Attendee logs are retained for 15 months per Getting started with Zoom reporting How can we change this retention period? I don't see any knowledge articles explaining how the retention period can be reduced from 15 months to say, 180 days.
I recently paired my new Airpods Pro with my PC, and it is the default speaker/microphone. When I am in a Zoom meeting, I do not hear anything (nor can anyone hear my mic), even when the Zoom settings show I am connected to my Airpods. Volume is up everywhere. I have manually changed the mic/headphones within Zoom setting. I test speaker and microphone and no sound comes through my airpods This is ONLY a Zoom issue (no trouble hearing any other audio on my PC) and it's not happening with the Zoom app on my phone.
Hello, ProblemI'm using my Airpods Pro 2 to take Zoom calls on my PC running Windows 11. Despite keeping the volume to 100%, I can barely hear what the others are saying only in a Zoom call. When I'm playing audio via Spotify windows app, or Youtube via browser, 20% volume is sufficient to provide that clarity. When I keep Spotify playing on the side with say 30% volume and open Zoom settings -> Audio, there is a pause in the playback and then the audio playing via Spotify becomes barely audible. The loudness drops drastically (despite keeping 100% volume) only on Zoom calls or Zoom audio settings. 100% volume on Zoom feels like 20% or less in other apps. The mic output seems fine though. I'm noticing a similar issue with my older Airpods Pro gen 1 headphones as well. As a Japanese administrator using the Pro version of Zoom on Windows 11, I'm trying to utilize the AI companion feature. However, the side panel, including buttons like "Catch me up," is displaying in English. Despite having set all language options, including those in the taskbar and app settings, to Japanese, the side panel remains in English. Could you please advise on how to switch the display language to Japanese?
I've had my pronouns (She/Her/Hers) saved in my profile for months, but AI Companion is still misgendering me to 'he/his' in all of the meeting summaries. How do I get it to pick up my correct pronouns?
From my searching I gather the answer is no, but is there any setting where I can ensure that meeting summaries from AI Companion are with English spelling, instead of American English? It adds to necessary editing time of the summaries when I need to change all of the incorrect spelling.
I have enabled Zoom AI Companion as the owner of our account. I would like to only allow this add-in for one user to test before we offer it house wide. How do I select which user's can have this option enabled to start?
I'm not sure what I did but for the last few weeks every time I am on Zoom, a voiceover announces when each guest in the meeting is sharing their screen, or has entered and left the meeting. I searched for how to remove AI companion in Zoom and followed the steps but my account showed that it was never enabled..???Is there another reason why my Zoom is announcing everything that happens in the meeting? It's embarrassing and I don't want to have to switch to another meeting provider but it's coming off as unprofessional.Also, when posting this in the Zoom Community, your topic fields have not been updated to include AI companion in case you want to troubleshoot issues that arise with that.
If you are having a pre-meeting call with a colleague and you switch the AI feature on (lets say to help with transcripts), it then caches all speech from them on. Any new joiners to the call get to see everything you have discussed.We tested it this morning with colleagues joining and leaving and new joiners were able to get a precis of everything that was said for the previous ten minutes before they joined.Are you aware of ways to avoid this (aside from not activating the AI feature)?Thank you
When I recorded a meeting to the cloud, it will generate the summary and next step based on the meeting content, but I found the next step is incorrect for one meeting. I didn’t say anything in one recording, but it show several next step.And the second case is that there is no full stop in the next step, and usually they have the full stop.
This is the THIRD time I have disabled it globally only to find that Zoom has re-enabled it. This is apparently happening to many of my colleagues based on some recent threads in our Discord board. Can someone explain to me how I can permanently and forever ban Zoom AI from being re-enabled? Thanks.
Why is Zoom now enabling AI Companion without user permission???? This is an invasion of privacy and should be illegal. Some people do not want text recordings of meeting summaries, and now you are just creating them without permission. This should be an "opt-in," NOT a DEFAULT setting.
We are looking for an option to be able to print or save SMS conversations with clients to put in their files. Right now we can highlight the conversation and then copy/paste it, but it loses formatting and is difficult to follow without lots of editing.

