Hey all - Today, in two separate meetings, I (co-host with Original Sound for Musicians ON), got the pop-up suggesting that I change my spoken language to Russian, as it believes I've started talking Russian. This is the first time it has happened, and now it's happened twice. I do not speak Russian, nor was I speaking incoherently. I have a professional audio setup, so it wasn't background noise, music, or anything else that would be coming through the stream. It's distracting and I assume it's a bug with the latest release.
Enduser is a part of call queue and some of the calls are missing in the history., Where as in the logs I can see all the calls , but few are missing in Zoom workplace app history.
My locally recorded file is not converting. I've followed all the steps for a Mac in the support articles and tried to open the file with Transcode. I get a message saying, "cannot find the files to convert." This worries me as this was my son's first birthday Zoom call with our family. Please let me know how to retrieve this file.
We use Zoom to record my company's podcast and we use Descript to edit them. Now that Descript has launched an integration with Zoom, this will make recording and editing our podcasts even easier. However, I can not seem to figure out how to record my participants on separate audio and separate video tracks so that we can make full use of all Descript can do. What settings do I need to set so that when I record a Zoom meeting - each of my participants ends up with individual audio and individual video tracks (similar to how platforms like Riverside or Squadcast record them). The videos I've found online skip past the settings step and I know I'm doing something wrong because I get separate audio tracks but still only one video track.
Is there a way to disable auto-framing on the main camera of a zoom room intelligent director 3+1 camera set-up? We often have one person that partially obscures their face near the edge of the main camera frame that causes the room view to constantly zoom to reframe with and without them. It would also be great to disable the room view entirely and only display the individual streams to the webinar. Set up:Windows PC with 3 Logitech Rally PTZ in intelligent director mode and a 4th in multi-camera manual mode. All cameras are on the latest firmware and have RightSight disabled in Sync.
I’m struggling to get anyone from Zoom to help me.I have an iPad (8th generation), which I usually connect to my main TV with an HDMI cable. When I play YouTube on the iPad, both the picture and sound are transmitted perfectly to the TV.However, when I join my Zoom Pilates class and connect it to the TV, I only get the picture — there’s no sound. Can anyone please advise me how to get the sound from my Zoom Pilates class to play through the TV?lee
I am not seeing myself on zoom meetings. I have searched all the help I could find online and nothing has helped. It used to work fine and just recently it went black. My camera works fine in other applications. I have updated drivers, reinstalled zoom, experimented with all the settings. I have tried different cameras and get the same result, so it must be with the zoom application. Not sure what to try next.Dan

For the past two weeks, my devices (Macbook Air M1) have been disconnected randomly during our calls and then reconnected after a few seconds which remove all the screen sharing. It says poor internet connection but actually it's not since we checked carefully already.- Internet: stable, strong signal, checked with the internet provider and also multiple apps.- Devices: two different Macbooks - two different accounts - both are Pro usersAnyone knows the root cause and solution?
I have paid for the Events subscription & connected my business and PAYPAL and it is still NOT coming up with the option to set up for a PAID TICKET in registration - any advice ?
I have the Professional paid-for version of Zoom (I think 6.5.9) and my own regular meeting room ID and passcode. A few weeks ago I followed the prompt and upgraded the Zoom on my main personal computer to the latest version. Ever since then, other users cannot join my personal meeting room. They get a message saying "Waiting for the host to start the meeting."My secondary laptop has an older version of Zoom, 6.3.11, and on it I CAN host meetings as normal. It prompts me to upgrade to Version 6.5.9, which I will not do until I sort out the problem on my main computer. Both my main computer and my laptop run Windows 10 Professional.
This is more of a statement as I've been told by support that this is the way the system is designed. From the desktop app, there should be a way to monitor presence for a common area or a user, regardless if they are logged in via the desktop app or not. For instance, if a user is not logged into the app, but has a desk phone assigned to their user account, the app should still show that user as available if they are not on a call, instead of "offline" - it makes it difficult for sites that have employees that are used to a traditional phone system/dont have the need for the desktop app to still be monitored via presence. We have receptionists that handle incoming calls, and then those calls are transferred to other different users within other departments, but the receptionists aren't able to see their status unless they are logged into the desktop app. Seems like a major issue, as this was a feature on our legacy system we migrated from.
Hello, I have an issue during Zoom meetings. Whenever someone shares their screen and there's music playing (along with a singer), I can only hear the singer's voice but not the background music.I have already enabled "Original Sound" and tried various methods, including uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom. I also tried turning off the "Original Sound for Musicians" option, but the issue still persists.I would appreciate any help or solutions you can provide for this issue.
Hi, We organise online seminars where videos are being shared on screen and reviewed and commented by a professional . We have a ZoomWorkplace Pro Monthly plan and with a few members this works but as soon as the group is a little bit bigger the videos start lagging. I am the host and I have excellent internet connection, the videos are stored locally (so not internet based) and I see the videos perfectly on my screen. However for many participants they are lagging behind which destroys the whole purpose of the seminar. One participant changed from a PC to an iPad and it worked better. Has anyone experienced this before? How can we solve it? Our next seminar is in a few weeks and I am wondering if we need to look for another provider. Thank you!
