I have disabled all features related to calendar, email, whiteboard, etc. in my Zoom account and noticed that several services are still running in background (iFrames probably that are running somewhere): They consume an insane amount of RAM, almost 400 MiB for processes that don't do anything or they should be disabled. I'm sure this can be a bug. I reported it also. Does anyone know if there is any way to fully disable them?
Hello, I use Zoom many times a day, and the desktop app launches directly from links in calendar invites. Is there a way to bypass the webpage that systematically opens and stays open even though it reroutes to the desktop app? As I have multiple Zoom calls every day, I end up with unnecessary open Zoom webpage tags in my browser, it messes up with my OCD 😉 I looked in settings, etc. but I could only find the converse, ie allowing users to open in browser as opposed to the desktop app. Thanks!
I am taking a class via Zoom, but I do not want to download the app to my laptop. I prefer to use it in the browser window. However, I cannot find a gallery view option in the Zoom screen. When I open the settings, there is nothing there, nor is there the icons in the upper corner like I used to see in the app at my old job. Is there no option of using gallery view when on your browser? It is very distracting to have the speaker constantly changing any time someone coughs or moves their chair or something.

I have renewed Zoom today and the new version is 5.17.0And now I can`t see any participants of my online meetings. Their video is ON, but I can`t see them.If I press the NOTES button, the image of the participant appears immediately. But those NOTES disturb me during the meeting. How can I solve the problem?
The internal mic on my PC does not work but my cell phone works as advertised. Can both the PC and the phone be used simultaneously to participate in a single Zoom session ? Thanx.
Can a guest obtain a copy of the meeting recording and transcript without the permission of the host?
I go to a few meetings that are held on a regular basis and the meeting ID and passwords are always the same along with the day and time. So, what I would love to be able to do is save all the meeting information and then when I am ready to log onto them I have all the information saved in like a phone book and just click on JOIN next to the one I want and connect to the meeting! How can I do that? If ZOOM does not currently do that, I was havijg trouble finding the feature request section if some colus SHOW ME where it is I would be grateful! Thanks!-Steven
I have encountered about 2 black boxes appearing in my presentation during screen sharing since Jan 2022. One blackbox appeared near the top and the other at the bottom. My laptop uses Windows 10 and I have updated the latest software. I have done all the hacks recommended in the Zoom web page, including changing the NVIDIA settings, video settings and screen sharing settings. Yet, I still have the same problem with the black boxes. Please help to resolve this problem. Thank you!
My camera is on but only shows a black screen with a camera drawing
I’m trying to use “My Notes” to save the transcripts of my meetings with clients. It is saving the transcript but, when I try to export it, only the title goes, not the transcript. I am able to export the summary, though, with no problem. Can anyone help? I’ve followed all the steps I can find on the internet to resolve this issue but, nothing is working. Thank you in advance!
Even though I click the “mirror my video,” my video does not come out mirrored in the other participants’ part. What should I do?
I am the host of a meeting, if I leave the meeting the meeting ends. I know I can move the host to someone else, but is there a setting which allows me to stop this from happening so if a host leaves on any meeting it doesn't end? I don't want to have to change host averytime?
I recorded a meeting last night that I need for my grad program. I can hear the audio but there is no video. What did I do wrong and is there anyway to recover the video? This was my first time trying to record.
I am hosting a webinar but do not want attendees to be able to see/use the "raise hand" button. How do I remove that option for a webinar? Also, is it possible to prevent other panelists from seeing the # of participants/attendees and their names? Thank you
Good day-I am wondering if anyone knows if Zoom has removed (recently) the ability for a meeting participant to join a Zoom meeting from a smartphone using the web browser on the phone. I beleive there used to be a link in the phone browser with this option. I no longer see that option on the browser of a smartphone. I only see the option to download/install the phone app or join the meeting by phone-only. I believe the link to join from a web browser is there when I go to the equivaent browser page on a desktop PC. I have a use cases where we want people to join a meeting from their phone but they may or may not know how to download/install the app from an app store. BTW, the meeting is a Zoom for Government meeting, if that matters. Thanks,Rick
Hi All, I am trying to find a smart tv, to which I can add a webcam/microphone, that we can use for videoconferencing. Anyone have any suggestions on smart tvs that have the Zoom app? Thank you very much. Peter

I have a corporate licence - I'm an ordinary user. I need to log into meetings from my corporate device so I can share screens and show documents but I would also like to be able to log in simultaneously from my tablet so I can draw diagrams with the pen because the corporate laptop has no touchscreen/pen. This is simple to do in Google Chat but some meetings are in Zoom and, in Zoom, when I try to log into my tablet I am logged out from my laptop. Is there a way to do this?
I changed a bunch of settings in order to enable recording on the cloud and integration with Otter.ai, but I've found a better way to do this and would like to put the setting back to the way they were before. Is there a way to reset settings to their default state without manually going back and resetting everything? At this point, I'm not even sure what I changed. Thanks for any help ppl can provide.
I recently paired my new Airpods Pro with my PC, and it is the default speaker/microphone. When I am in a Zoom meeting, I do not hear anything (nor can anyone hear my mic), even when the Zoom settings show I am connected to my Airpods. Volume is up everywhere. I have manually changed the mic/headphones within Zoom setting. I test speaker and microphone and no sound comes through my airpods This is ONLY a Zoom issue (no trouble hearing any other audio on my PC) and it's not happening with the Zoom app on my phone.
How do I getAPI Secret & API KeyCan someone help me

Is there a way to completely disable Zoom AI Companion for my entire org, so that nobody (not even Owners and Admins) can turn on AI backed functions like Meeting Summary, etc. during Zoom meetings?Additionally, is threre any way to remove the actual button from the Zoom desktop app UI, so that the option to activate AI features isn't even available?
Participant tab ... gives the option to make a sound when a person enters the waiting room. I would like this to be permanently on, so I don't make people wait because I am looking at another screen. It looks like I have to enable sound on entry every time I start a new meeting. Can this be made a default? Thanks