I am having issues as follows: 1. On Zoom app which I can open - cannot start a new meeting - when I click doesn't do anything 2. On Zoom app which I can open - cannot open settings - when I click doesn't do anything 3. 2. On Zoom app which I can open - cannot Join - when I click doesn't do anything Web Version Ok Any ideas .. I have reinstalled Zoom a few times -- no luck
HiI'm having an issue accessing meetings when I click on a meeting link sent to me. I have a free Zoom account which shouldn't make any difference with this issue. I've got the Zoom app installed on my laptop. Previously meeting links would open automatically in the app. Now they're not. I get taken to a Zoom website and click on "Join from Zoom Workplace app" and nothing happens (previously I didn't even have to click that button). I've uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Same issue. If I open the app, some meetings are on the right side bar as scheduled. I can access if they're there. I have no idea how some get there and others don't. I discovered a workaround which is not convenient - I open the app, click "Join", go to the email, copy and paste the meeting link or ID and then copy and paste the passcode. Does anyone have any answers as to why accessing a Zoom meeting is now so much more difficult? TIAJennifer
Hello! We've been on zoom phone and zoom contact center since January of 2024. We have our main line number in our contact center. We have dial by name enabled in our zoom phone system, but our main line number lives in zoom contact center. I'm trying to figure out how to add the dial by name / dial by extention option into the contact center flow for our reception number. All the topics I'm seeing on this concern zoom phone. I was able to hobble a solution together by having the caller choose dial by name in the contact center, then having it exit to an outbound number that lives in zoom phone where I enabled the dial by name. BUT it's very clunkly (two separate greetings saying the same thing). We just recently discovered this issue and are trying to fix it ASAP! Thanks.

I have a basic license and I already have a weekly meeting scheduled on Sundays. Can I also schedule a weekly meeting for Tuesdays without eliminating the Sunday one?
I have a regular meeting that consistently drops the connection multiple times during the meeting. My internet connection is stable. I have several other meetings with other people and don't have this issue, only with this particular other user. We have tried it with them hosting and with me hosting, and the result is always the same. What can I do to resolve this issue?
I'm in a bit of a bind with read.ai. I host a recurring meeting set up with "join before host" so that participants can interact if I am late or can't attend. At the very first meeting, a participant enabled read.ai, which I have disabled every time. That participant has not attended since that first meeting, and yet the read.ai prompt shows up at the start of the meeting every single time. I have read all the other posts by users who are trying to disable the read.ai service, and none of them apply here because (a) I don't have a read.ai account, (b) setting up a waiting room won't work with the "join before host" option, (c) the person who invited read.ai has not returned to the meeting but the read.ai bot still shows up, and (d) even if I reach out to that person, it isn't clear how she would turn off the service without joining the meeting. Is there any way to eliminate the read.ai service, or do I have to set up an entirely new meeting to do so?
I'm looking forward to testing out this sign language interpretation in a zoom meeting tomorrow. We will have two hired interpreters that will transition every 15 minutes. We've tested this out and it looks great live, but we also need a good recording for archival purposes. For the recording, I've enabled the sign language interpreter recording in my "Settings," however this seems to just trigger a separate video file of the ASL interpreter along with a separate speaker view video file. Is there no way to have a recording that has both speaker view + interpreter in the same video file when you download it from the cloud - or are separate video recordings our only option? I'm also curious if a "local" recording to someone's local machine will trigger a different view as a workaround to see that ASL interpreter. Thank you in advance for any advice!
I have a 2.5 hour audio recording of a meeting that I would like to get a full text transcript for. Can I do this after the meeting has happened?
I activated Transcript in Settings (via web) now. But is there a way to get transcript of videos which were recorded on the cloud before I changed the settings?
Am unable to enable the Virtual Background in my android tab. I tried changing my settings - ( meeting advanced- enabled virtual background) but still it doesn't gives me the option of virtual background in the "more" option at the right bottom on the meeting screen. How can I sort it out?
