It appears that windows can not find the zChatUI.dll file. This can be from numerous reasons. Some of which includes not installing as a windows admin, interference from anti-virus software, bad sectors on the hard drive, missing distribution files, etc. Try uninstalling Zoom per https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0065146

    I don’t think so.

A similar error I got after Zoom 6.4.12. Zoom told me it had something to do with Microsoft software. That was not the case and I had to wait for a Zoom update for them to fix it.

Later versions worked until now when the same thing happen. I got the same answer: update pack for Microsoft software version 2008.

Don’t believe it. They screwed up again and give the runaround. Typical.

I have 3 older HP laptops running Win 10, 3 mini PCs running Win 10, a mini PC running Win 11, and a desktop running Win 11. None of these computers have any issue with any version of Zoom. The error you show is typical of issues with the Windows OS and not with Zoom. A little online research will explain how to resolve these issues with Windows.

If this is a problem with an old version of Windows, how to explain the following:

    • Zoom worked fine until 6.4.12 after which it would not install.
    • A couple of versions later it installed again
    • Now in 7.0.2 it issues two errors but installs and seem to be working OKit again? What is more, 7.0.2 seems to have installed

If the problem is windows, shouldn’t it have had the same problem with everything after 6.4.12?
