I was sent a meeting invitation and have been trying to open it to confirm the meeting, but the following is happening: Next page that loads says: "Sorry, you do not have the latest version of Zoom Workspace App installed. The latest version of our application will download automatically. Kindly install it to accept the meeting invite. If the download doesn't start automatically, please download manually.Manual DownloadJoin from your browser"The version update download starts and when I click on join from your browser nothing happens. I open the download it runs and disappears.I checked my zoom app and it says that it is at its most up to date version. I have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom. Restarted the computer and cleared cache. I do not have a paid account. Still when I click the link it redirects me to to page saying that I don't have the latest version. When it tries to fo the install to update it stops and says there is a more recent version already installed. &nb
Hi - I'm sharing a PowerPoint presentation. It's fine when I start sharing the screen. However, when I click to 'slide show' (i.e. just looking at the slide) the sharing stops with the message ''screen sharing has stopped as the shared window is closed'. Any thoughts please?ThanksAlison
I recently removed fathom from zoom and now all of my virtual backgrounds are gone and I no longer have the advanced functionality to share screen and video - I would appreciate any assistance or guidance. And I can no longer logon unless I logon from the browser for workspace
Hi All, I recently joined Zoom so that I could make calls from South Africa to Canada, but it seems that the service is not available on this plan that I selected. I recently purchased an Unlimited Plan to Canada but have not been able to make any calls. Each time I have tried, I receive the following message: "Sorry...the requested service is not available in your calling plan". I added the international calling as an add-on to the above plan, but I still cannot make calls. Also, I am unable to receive calls, too! So now I'm confused ( have I not set it up properly? Am I not dialling numbers correctly?) and worried that perhaps I have purchased an incorrect plan. Can someone please assist me or give me pointers. Thanks
Hello Zoom community! 👋I’ve recently been exploring Zoom Docs and I’m really impressed with the direction it's taking — blending real-time collaboration with structured, document-based workflows. The clean interface, integration with Zoom Meetings, and the ability to collaborate live makes it a promising tool for both teams and educators. One idea I wanted to bring into the discussion is how user customization and control can take tools like Zoom Docs to the next level. For comparison, I’ve been using a third-party launcher called Bloxstrap for Roblox. It’s not part of the official Roblox client, but what makes it powerful is the level of control it offers users — from performance settings to UI behavior. This got me thinking:🔹 Could Zoom Docs eventually offer more modular controls or custom themes to suit different team needs?🔹 Would integration with third-party plugins or automation tools enhance the experience?🔹 How important is user-level customization
I've been attempting to set up event subscriptions, but I keep encountering an error when trying to validate the endpoint URL. The message I receive is: "URL validation failed. Try again later." This issue has arisen while developing a new application.

Hey! I’m writing here because I have a question about logging into Zoom meetings. When I tried to join a Zoom meeting using a non-logged-in account, I got Zoom error code 13215 and couldn’t join the meeting. However, when I tried again with a logged-in account, I was able to join without any issues.I had set the meeting to allow non-logged-in participants before starting the room, but for some reason, the non-logged-in account still couldn’t join.Does anyone know why this might have happened or what possible reasons could cause this? I’d really appreciate your help!
I am working with a client and they can move the mouse around but cannot click on anything. I've looked around the forum and found nothing to solve my problem. Help!
As a long-time devotee of note-taking, I'm loving the AI Meeting Summaries feature, but the AI could be doing a much better job at writing. If it were a truly chat-based AI, I'd be able to simply tell it what to change, and hopefully it would learn from my preferences for future session – but I'm not seeing that capability. (Can Zoom confirm this?) Are there any hidden settings to tweak the AI's note-taking skills? A few pet peeves:Names are shown as last-name followed by a non-grammatical comma. Better guideline would be first+last name on first mention, first name only on subsequent mentions IF only one user has that first name – and lose the superfluous comma. Most calls include some pre-agenda social chatter that really doesn't need to be summarized for the record. Is the AI smart enough to understand what constitutes social chatter and stop summarizing it?Action Items are usually pretty good. The AI could learn from Strunk & White on crafting concise sentences. While generally g
Hi, I’ve purchased a Zoom Phone license with the U.S./Canada Unlimited Calling Plan (1 license – active), but I can’t assign a phone number to my user. When I go to Phone System Management → Users & Rooms, I get this message: “You need more licenses.” I’m the account owner and the only user. No numbers are showing up for assignment.I also can’t manually purchase or add one from Plans and Billing. This is blocking me from making any calls, and I’m actively paying for the service. I’ve submitted a support ticket but haven’t received a response yet.Ticket number: TS1873868 Can someone from Zoom please resolve or escalate this? Thanks.Adam
Hello Zoom Team,I would like to suggest a new feature to enhance meeting inclusivity and communication. Many users have names that are frequently mispronounced, which can create awkward or uncomfortable moments and hinder effective communication. To address this, when a user creates a Zoom account or manages their profile, they could type a phonetic breakdown of their name or upload a recording of how it is pronounced. Then, during meetings, participants could simply hover over a person’s name in the participant list or chat to see the phonetic spelling or hear the audio pronunciation. This feature would make it easy for everyone to learn and say names correctly without interrupting the meeting flow and would foster respectful communication, especially for users with unique or non-English names. Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe it would be a valuable addition to the Zoom AI Companion or Zoom Meetings product areas.
We are running a webinar via Zoom Sessions. Where is the ability to start or stop the recording manually? The recording controls are not present in their usual location! If the "auto-start" was not configured beforehand, you cannot change this without restarting the ongoing session either.
