Meetings

This issue has me banging my head against a wall. I have cox internet in AZ with the service 1 gig up/down (with speedtests showing 920’ish both ways). I have unifi equipment and all affected devices are hard wired. The issue occurs on my wife’s and I laptop. When we join a zoom meeting everything is fine. But once we share screen, we get internet connection is unstable and from the other users in the meeting they report our voices are robotic or don’t transmit at all. they also report the stream lags extremely bad or freezes. This issue does not happen when using teams or any other meeting software. All other devices/services work perfectly fine in my environment.  To troubleshoot I have plugged my laptop directly into the modem, bypassing my router, and the issue still occurs. I had a cox technician here this morning and he basically shrugged his shoulders. I know something is being blocked upstream and I need to be able to go to cox with this evidence. Has anyone he

I received a zoom invitation and when I click on the link, I am directed to a webpage that is telling me my zoom client is out of date and I need to update. A file downloads and when I install the file it does not resolve the issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled zoom with the latest version, cleared my cache, and restarted my computer multiple times. At this point I have no idea what to do.  The interesting part is I am able to open other zoom invitations, so I am not sure if the issue is on my end or the invitation creator's end. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

You might have seen the announcement recently that Zoom launched their connector for Claude. I took it for a test drive to see how it could make me more effective.Looking forward to seeing where this Claude connector will evolve within the Zoom ecosystem. 

Hello,I am currently experiencing issues related to transcription during Zoom meetings and would like to ensure that no transcription or recording takes place at any time.While I have already disabled cloud recording on my account, I am concerned that participants joining the meeting may still have the ability to record or transcribe sessions independently. Since attendees can join without being tied to a centralized account, I do not have direct control over their individual settings.Could you please advise on how to fully disable transcription features for all participants in a Zoom meeting? Additionally, I would like to understand what measures can be implemented to ensure that no attendee is able to record or transcribe the session, regardless of their personal settings.Thank you for your assistance.Kind regards,

I don’t now the mains of today meeting 

 I was using phone for audio for desktop zoom. I could listen. Everything worked fine until the host unmuted me, then the audio icon changed, and I could not interact with the host.This is using desktop zoom for Debian, 7.0.0.1666 This problem has happened multiple times.One time, I was able to establish a working system by hanging up the phone and reconnecting.Another time, this method did not succeed, forcing me to move to Android app. 

I cannot tell if Zoom has installed or not.  

Hi everybody! I'm new to zoom and I'm trying to organize my first interview with it. I can't seem to find any audio, video, etc settings under "settings". How do I go about it? Thanks for your help

i am now unable to login into my personal and work email because I accidentally put the educator status and pressed all the age buttons hastily. i need to use zoom for this email because it is connected to my emails for college. please help. i am unable to submit a support ticket and contact because i need to login which i cannot. i made this account with a different email, but the email that I need support on is different. please help 

Could, pls, somebody tell me how I can test my microphone and camera BEFORE I start a conference? I have just installed zoom. After the installation there was some kind of a test. The camera seemed to be working, but the microphone did not. I clicked my profile, but it did not have any settings. I have only a basic account. Thank you.

When setting up all my meeting, I turn on automatically recording to my computer.  In the the last 5 (or more) sessions, the automatic recording has not worked.  If I remember, I can turn it on during the live session, but would really like not to have to remember when I am live.  Please advise.

Why not support the virtual background on my device ( samsung tab s9 fe)

I just logged into try and schedule some meetings and the whole interface has been changed.  I go to click on meetings and it gives me the option to "host" or "join" a meeting....  Sigh.....  Where the heck did they move the dashboard when you used to log into your account and it launched right then and there.  Now it's filled with all sorts of garbage promoting more services to buy that don't interest me and clutter up my screen. And, where do you request support to chat with a support agent?  I'm not interested in their stupid AI bots. I don't understand why they have to make things harder.

I decided to give it a try this afternoon, the new Zoom Meeting Transcript option, to try and capture more of the feeling of the meeting rather than just my own take on it.  My intent had been to have the transcript and compare it with some of the things that I had typed for the Therapeutic Counselling session.  I have reviewed it as a single entity but then looked for how to download this transcript, in case I needed to put on a USB flash drive for Court.  This is where things became a little unstuck.I could not find, anywhere I looked, the link, button, ability to download this “Safe” document.  I could save it but only into my Zoom Documents or Notes.  This doesn’t work for the UK GDPR for keeping Client Notes in one place where they can be kept secure.  All documents are saved to a secure USB Flash Drive and then locked away in a safe.  I can not safely say that the documents can be saved as securely on a cloud.I await the community responses.

Hello Community,One of our enterprise premier users has encountered an issue with generating Zoom logs for their two recent meetings that took place on April 14th. In the provided Screenshot, the user has two meetings. But she cannot generate reports using the icons on the right side. I as an administration have tried to generate the reports for her as well, but the Report icon is greyed out for these and all other meetings for our tenet.Please can I have assistance with troubleshooting this issue?Sincerely,Terrence NarayanBCNU IT Support Technician

Hi all. I recorded a meeting and then tried to save it Locally instead of the iCloud and I lost the recording after trying to allow my computer to communicate with Zoom...any ideas if I can still get my recording or is it lost forever?!?! UGH!"recordings and storage" 

I setup a livestream in advance,When I connected the livestreaming app to this advanced recording, I also saw my previous recording it did for me a few days ago be deleted !!!When I stopped this livestream, which was seen ok on Youtube, the live stream was deleted when the recording ended.Please make sure you have a cloud recording, or local recording for backup as when things are deleted by youtube, they CAN NOT BE RECOVERRED.All the best to you allJohnYes, Even Zoom Community Super Champions have problems some times!!!  

I’m writing as a paid Zoom customer and long-time power user to report a regression in window management behavior on Windows that is impacting daily use.Recent Zoom desktop versions appear to have removed or obscured global controls related to window priority and “always on top” behavior. As a result, fullscreen meetings intermittently fail to properly assert z-order, causing the Windows taskbar to appear behind or overlay applications even after exiting Zoom fullscreen. This behavior did not occur in earlier versions.Key issues:No discoverable global setting to control “always on top” or meeting window priority In-meeting controls are inconsistent or unavailable depending on window state Fullscreen behavior does not reliably request exclusive fullscreen from the OS Existing documentation no longer matches the current UIThis feels like a regression rather than a feature change. Hello Zoom Community,   I am not a paid customer. Apparently, I can not get technical support if I am not a paid customer. However, I need video recording and transcript for the meeting that was hosted by someone else (I was participant and not an organizer). What are my options to get in touch with Tech Support for this request?   Appreciate your help in advance.

Whenever I open the Zoom app, it is not signed in. I then click on "youve previously signed in as ***********", which opens a browser window. I sign in.  It then pops another Chrome window. Zoom never signs in. This loop is inescapable. Help? 

If an individual uses a Zoom link to register to attend a session on Zoom. Does the individual use the same link to access the scheduled session that he used to register? Or will he receive a separate Zoom link for the session itself?
