendar side panel which opens on the right, so now you have less horizontal space in the app itself. Please tell me if I’m overreacting or if you agree.

I logged into Zoom today to Live Stream a Funeral and was shocked to ss a completely new home page to the point whereby I could not work out how to mute all participants and use full screen view. This made things quite difficult for the firt 5 minutes before I managed to navigate my way around the new changes. Why does this happen so often, it is quite unsettling, just like running a new program without being familiar with its features!

I encounter this problem several timeswhen I press unmute on lock screen it automatically open my video as well. This only happen when on lock screen quick access.

Hi everyone, I’ve recently noticed that during some Zoom meetings the audio randomly cuts out for a few seconds and then comes back. My internet connection seems stable and this doesn’t happen in other apps. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix? 

 Hello,I am experiencing a problem when trying to schedule a meeting in Zoom.When I open the scheduling window, multiple pop-ups overlap each other, making it impossible to use the interface properly.For example: I cannot select a future date (e.g., April 8 – I cannot access April at all) I cannot set the time I cannot select options like “no time limit” Different pop-ups keep appearing on top of each other This happens regardless of whether my screen is maximized or not.Because of this issue, I am unable to schedule any meetings.Could you please help me resolve this?Thank you. 

With the latest update, version 6.2.0, recurring meetings with "No Fixed Time" have been removed from the desktop client home screen and calendar. There is no way to put them back on there without changing them to a fixed schedule and end date. Tell Zoom that this change MUST BE REVERSED. I and thousands of other users routinely use Zoom to hold meetings with no fixed schedule and no end date. We don't use the Zoom calendar for anything -- we have our own calendar and invitation systems. All recurring meetings should be available somewhere on the client home screen. This issue started week of April 29, 2024. A few participants in a meeting cannot go to breakout rooms. They go, but then are quickly sent back to the main room without having clicked on anything. This has happened to different people, on different accounts. We have tried assigning them to a different room, we have had them log out and log back in. Zoom has been VERY UNHELPFUL saying only that it is because participants have a poor internet connection. These participants have been in the meeting without other issues for a total of 29 hours (over 10 days). It is causing a lot of problems for our training participants. Anyone have any answers? Hello! I just have one question, how do I add zoom team chat? Do I have to pay for it? Is it only for certain devices? I have it on my phone but I normally use my computer for work. And it would be helpful to be able to chat with my coworkers. Thank You!

My clock has disappeared in the side panel and I cant figure out how to get it back. It was located at the top of the panel and was large and easy to see.

Hi everyone,I use a licensed Zoom account through my university for academic advising sessions. Most of my meetings are open “drop-in” hours where I leave Zoom open and students come and go throughout the day.The current attendee reports don’t really fit that setup. I have to manually piece together who was in the waiting room, who actually joined, when they left, and whether they came back later. It’s especially tricky to track students who waited but never joined or who had multiple short visits.I’ve also tried using the AI Companion summaries, but they don’t include the kind of detailed timestamps or waiting room information that would make these reports useful for advising.It would be great if Zoom could provide a clearer timeline or summary showing:Each attendee’s waiting room time, meeting time, and any re-joins A list of anyone who entered the waiting room but left before joining Timestamped chat messages (since I shar

Lately, folks' statuses are automatically changing to Out of Office.  I have checked the settings, and it shows Away after X amount of minutes, but I don't see where it changes to Out of Office. Does anyone else see this? Kristi

Hello,I’m working on commissioning some built up Windows machine (Crestron Flex) based Zoom Rooms video conferencing systems for a rather large university in the Boston area. Regarding sharing content ingest audio to a meeting - I’ve always handled content ingest audio via the content ingest path into the Zoom machine via a Zoom certified Magewell HDMI to USB capture card. Additionally, this is how it has been handled on every Windows machine (Crestron Flex) based Zoom Rooms application that I have ever seen.Without getting into the weeds too bad, this has caused a situation where content audio is doubled when content is shared. The client here had, in another room, resolved this by taking the content ingest audio out from the Magewell path and passed it to Zoom Rooms via the path that brings the local in-room microphones into the Zoom PC and then into the meeting - thru the DSP, mixed into the mic mix and then passed out from the DSP over USB and into Zoom. I am placing the pinned presenter view and a video on an Epson overhead projector screen, and keeping the laptop for admin functions such as invite and chat separate. We are using a Lavalier microphone setup that connects to an interface. The video and presenter are heard in the room on speakers with simultaneously broadcast on Zoom. What do you think of this configuration. Has anyone done this successfully?

How can I convert a Recurring Scheduled meeting into a No Fixed Time Recurring meeting and retain the same meeting ID?  The No Fixed Time Recurring meeting has been used to feed into a live webcast for several years.  I am not clear exactly how it happened, but I suspect the meeting type has been accidentally changed to Scheduled when the meeting URL and ID were included in a Google Calendar entry notifying about a short test meeting.  I did not know that this was possible.  Changing the meeting ID would mean alterations in several platforms and notifying various clients, so we want to avoid this if possible.  We have set the recurrences to six months apart to secure the meeting ID, but this adds spurious entries to our calendar so is not an elegant solution.

I have a new iPadAir6, iPadOS version 18.3.2. When music is played during a Zoom meeting its starts out loud and clear for 3-4  seconds, then the volume goes way down and the quality is poor. The sound fluctuates for the duration of the music. Voice seems just fine. I have several iPads and iPhones, this does not happen on any of the other devices, only on the iPadAir6. I have learned that others who have the same version, iPadAir6 have the same problem. It seems there is a problem running the Zoom client on iPadAir6. Is Zoom support aware of this issue? Has anyone at Zoom looked into it?

We are experiencing problems with our phone.  A recording interrupts our incoming calls with we are experiencing phone issues 

Am I just missing it, or is USA (+1) not selectable when entering a phone number?  I have had to use Puerto Rico to get the +1 in front of my number.  I might have missed it since there seems to be no order to the countries.

Hello I am using the latest version of zoom (5.16.10) I don't have the option for rich text formatting in chat. I am on Windows 11 Client on Laptop

A spammy online marketer keeps sending me Zoom email invites, and it's clogging up my inbox. I never subscribed to their thing and there isn't a way to unsubscribe/remove from list through the zoom invites that I can find. I don't want to block the emails because it will block all Zoom meeting invites and I do need access for work purposes. Nor do I want to just create a new folder because real meetings will get lost in the spammy jungle. Does zoom have no way to ask to be removed from someone's meetings?