I usually only have 2 people in any meeting I host, but there are sometimes more. I am currently on the basic plan and am looking to possibly upgrade so that I don't get limited on time for those larger meetings. My manager has a pro plan currently. I see that there can be 1-9 licenses per pro plan. Does that mean that up to 9 accounts can be linked to that plan? Is there a plan that allows multiple accounts to be on it without having to buy plans for each one? Thanks for the help!
Hi All, I am looking to add our company logo to the screen so that it's visible when we conduct Zoom video meetings with clients. Does anybody know if this is possible and if it is, how I might add it? Thanks
Hello. I've just installed Zoom Client for MacOS and found that every time I start the application I have to enter my user name and password to sign in. This is very inconvenient. Is there "remember me" option? It is weird that such a simple feature is not implemented (((
Hi there, i just installed Zoom (6.4.13 (2309)) on Linux Min 22.1. Apart from my other problems (see other posts) there seems to be another issue: When joining a meeting there is a popup to confirm conditions & policies. This popup re-appears EVERY TIME when joining a meeting. Also when leaving a meeting there is a popup "you left the meeting".There is even a checkbox "do not show again", i checked it, but the popup keeps coming back. Screenshots here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/cNv0TGD The selected option is not saved. Greetings Fino
Hi, i installed the latest version 6.4.13 (2309) on 2 Ubuntu systems:1. a Classical Ubuntu2. Linux Mint, which is also Ubuntu-based On both systems i experience the same poblems. Also on the first system i tried an older version (don't remember the version number), but it was the stable release version from snap. Reproduction:- start an Ubuntu system- open zoom- press "join a meeting"- enter ID- enter PWD- accept conditions/policies- nothing happens - the main window stays unchanged, the "join a meeting link" is disabled, no meeting window appears- when closing the app now a confirm window opens "Are you sure to leave the meeting?" with "Leave" and "Cancel" buttons. Both systems are fully updated.Freshly restarted.Zoom fresh installed. The meeting was already in progress - it was possible to connect with other devices. Same happens with Test-Meeting: https://zoom.us/de/test This looks like a real bug. Greetings Fino
Dear All, Perhaps somebody has experienced such of situation already:Under the Zoom Workplace for Linux, I have a problem with the window width in the Settings menu -> General. The content pane is very narrow, and the padding width on the right almost covers the entire content pane area. I cannot insert the picture here to show the issue, but I hope my description is clear enough. Perhaps you know, how to fix it? It is about version: 6.4.10 (2027)
Hello everyone and Zoom teamI am a long-time Zoom user, I used to be very satisfied with the way Zoom works and the simple interfaceBut I see more and more changes and difficulties for users. Is it because your design team or user advisors are too free to think of many things that make it difficult for users? In the past, logging into an account and entering a password was very easy. Now you think of all kinds of tricks. So how do young and old users know how to use it? Are you too free?
We have a Zoom room setup with digital signage enabled. The computer we are using for the Zoom room is running Windows 11 and setup as a kiosk in Intune. It seems like Kiosk modes works like it should. On start up, it automatically signs into the kiosk account and Zoom Room automatically launches. The computer does not sleep or hibernate. We can still host and join meetings using this Zoom room without issues. We noticed that after rebooting, the digital signage does not display. After multiple reboots, the digital signage eventually shows up. If we randomly decide to reboot the computer, the digital signage stops displaying.I haven't been able to pin point the root cause for the digital signage issues. Does anyone have any thoughts?
I am seeing faxes from Athenahealth mostly but occasionally others, being split into two separate faxes.E.g. 1st fax pages 1-6 and then a 2nd fax with pages 7-11.Oddity is that it's also only one specific location/fax line seeing this behavior. Path is as follows:Zoom Fax # "X" > Auto Receptionist "X" that forwards to > EMR fax # "A"This is the one splitting sometimes Zoom Fax # "Z" > Auto Receptionist "Z" that forwards to > EMR fax # "A"This one, and many others configured similarly have never seen this issue This is all within their normal PBX config, nothing related to online fax.Our EMR vendor is at a loss.I cannot find any meaningful config differences between other fax lines, and the one with the issue.(Beyond the obvious like a different fax # and name).Hoping someone else has seen similar issues? Have not found anything as of yet...
I am new to Zoom and all I want is a replacement for Skype. Where is the phone icon so that I can call my mother? Please!
Is it possible to limit recording access for specific users/departments/sites. I'll explain a bit further as I know I can create roles, but here is a scenario: User A at Site A has all their calls recording for auditing purposes. Someone who can can review the calls for Site A sees the calls from User A as expected. User B works at Site B in HR, and by default does not have their calls recorded. When User A calls User B the call is still recorded because we record user A's calls. Is there a way to prevent the auditor for Site A from listening to that call. We use to use DVS Analytics that allowed us to provide some logic to that calls were excluded.
June 11, 2025I noticed that during a meeting I Hosted today, in the Host Tools, there was no Waiting Room option. I couldn't turn on a Waiting Room.We don't like to have it on all the time because the Owner has to show up daily to let everyone in and that's not possible. We like for the Host to be able to turn it on once they get to the meeting. It was last available, that I noticed, on May 28, 2025. Has it been off all June? How do we let Hosts turn it on and off for their meetings? Did it just move?I made a screenshot of what I'm looking at and uploaded it to Youtube:https://youtu.be/1SNQ6lEjL8sI left that link since I can't leave a screenshot here.
