I'm the owner of our enterprise account. We use zoom to conduct court hearings. Each of our hearing examiners schedules one meeting daily, with the waiting room enabled. Multiple hearings are conducted during each daily meeting. All participants (attorneys, defendants, agents, etc) are required to join at the start of the daily meeting and remain in the waiting room until their docket is called. The hearing examiner (host) controls participants by admitting them from the waiting room as the dockets are called. When a hearing concludes, the hearing examiner (host) moves the participants back to the waiting room. There are occasions where hearings are rolled over to another day, meaning the respective participants are never admitted to the meeting from the waiting room. Meeting attendance reports are used to determine sanctions in the cases where a participant fails to report (doesn't join the meeting). Hi, I am on a maxed out 27 inch iMac from 2020. Not new but decent machine still imho. - 3,8 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i7- AMD Radeon Pro 5700 XT 16 GB- 128 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 In 2024 before updating to Sonoma Zoom worked fine. No lag in video or screensharing.For months now Zoom just lags constantly and slows down machine even after call has ended. why?- I have tried to downgrade Zoom. no success- even got me faster internet, using lan cable. no success- limiting frames when sharing. no successGoogle Meet works fine, even Teams without issues. Why the heck is Zoom such a problem?Anyone got any ideas, tricks, tips? Thank you
Would anyone know how to address an issue where the screen sharing for Zoom carries the video for Premiere but no audio? Updated Zoom today and now the built in microphone will not work. If I mute, then unmute, the microphone will pick up my voice for a half of a second (microphone icon shows green) and then it cuts out. Muting and unmuting a second time has no effect. I have updated microphone driver (already had the most updated version), disabled, enabled, uninstalled & reinstalled. Microphone works on the test side of the laptop. Will not work on the test side of Zoom. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom. Microphone is allowed for all programs. It was working normally before the Zoom update. Nothing else has changed on my laptop otherwise. I have all the auto enhancements turned off. I have toggled through the settings to test each one. Microsoft Windows 11 on HP Envy. What am I missing?
Hi, I was hosting zoom meetings no problem on my iPhone 6s until a few days ago. When I view my set up through my iPhone camera it's the way I want it, but when I start the zoom meeting it automatically zooms in, especially from the side view - and now I can only see half of my set up. I've ticked and unticked so many boxes but nothing has helped. Would appreciate help! Thanks.
Hi, in a previous version (5.8.1) switching off 'always display participant names on their video' also switched them off in recordings. Now, however, in the latest version it seem impossible to remove my name from the bottom left corner. It only does so in the meeting and not the recording. Has anyone else ran into this issue? Is there a solution for this? Any help greatly apreciated. Thanks,Adam
I accidentally recorded a Zoom meeting to the cloud without a paid account. I then opened a Pro Plan in hopes of locating the recording, but I can't find it. How can I retrieve the recording?
How do I stop people from signing me up into their Zoom webinars I did not sign up for? Im getting inundated with them - several a week. Complete distraction of my time.
We migrated to Zoom phone last year and it's never worked properly. We've had calls going silent both ends, just us going silent but still bale to hear the other caller, and the latest one is that the phone rings and then when we try to answer it says the call has already been answered. We even had one client told by the system to hang up. I invited Zoom support to call me so they could experience the issues for themselves and they just never did, even though they said they did. Eventually they just closed the ticket because I didn't respond over the Christmas break. I'm on the verge of switching to another provider but I would like to know if it's just me.
Please add the option to make My tasks the default Tab when I open Tasks.I don't use Recommended tasks, every task I get assigned is very specific.Recommended, at best, is generic, at worst it's completely irrelevant. We have just rolled out Emails for Zoom Contact Center - we are a fairly small/mid size company and were using gsuite for most of our operations. Our customer service team is used to some functionalities from the delegated inbox/gmail that are missing - especially with previewing documents and images without having to download them as well as being able to actually download inline/embedded images within the email. Is this something Zoom is working on and does anyone know how to escalate or add to that feature request.
My main user profile cannot log into the desktop mac app and gets the attached errors. However, the 2nd user profile on this machine can log in and I noticed that in the "Privacy & Security" settings then "Local Network" Zoom is listed and checked on the profile that works but on the main profile Zoom is not listed. Also there is no option or plus sign to add an app manually. How do I load zoom on this profile and get it in the Local Network section so it will work? Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't work even when I download the latest app straight from the website. I do not get prompted to allow the app for local network for some reason. How can I fix this?

