Hello, Please help me I am using zoom events and I want to do a seminar. I changed my setting to “ you don’t register your email address and your name” But when I try to join to the test seminar I need to put my email address and my name. I disabled the settings but it do not work. Is there a way to that you do have to put your email address and the name when you’re joining to the zoom event? As I said I already disabled my setting to no email no name. Can somebody please help me out I can’t do the zoom events🥹

Hi  I just set up a zoom phone and am new to this. Can not receive a phone call. It says the service is restricted or service is not available. But I can make a phone call through the app. What should I do? Thanks 

Hello, I've been working as a legal videographer recording depositions remotely over zoom. For purposes of the deposition video, I have the witness pinned for the duration of the meeting. According to other people that I work with, on their systems (generally Windows) when one of the lawyers initiates a screen share, they adjust slider to make the witness take up about 1/3rd of the screen. Their recorded videos generally reflect what was on screen during the meeting. I am using a MacBook Pro and a Mac mini - both systems when the screen sharing starts I drag the slider to about midway through the screen. When I view the recorded file, the witness starts out as a VERY small thumbnail and no matter how far I drag the slider their video in the recording takes up about 1/5th of the screen. I would really like to figure out a way to make the final video look like my screen during the meeting without having to use 3rd party software to record the window. Any help greatly

Has anyone able to solve and be able to log in after experiencing this error. I just sent a report. I am able to log in on Windows PC and Mac. Hopefully I be able to use zoom on my apple phone again. Please let me know if you have other means to solve this. Thank you. 

Recently in the share screen settings, the "share powerpoint as virtual background" option is greyed out and has a yellow triangle on the corner of it. I have checked if the virtual background is enabled, (it is). have updated the app on my mac, and have tried to restart, uninstall and reinstall. but to no avail!. Can anyone offer a suggestion???

How can I see what Zoom versions I have had installed, that is, my version history?  Why?  Because I was involuntarily recently "upgraded" to 5.6.6.880 which when running caused my Windows 10 computer not to work well--a bad version for me.  I want to go back to a version when Zoom was working adequately, if that is even going to be possible--anyone?  If it is not possible to go back to a working version, then this question is moot.  Rather I will simply have to keep installing newer versions until one hopefully works well (well enough).  Please advise.

Hi there,I notice that the quality of my video records is always bad (not sharp), while when I am in a zoommeeting that is recording, the video is very sharp and totally okay. How can I fix that?  Best regards, from the Netherlands 🙂  Tessa

For a long time now, we've used a string of parameters for the MSI installer to do a couple of things like auto-update, disable consumer rubbish etc Due to Auto-Update being required, we also had to switch on "Silently start Zoom on Startup".  This was working great for ages, it would open in the system tray and not bug users.  It seems since we go this AI addition to Zoom, the "silent" part no longer works and is opening the Zoom window on startup for all users. FIX THIS!!!!

If you just connect the earphones, it will only make a sound on the app. I just can't hear anything else on YouTube or screaming.I refuse to test the speaker

Cannot get Zoom audio from laptop to TV through wired HDMI connection. Zoom audio is audible in laptop speakers only. Other laptop audio (YouTube, etc.,) works fine through the TV.

Please can someone help me? I am trying to add virtual backgrounds to zoom yet it is saying that the admin has not allowed this... I am the admin and the owner of my zoom account. I need to be able to use specific backgrounds for my call tomorrow but I cannot add any new ones.  I can't find an email for Zoom or someone to talk to to help me.

I am looking to merge/dock the Q&A window and the chat window at the same time. Despite our best intentions to have attandees post their questions in the Q&A window, they often post them in the chat instead. I'd like to dock both on the side so I can view both without anything covering up the shared screen or the presenter's video.

Hey everyone,Sometimes I got a black screen on my laptop during share screen but it only started two weeks ago, I also downloaded the new zoom version 5.9.3 back then and today I downloaded the newer version 5.9.6 3799.While the screen is black I can close the share screen option after pressing the Windows button and then clicking fast on stop sharing but I still got some weird jittering images on the screen and then only restart of the computer helps.I am using a new computer of ASUS - Windows 10 with Intel iris Xe Graphic card and Intel i7 CPU./Thanks for your help🙏

Hi!I host a weekly travel related events through Meetup.com where all the attendees connect via Zoom.  It's worked very smoothly for years.  But last night something very strange happened.  As attendees tried to connect either via the link on the Meetup event page or with the link I sent out a few hours earlier, they were told that the "Event had passed".  Some were able to connect using different divices, but it was very strange.  I double checked the times and time zones on both Zoom and Meet-up and everything was correct.  Was there some kind of glitch?  

We have a business account, it covers 10 accounts for our institution. It has recently expired and we are still in the process of renewing with the authorized vendor since we have to go through the procurement process since our institution is a state university in the Philippines. My question is, if we unbind one of the account from the admin account, and upgrade it to single user Pro temporarily, will we have access to the cloud recordings? as we badly need to have access to some of the recordings.

I want minimum security & always use my Personal Meeting Room.  How do I avoid having participants being sent to a Waiting Room?

Hi y'all,I have a Zoom Workplace account (paid) + a Zoom Events account (paid).  I signed up specifically to use the Simulive but in the Hub I am told I need a "Advanced Video CMS license" in order to upload a video.  I've been trying for 2 weeks to purchase or even get pricing but Zoom sales has been absolutely awful (bounced from person to person, can't even get simple pricing yet.  Does anyone know how I could get this working quickly, my webinar is tomorrow 😞 Greg

Hi! My computer freezes whenever I share my screen on Zoom, making my tutoring sessions difficult. I bought a new Surface laptop, 5G T Mobile internet with really high speeds, and I redownloaded Zoom but still have this problem. I will do anything to fix this but can't figure out what to do. Any ideas as to what the problem is and how to fix it? It has to be Zoom at this point. I could run five sessions with my new internet, and my computer can handle a lot!

I know how to create the breakout rooms, but when I have more than one breakout room session in one meeting it always throws the same people back together in the second breakout room session. Is there a way to have it anonymously assign the people in the room independent of each session?