I dont see any recent discussion on this topic so I will ask it again, apologies if i have overlooked a thread somewhere. Does Zoom support use of an external usb webcam when joining a zoom meeting from an Android device such as the Samsung Galaxy S9. If this is not currently supported, is there any chance it will be supported in the future? Thank you!
Is there an approach which would support staff that work from home and the office? For example, if Monday through to Wednesday were office days, I could offer either Zoom meetings or face-to-face meetings to clients. However, on Thursdays and Fridays when I work from home, the only option available to the client is a Zoom meeting. In the ideal world, when the client is taken to the employee's Schedule, the calendar displayed would have icons (or similar) visible on each day that provides an indication of the type of meeting that is available. This would make it simple/easy for the client to select a day for the meeting based on their preference (ie. I really want to meet face-to-face).
All my meetings transcriptions are getting deleted automatically after every call. I tried EVERY setting and I cannot solved it. This started to happen 2 months ago.
Hi,Does anyone know how to return a participant to their breakout room after they loose connection and have to rejoin the meeting? When I try to do it, the room they were in is not available as an option so I have to move them into a different room first and then move them back into their previous room. Surely there is an easier way of doing this. Thanks,Anna
Using Poly E320 Desk phone we found that while making a call the display shows the calling name but then a comma and then the name of the last call completed? scenario1. I dial Caller One, caller one answers, I hang up2. Then I dial Caller Two. On the display it will show "Caller Two, Caller One"
Hello,I am a licensed Zoom host and use Zoom daily for teaching. Since the most recent update, the annotation tools have been reduced and this has made my work much more difficult:• The Text tool is no longer available in the annotation toolbar.• The colour options have been reduced from 16 colours down to only 4, and the white colour is missing completely. These features were essential for teaching — especially when annotating during lessons to highlight different answers, write in different colours for clarity, and use text boxes. Losing them has negatively affected both my teaching flow and the learning experience for my students. Please could you let me know:• If this change was intentional or a bug.• Whether Zoom plans to restore the full set of annotation tools (text + full colour palette). As a paying customer, I strongly request that these tools be reinstated, or that the same functionality is made available within the classic annotation feature without requiring the new Whiteboar
My synagogue host zoom during the Jewish High Holidays of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Participants can hear everything except when the Rabbi blows the Shofer. Has anyone had this problem and how they were able to resolve it? Any help would be most appreciated.

I cannot hear others' audio or speak while plugged in my earphone.- I am unmuted- My earphones work when using other software and websites but just not zoom(e.g. skype, youtube, etc)Things I have tried:- Changed the input and output audio settings in zoom to 1) the same as system and 2) to my earphones- Tried the "test speaker and microphone" and failed in every test- Used different earphones to plug into the earphone jack -> same result, no audio output or input (My Bluetooth wireless buds works on zoom without audio issue but not wired earphones )- Make sure system > advanced sound options > zoom meetings are turned up to 100- Allowed microphone access in Windows' Privacy Setting- Uninstalled zoom (and removed all of the leftover files), restart my laptop and reinstall zoom for 3 times - Edit: I updated, uninsta
Hello, In some of our meetings, we’ve set it up so the alternative host can start the meeting without our onsite support. If any issues come up, we’ll join as a co-host to assist. However, we’ve noticed that when we as the organizers are about to join, Zoom still shows the “Start” option, even if the meeting has already been started by the alternative host. In the Workplace app, the notification also says the meeting is “20 minutes past the scheduled time, please start it,” which can be confusing if another team member doesn’t realize the meeting is already running. It would be much clearer if the notification popped up as something like:“The alternative host has started the meeting. Join?”orSimply changing the “Start” button to “Join” once the meeting has already been started by the alternative host. This small adjustment would help avoid confusion for our team. Thank you!
When I connect my AirPods Pro 2 to my Windows laptop, they work fine, I hear audio in all apps, I hear the test tone when I change volume in the Windows audio mixer. The moment Zoom opens, they stop playing. I cannot hear a thing in Zoom, I cannot hear a thing anywhere else, the headphones are effectively muted. This persists even if I kill zoom. If I disconnect and reconnect my headphones, audio works again, until Zoom is opened. When this issue occurs, visual guides (meters) representing the audio playing in the system or Zoom app do indicate playback, but no audio is audible. This happens only with Zoom, other communication apps are fine, repro rate on this is 100%. I am connected to correct headphones, the audio device is unmuted in the system. When these headphones are used without Zoom app, they work as expected.
I'm looking to automate the manual approval process via the Zoom Salesforce Integration feature, but am having issues. I understand registrants can be manually approved by opeing the webinar record in Salesforce, selecting the registrants in the "Pending For Approval" tab, and hitting the approve button. The registration records in Salesforce have a status field indicating "Pending For Approval", however, changing that field to "Approved" does not sync back to Zoom and approve that registrant. I'd love for this to be the case, because I can easily create automation for when a zoom registration record is created in Salesforce, look up to see if that account is a member, and if so, change that status to Approved. Has anyone run into this, or have any suggestions on how to accomplish this?