About two weeks ago the sharing behavior changed. I used to be able to share vlc that was on my second screen and it would play properly for everyone else. Now when I share it shares the audio but the video stays static. I tried the very same setup on a Win 10 Pro computer and it works as expected. The only way I can share a video is to use the share, advanced, video. If I was only sharing one video at a time it would be OK but I share multiple videos at one time so it has become slow and awkward. Is there a fix? Additional info, I moved the vlc screen onto my primary monitor and it works as before. So why won't it work when vlc is on my 2nd monitor.
Hi My stream cam keeps flicking HD off and appears blurry to me. Other course users say it still appear HD and sharp to them. I have checked all setting and have latest updates. By stopping video and restart it clears for a little while then slips over agiain - any ideas folks
Just got a new computer (Mac) and so I downloaded the latest version of ZOOM and I absolutely hate it. I do lessons on ZOOM, and this Center Stage "feature" makes that difficult as it keeps focusing on and following me, which means it's difficult to share things outside of my face, which I don't want it to be zooming in on in the first place. And in previous versions, I could adjust the lighting to make up for the lighting situation in my room, but now all there are are filters. Where are the lighting settings? If there isn't a solution, I'm going to have to cancel my ZOOM subscription and find some other option.
Hi there. During video meetings I need to work/change documents simultneously in other programms (Word, excel, etc.). Always when switching on the programm I can no longer see the video/image of the other attendees. Is there a way to make sure Zoom opens the Video in a small window (like skype used to do)?
I'm trying to find out how to set a default image when setting up a conference with multiple session. Although Zoom creates a 'default image' I apparently can't publish the event until I have set my own image (seems a bit daft). I will have hundreds of sessions in an upcoming event so I need to be able to set my own default image. Can anyone help?
I find my email address being spammed repeatedly event if I unsubscribe or even use the unsubscribe link given to me by Zoom. It is absolutely unacceptable that I have no control over when or how Zoom emails me. If the excuse is "the users can upload a database of emails and names and just invite as many people as they want" that to me seems in direct breach of GDPR and my ability to choose when and how I receive emails using my data. Zoom, there must be a way for your systems to literally never email me. I don't care who uploads my email address, I don't register for webinars and I literally never use my Zoom account. Please can someone explain to me why, even after "unsubscribing" my email is still being abused.
My Zoom app recently updated to Zoom Workplace and now includes the "create clips" facility. There is a keyboard shortcut built in (Ctrl+Alt+C) that opens that window even when Zoom is closed. Unfortunately it is a keyboard shortcut that I had set up for use in Word and it's one that I use *all the time* 😞 I have disabled the clips feature in Zoom, but that keyboard shortcut now seems to have been irrevocably allocated to that function, so when I type it in Word, nothing happens, and I can't allocate it to the function I had allocated it to any more. I've set up a new shortcut in Word, but even so this is driving me nuts because my use of that shortcut is so automatic that I'm forever using it and getting confused about why nothing has happened. Does anyone know how to wrest control of my shortcut back from Zoom? Hi, I have spent 60 minutes trying to have no virtual background. With the help of ChatGPT, I have already deleted and installed Zoom, deleted the Cache on my Mac, etc. The background apparently is saved somewhere online.. Would you have any recommendations? Thanks!
I have just recently upgraded to Fedora 42 XFCE and today installed the Linux Zoom client. Version 6.4.13 (2309) is what I received. In the past on launching the Zoom client the system audio was nowhere near high enough and I had to go to my audio profile to turn Zoom very loud so I could hear the meetings. In the past, muting and unmuting caused the system sound to return to the default setting and I had to run it up again. Today, that was not happening.However, during the meeting today that I hosted, every time someone entered the waiting room my audio returned to default. Additionally, every time I admitted someone into the meeting the audio returned to default. It did so a few other times, too, for instance when one meeting participant (who had joined the meeting by phone) dropped out, likely due to connectivity issues.Each time the system audio returned to Zoom's default setting I could not hear anything at all and had to rush over to the audio
I love that there is an SMS templates section in the admin portal so that I can make it easy for my call center volunteers to respond in a similar way. (Found in Account Management > Account settings > Zoom phone > SMS templates) I set up several SMS templates in the portal, but can't figure out how to use them when actually texting. We've tried the iOS app, the MacOS app, and the web app. Is there a setting I need to set elsewhere to allow my users to use these templates?
Hi a few of our users are getting a "Call Salesforce API failed. Please try again later." Our admins do not see this issue so I'm assuming it's related to some permission but I can't seem to figure out what. Does anybody have any ideas?
